sorry if i stepped over the line a little. the second one was just poking fun at him since i had already explained the king mechanics
Lol, typical scum to think that every critical mention is against them. That was a generalised comment buddy, don't see what prompted an apology from you. Unless of course you are feeling guilty for some reason.
sounds like you are picking out individual posts and not actually reading the thread? the mod comment was obviously prompted by my actions.

Now as for the lynch, you can vote anyone but me or Smithereens. After 36 hours, everyone who lacks a vote will not be the lynch. Any wagon reaching hammer will be the lynch. I will not have a vote for these purposes but I function as a bad wagon vetoed (which I plan to use sparingly, basically if a wagon is driven only by fallacies or insults).
Good luck.
you might have good intentions but this seems like pandering. i fully expect you to execute who you feel is the best lynch, and have some logic behind your decision. if you dont, i will autoassume you are scum.

He just doesn't seem interested in the game.
Maybe not alignment indicative? Who knows.
reads like an ever-convenient vague impression that someone who is being wagoned is scum

titus, if you use votes to get reads thats fine... its half the reason i thought that a VC would help encourage action. but if you lynch someone you dont think is scum, why should anyone interperate that as a pro town move? the whole advantage of a correctly chosen king is nullifying mafias innfluence on the lynch. if you are town i expect you to play pro town and use that advantage... not cop out to a majority consensus so you can avert blame later

this implies that i had to find a reason, and its fairly obvious in context that i was indeed being sarcastic.
In post 166, Soft-spoken wrote:spiffeh, can you explain your TR on me? it stands out as a stark contrast to the poking people with twigs thing you have been doing otherwise.
Why didnt you ask me about my townread on you and only spiffeh?
because you arnt suspecious of most of the playerlist... unless i missed that
I want Smithereens to respond what they think about Spiffeh. A lot of people have come forward and said they thought Spiffeh was doubtcasting(Titus said he was doubtcasting, Firebringer thought he was pushing on Smith, softspoken said he was poking with twigs), what do you think of that?
its not thati claim to know his intent behind the playstyle. but a spade is a spade.
"doubtcasting" implies intent
poking with twigs just describes what he is doing.
i dont typically play (and have never finished 1 on this site) games larger than 9 players, and the advice given to me to cope with bigger playerlists early in the game was to focus on 2 or 3 players. until you engaged me with this i was largely ignoring you

spif, i think its more like you are universally being jumped on. how many people actually scumread spiffeh?
from my point of view its likely that this is one of those games where town is at each others throats while scum is sitting there with a shit eating grin... and we are about to conftown everyone involved and lynch scum.
In post 166, Soft-spoken wrote:spiffeh, can you explain your TR on me? it stands out as a stark contrast to the poking people with twigs thing you have been doing otherwise.
It's mostly gut and I didn't like how you seemed to be universally scum read at the time for some ridiculous reason.
right, but you said it so confidently, x is town feels absolute... id think there was more than just a blanket hunch.

im not attacking at all. the substance is obviously bad... im honestly curious if he is too young to be reasoned with or "too old to learn" because im considering telling blocky why he is fundamentally wrong and dont want to waste my breath if i should just be ignoring him

i eagerly await your third warning if thats what you consider an attack. i asked a simple question, didnt get a reply, and poked at him further to try to get an answer. please dont play mother figure to someone who isnt contributing while im trying to get him to engage the game. also, you asked a question he answered a long time ago and obviously doesn't plan to expand on. not much help.

sooo.... i started posting when i just woke up which might be a mistake... but despite how that may look when i take a step back and look at it objectively.
from my point of view... I was trying to engage someone who hasnt put forth any actual content. my lines of questioning were limited as the only relevant line of questioning had already been answered in a way that made me feel like he had a linear thought process. i resorted to ad-hom to try to get a rise out of him and i ended up getting a retort from you instead of him... which kinda fucking ruins the point. please dont defend someone before a dialogue has even devoloped.

In post 303, texcat wrote:A lot of Smithereen's posts seem to be nitpicking for the sake of nitpicking
as i mentioned briefly earlier. i am a fan of the nitpicking strat. its effective as town to start the ball rolling with in depth dialogue, and its effective as scum in an already developed game to entice defensiveness, which seems to be considered scummy in some circles
seeing as how the nitpicking started early in the heap of actual conversations... and that most of the substance in this game kinda snowballed out of that, id say it looks more pro town than anything.
I would certainly like to hear more from Blocky. The attack from Soft-Spoken, in spite of the warnings from King Titus, seemed to give Blocky an excuse to run away and not answer. I can't help but wonder if that was intentional.
blocky didnt need my help to contribute nothing. it has been a staple of his play all game. he actually did express his reasons for voting me. they are easy to find because his iso is small, and they dont have much depth or thought behind them. even if he came back to explain i could hardly imagine any way he could justify his reasons and frame them with scum motive. i tried to force him to engage by being a little aggressive.

i feel the same way.. but theres others that fit this profile, and there is something more to text that i cant put a finger on.

did nobody pick up on the fact that spiffehs initially unstated reasons for titus suspicion were contextually obvious because they came right after my interaction with Titus where i confronted him about people pleasing?
also worth noting is that the people pleasing content was right in front of everyones eyes, but spiffeh didn't take offense until i opened that discussion. he posted in between the time titus was talking about a democracy format for her kingship and the time i confronted titus with no mention of it.
so maybe a more relevant question about the suspicion of titus would be something like...
what in that conversation gave you bad vibes about titus?
