probably needs tweaks for balance and stuff but i like this concept, and was wondering how fun/unfun others would find this mechanic

tweaks i'm considering and would like some input on:
- guns and bombs could be disabled in elo maybe?
- maybe make the present a two-shot thing? idk

Premise

Oh no! The
Bad Kids
have deleted the naughty list.
Ole Saint Nick
will have to resort to some rather...
unconventional
techniques this year.

Roles

1 Ole Saint Nick
8 Good Kids

2 Bad Kids


Setup Info

-
Ole Saint Nick
is aligned with the
Good Kids
(the town).
- Each night,
Ole Saint Nick
may target any of the other players to give them a
Gun
or a
Bomb
.
- Either option will result in the target receiving a
Present
, but the target will not know if it's a
Gun
or a
Bomb
.
- Additionally, at the start of each day, the moderator will announce the recipient of the
Present
.
- The recipient of the
Present
may open it at any time by posting "
Open Present
" (in bold) in the game thread.
- If the recipient opens a
Bomb
, they will die instantly, and the day will continue with the vote count reset.
- If the recipient opens a
Gun
, they will receive one
Day Vig
.
- A
Day Vig
may be used by posting "
Shoot: {Player}
" (in bold) in the game thread. This instantly kills the targeted player, and the day will continue with the vote count reset.
- The
Bad Kids
(mafia) have a private thread (with day-talk) and a factional kill they may use each night.
- This game starts on a day phase (aka day-start) and uses majority vote elimination mechanics (which is typical of most games).

. No players, aside from you, will know what is inside the

. The recipient of the

what if i removed the announcement of the recipient? so only the recipient and OSN (ole saint nick) know? would open up more interesting claiming situations and make the game slightly harder for town
