See, now I have to guess that you're talking about the movie versions of said characters, which means WHY THE HELL DON'T YOU JUST SAY THE ACTOR HAS NICE ABS? Give credit where due. Incidentally, even if I were to fantasize over Twilight characters, I could never on Taylor Lautner. I keep seeing this when I look at his face:
He'll forever be a kid in my eyes, and I'm no pedo.-

Bella is an empty shell of a character with all of 3 words attributed to her description. Two of which are probably 'horrendously clumsy'. No clue who Alice is, but the main point here was that there was never any room for a male gaze in this personal fantasy.Espeonage wrote:Question: Why was there no team Bella or even better team Alice?-

I'm fine with them so far. They seem pretty even at a glance, at least. I think it's pretty clear that the applications were used to determine the tribes, with as much matches as possible. Of course this can never be perfect so there are people on each tribe that got stuck with the wrong Twatlight or fried food. C'est la vie.Chevre wrote:Cybele, how do you feel about the newly-created tribes? How do you think they were decided?-

It's greek. Think of how Aphrodite, Persephone, Poseidon are all pronounced. It's not anglocized, I'm afraid.xRECKONERx wrote:

Meh. I have to admit I'm particularly concerned one way or another - especially after hearing their reason for it.Chevre wrote:Cybele, how do you feel abouthorrordude0215, who used to be a member of the, being theBlue Tribe’s decision to sit out of the challenge?Orange Tribe
Really, though, this challenge was little more than luck-based. It wouldn't have mattered who they picked.-

The game is stalled regardless. Chevre is gone until the 18th. Nothing happens until then. The only people who have anything to do are Drench and diginova, and as soon as Chevre returns, we will continue.
Relax, and realize that you're just going to have to wait it out. If the picks all ended tonight, you'd still be waiting until the 18th.-

That is exactly my point. If Drench's plan is to have the tribes randomized, then he's entitled to that. He was left in charge of it, so props to him. The fact that everything will be wrapped up when Chevre comes back, one way or another, means that the game isn't really being stalled by Drench not picking right now. We'll continue at exactly the same time either way.-

I'm not implying it. Animo implied it, or rather, accused it. I'm merely arguing that if that were the case he'd have every right to do so, so animo should just sit down and shut up. Tribes get picked either way. The game moves on either way. It's completely out of animo's hands, my hands, your hands - if that's what Drench and diginova decide.-

Well, to be fair, I only mentioned the sit down/shut up in the last post (perhaps a result of a bit of ire). My original intention was just to defend Drench whatever his decision may be, because he's done nothing wrong. I suppose I should have made more effort to mention the sheer unlikelihood that he is actually stalling. It's not been that long. There's still plenty of time. Animo needs to be patient, and it's not like the mod is going to prod anyone, since she's away.
You're all making the assumption that this is because Drench plans to wait 5 days to do nothing, with no proof to show for it.-

Ah, thought it was 3 that did not submit. Point stands. We shouldn't assume they're going to shoot themselves in the foot, but that they'll play optimally. Therefore, we should seize every opportunity for an advantage. This can still be turned against us. It would have been better for us if BB went higher as well.-

I think people are going to want to start thinking twice before:Chevre wrote:Cybele, how does your game change now that all eliminated castaways become members of the jury?
- Lying directly to a player's face
- Backstabbing and double-dealing
- Attempting to string another player up as a scapegoat
- Other shit that will just make them look like an ass
regardless of whether they think they can get an advantage out of it. Pissing off the jury is a bad idea.-
