There is a large majority of people who have agreed to the massclaim and have claimed and to refuse like this is anti-town and they should be lynched for it. At this point it's too late to decide to not mass claim and it's not helpful for any1 for them to repeatedly refuse to do so and play this way.

I try to avoid open set ups like the plague but there is ALWAYS some1 who thinks they have a gamebreaking strategy and the next thing you know the game is over, town lost and a bunch of pple are wandering around going "oh how did that happen". all it does is create 1 gigantic d1 mess, pple are picking up on false positives, you aren't playing the tape all the way through and you aren't asking yourself why do you think scum wld think this is a good idea. show me a game ON THIS SITE where d1 mass claim worked out and then mebbe I will listen. until then no.

All town randoms would have to be government for no scum to be in the mix
This would make no two claims that does not conflict a non-random slot town
Two of [smith, yakko, jelly] and two of [fire, kraeg, savant] cannot be town

well I have 1 or 2 completed marathon games with him and 1 completed game with him as a hydra so i don't have much experience with him either but I will tell you my assessment of him.

I think it sucks to be modconfirmed town and a lot of pple are going to be playing to him which will scumhunting a bit more difficult for im. so wat does e need? support. so what are mario's strengths? I have noticed that he has good towndar so he is some1 that I will be paying attention to as far as his townreads go. I think his weakest area is that I don't think he is super confident. he is still relatively new and is still finding his voice in games. he is pretty smart and he is definitely some1 that I wld trust in games as far competency goes.

how many times have we seen the IC left alive or endgamed? lots, lately. so mario needs a friend, some1 he can lean on in case he is left alive, so who wld be a good friend for mario to have? some1 strong and well grounded which makes me think of froggy but froggy is indie and mario more than likely needs a town friend in order to stay the course and sort the game out. so who else is there? I think yakko wld make a good friend.

so the criteria for mario's town friend is:

1. strong and supportive
2. lend him some confidence so that he can feel really good with a shitty role
3. likely to be around for awhile (that leaves me out)
4. open to working with him and listening to him.
5. has a sense of humour and will make it fun for him

and I do this with every player in the game. game management is about seeing the entire game as a whole. the beginning, the middle, the end. who is likely to die early? who will be able to work together? who has strong endgame skills? who has strong beginning of the game skills? who is likely to get apathetic midgame and fizzle out? who is likely to be endgamed?

this is what I mean by playing the tape all the way through. you lose a lot of dynamics when you massclaim on d1 and while it wld be wonderful if I trusted every single town player in this game the truth is that I do not trust pple to not get derpy and lose the game. and I personally like winning.

It really doesn't matter if you think mass claim is a bad idea at this point. The majority of players have already claimed so by leaving one or two individuals with room to move around with their claim only benefits the mafia. You've already told us you're opposed to mass claims, fair enough, but I expect you to align your behaviour with what would benefit town circumstantially and not on what you believe on principle. In this instance, you not claiming is information that the mafia can obtain via PoE and information that the town will never know. So it's really in our best interests to make you talk at this point.

On another note, this game is becoming like kingsmaker, where one guy is determining the lynch. I strongly disapprove, as Mario doesn't appear to be making much effort to utilise the reads and information of others. Ideally buddy you should be asking the most questions out of everyone here.. You're going to be a liability if you lynch three townies in rapid fire and then we lose two in the night thanks to all these killing roles.

is a bad idea. the last game I was in where pple got the bright idea claim early (d2), do you know who benefited the most from it? scum. do you know who won that game? scum. do you know who was town in that game? my hydra, singer, glork, quadz and ut. and lets just say that I trust them to break a game ON THIS SITE before I wld you and fire, no offence intended. its 1 of those things that look good on paper and probably isn't a horrible strategy early in the game but if you 2 die, who do you think will most likely be left to follow through? a bunch of pple who have NOT played this kind of set up before and will not know what to look for. not to mention replace outs, etc etc.

I feel like this game is a bit scum-sided and pple need to slow down and think long term strategy. giving scum that much info this early is a mistake, they just use the list to simplify their nk choices, it removes the ability to do a proper nka and it throws up a lot of false positives which I feel has been done already. what worked on you guys homesite will not necessarily work on this site because ms town will find some way to derp it up I guarantee it. I am not trying to be contrary here but hippy and I know the site meta and massclaiming prematurely has historically led to town losses.
