Hello all. This is a phone post.!

I’m gunna catch up more fully after some off the clock work once I get home.

To summarize the game so far, this game has been fairly inactive. There has been one miselimination.

325 and 326 is pretty good.

Replace outs are somewhat common due to a variety of reasons. I’m not sure what the replace out rate for newbies in a newbie game is, but it’s probably fairly high.

hmmm. I'm not sure what I am supposed to take from this this tbh. Is being high supposed to indicate more likely to be town? or of being scum? or neither?

I am also unsure how you came up with your ranking, specifically why you have Demainer so low, when according to the activity overview, Demainer has the most posts of any living player (at 44).

Would you care to elaborate?
Both and neither. The people who are trying I pay more attention to, they also tend to more likely be town, but I pay more attention to them in case they're scum doing a good job. I tend to put them through another layer skepticism.

While I am thinking about post-rates, I'm also thinking about (how to word this?) density, thoughtfulness, and complexity to an argument. Along with a dash of believability.

@People in my don't care list: do you prefer to play town or scum (or if you're new which alignment appeals to you more?)
@Everyone: Why aren't you scum this game?

Hello FF.

Clasko's claim doesn't look like a fake claim to me. Though it wasn't optimal. I'd ask why he investigated Egix in particular since he seemed one of the easier to read, but It doesn't really matter.

Ivyeo, Demainer, FF, Lukewarm. One in E1, one in E2.

To me it looks like he's running on autopilot, just pushing whoever and saying whatever. He is emotionally engaged, hence why Wheme seemed to think he was "tunneled" but I just think of him as like an NPC in marioparty on a stage where they just sort of run at you to try you knock you off the platform with 0 deviation or algorithmic pathing. Like an arrow.

I replaced into this slot because I thought it was a scum slot.
Boy was I surprised (I'm kidding, I didn't read this game before I replaced into and just wanted to play a newbie game and hang out with some unfamiliar faces).

Why did you join because I joined? We could have been fish friends, but now you're 39.33333% likely to be scum.

Yes, scum are extremely unhappy with inactive games with inactive towns. They just hate that.

I don't agree, Demainer seems like an SE more than a newbie.

I don't see any obvious anti-tunneling measures in Demainer's posts. SE's usually have those when they're trying.

What do you mean by how do I feel?
They constructed a blameless vote and argued that they were being very consistent this game with almost no trace of irony in their posts. They're very green.

Your push against Egix is off, why did you feel the need to push at him? You'd read the game beforehand right?

I haven't missed much, you're playing a standard game where you started out by posturing and communicating your intent to all before voting me and asking leading questions, positioning yourself so that your reads are aligned with the most active people while pushing at the least active.

It's pretty blameless stuff, if I asked you why you'd say you wanted to inject life into this game and I would literally never be able to tell the difference between that and just getting town read and picking to side with those that have the most influence. It feels samey.

Guess who's about to disappear because he just got a call to do a shitload of work?

THIS GUY.

I'm sorry FF. I have to prep for tomorrow now. Parent-student meeting tommorrow and we'll be talking about reopening and oh my god.

I haven't played with Wheme, but he didn't seem very hard to read, he did seem argumentative and abrasive, sure. But that's not very much of one.
Anyway, I believe Egix is cleared so I didn't get what you were insinuating with him not "trying to read you." I was like, 'wut'

I'm not interested in an intentional miselim, it doesn't help anyone. If ivy somehow flips town, which I doubt, but if that's truly the case, then I definitely need to reconsider my position on luke.

For now, I feel ivy is the scummiest of everyone alive, and her flipping either town or scum will also give us good info on how to proceed.
I'm probably voting this.

Because he's not interested in an intentional miselimination. I find this extremely controversial. He then goes on to say that he will definitely, definitely reconsider his position on Luke if his scum read flips town. Which is just incredible. I've never seen such insight from someone so experienced before.

Ivyeo.

I'm thinking.

My initial reads on REP in were that Clasko, Iveyeo Deminer, and endless dark had all the scum in it.

You're right that in terms of influence FF would be the better kill if you're confident they're scum because they can take off with the game and more likely than not you just won't have the votes later. I've been playing in big games so much that this game feels almost too easy to be honest. The pools so narrow that I could just throw a stone and hit scum 50% of the time. I need to make a decision now, I am literally always inclined to let FF live because they can win games single handedly, but that's nepotism. This game was easier when they hadn't replaced in because I was fairly inclined to town bin Luke. FF has both feet in this game now. She is hyper vigilant.

I am garbage at making decisions.

Grammarly says american's tend to use while, while Brits tend to use whilst. They're otherwise interchangeable.

We must induct.

Ivy, clasko, be honest. Are you both filthy imperialists with a mickey mouse accent or are you filthly imperialists that sound like the people on TV and in movies.

FF geographically profiled the people with funny voices across the ocean.
That's extremely scummy when you think about it.

I am being extremely cute with you, so I don't know where my adorableness is lacking. :? It's like you're ignoring it or something.

I'd think I was scum with demainer if I were scum just from associations. You or Hart, I don't think he's bussing.

What does that first line mean???
My goodness, where to even begin.
It all started with the difference between whilst and while and FF hypothesized through the power of tinfoil that, maybe, two players were scum instead of town based on that difference.
I said pattern recognition was dumb.
FF countered that, actually, being scared of everything is a good way not to die in the wilderness.
To which I looked up the difference of whilst and while and discovered that through linguistic analysis we had discovered the geographic locations of Brits and United states citizens through associations of word choice.
And FF said they were scum for it. Thus, geographical foreigners, THEM who are DIFFERENT from US.
And so I went back and realized that FF did a geographical racism through pattern recognition, like Chicago Police AI software(I am joking read till the end).

There is only one conclusion to be reached, FF is trying to divide us through categorization. She is sorting and identifying the elephants from the donkeys, The tories from the whigs, the VERTEBRATES FROM THE INVERTEBRATES.
SHE MEANS TO DIVIDE US. SHE IS SCUM.

But actually people's pattern recognition software sucks and I made an ironic joke.

Oh, I really am scum reading her. The field is incredibly narrow and I think she'd have town binned me by now if she was town. I find her play incredibly postury, her every move spelled out, AtE's that seem designed to shake me etc.. I also think she seems to be vacillating based on whether it looks like I'm scum reading her or not. Also, while I'm aware of the irony of it, replace outs tend to more likely be scum than town.

Please, please, please don't ask me to reference where I drew these conclusions come from, I don't have time for that.
Also I could totally be wrong and this could be one of those ultimate derps I sometimes do. I'm very tempted to try to talk it out and leave her alone, but I realize that's just nepotism and I'm not really interested in a rerun of Cabd calling me scum while I defend without striking back until it's too late.

What was that quote?

The Kingdom of Conscience will be exactly as it is now. Moralists don't really *have* beliefs. Sometimes they stumble on one, like on a child's toy left on the carpet. The toy must be put away immediately. And the child reprimanded. Centrism isn't change -- not even incremental change. It is *control*. Over yourself and the world. Exercise it. Look up at the sky, at the dark shapes of Coalition airships hanging there. Ask yourself: is there something sinister in moralism? And then answer: no. God is in his heaven. Everything is normal on Earth.

I.e., I am the one constant in the universe. Though, I actually thought I managed not to collapse in on myself like a black hole on entry.

I largely agree with FF about post game eval.

There's a tendency to omgus when being suspected or being placed back into the suspect pool. There's that sense of a loss of control.
Eventually you get a fairly good idea at which players are genuinely evaluating and reevaluating people and which players aren't. It was a town tell that FF was suspecting everyone, she was just doing her due diligence. I'm not sure if I would call it a mistake that she ruffled feathers. Or how she could have maneuvered to avoid that.
