Game Rules

2) Please keep the game civil and avoid personal attacks. Use of homophobic, racist, sexist, or any other derogatory slurs will not be tolerated.

5) You can talk about the game in the private threads given to you via PM, assuming you were given one. Otherwise, please refrain from talking about this game outside of this thread including platforms such as Discord servers, IM conversations, Whatsapp, social media etc. This is a sitewide rule. See announcement here.
6) Do not quote any private communication, including game-related PMs, instant messages, and private topics. Quoting timestamps from any private communication is also forbidden. Paraphrasing is allowed; quoting from public sources is also allowed
7) Do not edit or delete your posts in this thread. If there is a problem with a post, such as incorrect formatting, ask me to fix it for you.
8) Unless I have specifically told you it is allowed, do not talk about this game outside of this game thread until it is completed.
9) Do not use cryptography, invisible text, tiny text, or the like.
10) Do not use any form of provable randomness. Claiming you rolled dice and acting on that is fine. Using dice tags is not.
11) Do not bring outside factors into this game. This includes, among other things, making bets, promises of real life rewards, etc.
12) Claiming scum by yourself is fine. Claiming scum with others is not, regardless of the truth of this claim.
13) Pretending to break a rule will be treated the same as breaking the rule.
14) Do not use “
Trust Tell
”. Ex: One displays a specific kind of behavior that ensures their alignment. Using trust tells will get you mod-killed or even cause a site ban which depends on List mod’s decision.
15) Breaking one of these rules may, at my discretion & List mod consent, result in a mod-kill. If you are mod-killed, you will become a Neutral Survivor, and thus automatically lose. Mod-killing may or may not end the game day.
16) No set of rules can be all-encompassing. I reserve the right to take any action at any time, for any reason. However, I try to be extremely reasonable. If you have any questions about the game, rules, or players, please ask me via PM.
17) Flavor is for entertainment purposes only and has no significance in the game.
Day, Night, and Twilight:
18) Day 1 phase will last for 10 days and the rest of the day phases will last for 7 days or until elimination occurs, and each Night phase will last for two days.
19) Players may continue to talk in the game thread during Twilight, including the player that has been eliminated.
20) If you do not send me your Night action before the specified deadline, I will assume that you are not performing an action on that night.
21) If you know you will be unavailable during a Night phase, you may send me your night action during the preceding Day phase if you so desire.
22) Deadline extension requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
23) Factional abilities may be used alongside role abilities as long as the role ability doesn't specifically state otherwise.
Activity Rules
24) If a player goes 36 real-life hours without posting, they may be prodded at my discretion, or upon being asked by another player. Prods will be announced in the game thread.
25) If you receive a prod, you will have 24 hours to post in the game thread. If you do not respond to your prod within 24 hours, you will be replaced. Additionally, if I have to prod you three times, the third prod will be an automatic replacement.
26)If you are in or going to be V/LA, please alert me in the thread. Don't PM me, don't post in the V/LA thread, post in this thread. Otherwise, I'll probably prod and possibly replace you." That also has the nice advantage of stopping other people from asking for a prod; they know about the V/LA too
Voting Rules
27) For your vote to be counted, it must be bolded or in vote tags, like so: VOTE: ArcAngel or

If It looks like a vote it will be counted.

Keep all your votes in a new line, don't mix them in conversations or in statements.
30)Please refrain from engaging in any kind of voting trickery. If you try to abuse 29th rule (EX: Intentionally mixing your votes in sentences to test players in the game. This calls for disciplinary action).
31) An elimination will occur when a player achieves 50% +1 of the votes. When this has happened, any subsequent votes and unvotes will not be counted.
32) If a majority is not reached by the deadline, there will be no elimination on that Day.
33) Additional votes include VOTE: No elimination to end the Day with no elimination (which will also require a majority)
34) Once you're dead, you are dead. Do not post in the thread until the game is over. So, DON'T POST IN THE GAME THREAD WHEN YOU'RE DEAD.

35) I may be pretty close to perfect, but I do still make mistakes every now and then. If you notice an error with the vote counts, deadlines, or anything else related to the game, please let me know and I will correct the issue.
36) I have the right to not answer any role-related questions in the game thread. If you have any questions about your role, the (theoretical) roles of any other players in the game, or (theoretical) role interactions, send me a PM. Do not try to trick me into confirming a player's role. I will not be amused.
37) If you need to get my attention, just include @Mod or @Arch in your post. Also, bolding will help catch my eye.

Every legend is a tale and was built from real events. This is a tale of that one spine-tingling event that scared the world forever.
In Indian subcontinent during the late 16th century, there was a temple for Lord Ram and Mother Sita. The idols in the temple were said to be divine and dated back to “Treta Yuga” (An age before time).
During an Amavasya night (the dark moon lunar phase), a greedy and crooked priest stole the eye of Mother Sita – A blue diamond.
The touch of a crook contaminated Mother Sita’s idol and she was enraged and left the temple forever.
The goddess infuses a mythical curse on the blue diamond that whoever possessed the gem, will be destined to doom.
The priest was later killed by wild pack of dogs and torn into pieces. He was evidently dragged to hell.
This infamous Jewell is now called as “The Hope Diamond” also known for “Blood Diamond” and has become responsible for claiming many lives and bringing endless unfortunate to its possessors.
Hope diamond finally rests at Smithsonian museum and is not possessed by a person hence the curse is inactive. It draws several visitors every day, people are intrigued by its beauty and some even fear looking at it. People who work at Smithsonian avoid facing or touching it at all costs.
But history tends to repeat itself, someone from Smithsonian workers doesn’t believe in its legend and they believe it is foolish to keep $350 million dollars Jewell in a museum. Therefore, they did what they are not supposed to do.
The Hope diamond has been robbed by the workers of Smithsonian.
You will need to find the culprit and replace it in its resting place.

The most dangerous diamond in the world is now missing in the museum. Everyone is on the lookout. Some are scared by it but others see the value in it, because they simply didn't believe in the legend.
RegRider is the most loving colleague of the museum staff. He wanted to find the diamond and return it to the museum. He searched hard for it. He knew that whoever has stolen the hope diamond must have hidden it within the museum as alarms went off immediately after it was stolen.
He wanted to inspect the crime scene. He goes into the diamond chamber and inspects the empty podium. He places his hand on top of the holder where once the diamond existed.
He heard a hissing sound, he turns back to see what it is. And, RegRider - the beloved town member of the museum fell off the ground and dies immediately.
A vicious cobra hisses and leaves the chamber!!!
