(1) your initial reads don’t need to be confirmed on like page 3. They’re not negated by NAI elements. They’re just that - initial reads. Look at how the rest of the day pans out to see if they nudge you one way or another.

(2) there will be no quick hammer this early. If someone hammers at this point, they will be voted out tomorrow. Genuinely if scum do that then they’re just giving us a huge advantage.

(3) don’t give people reasons for their scummy actions. Let them explain themselves. If you’re not scum paired with icet then you have no reason to excuse their behaviour. Leave the vote until they respond - by explaining it away and unvoting you’ve neutralised your own pressure and therefore your own ability to townhunt (row hunting is underrated)

(4) you don’t need someone’s exact username to vote them so don’t worry about getting it exactly right. For example, since you’re more sus of me right now, you should vote me and just tag me as AV or Vox or Aurorus, and any of those will be counted.

(5) it’s nicer to end lists on odd numbers

None of what I said is really site meta. It's a scum tell I've committed myself and seen others do on multiple sites, and even in other mafia-adjacent games. Acting like a typical townie and then bringing attention to how townie you're acting isn't a super secret strategy.

Can't speak for your playstyle obviously, but I think it's pretty common for scum to be very reluctant to be the hammering vote on a townflip as inevitably their vote holds a little more weight and 'blame' than others.

remember that this is a Newbie game and as such, the inconsistencies are not always usually by the scum, it can also be attributed to newbie citizens.

on this: while the point about this being a newbie game is fair, inconsistency is very commonly attributed with scumminess
as i stated previously, town often tends to be very consistent in their posting style, opinions, etc., because they post whatever they want. because they're town they don't have to worry about all the things mafia does, like being falsely inconsistent, pushing the correct wagons, or having to check over their posts.
mafia, on the other hand, tries VERY very hard to be consistent, but often slips up because it's false consistency. they don't mean anything in a genuine manner because they're the informed minority and already know everything.
