Yeah, seconds should be required, but I think people should be allowed to go as far as they want to show support for a nominee.

Well TECHNICALLY they can, it's just not recorded. What would happen if someone got tenthed? And yes, this happens.

@Tragedy, ani, DonJosh, inspi, kiwi: I'm not going to refuse a scummie if it's given to me, but if I were you, I'd withdraw those nominations/seconds/thirds of me and my game.

Firstly, the game has had many issues throughout. Some you've seen, some you haven't, but rest assured this game is a long way from perfect. Second, scummies require a game to be finished within the year. There is a very real chance Planet MafiaScum will not be over in time anyway. Thirdly, as I explained in the thread, my modding is likely to go downhill over the next few weeks. So ultimately, if I were to win one or both of these scummies, I would feel like I didn't really deserve them. I won't stop you nominating me, but that's my view.

Provided nothing goes very badly wrong, I fully intend to run Planet MafiaScum again, with overhauled mechanics and more structure behind the scenes. Perhaps that will be worthy of a scummie. We'll see.

On a semi-related note, are the judges going to have to read through 240+ pages of assorted spending, warring, and politic'ing? That could be... interesting...

The game was extremely fun, incredibly well-thought-out, and pretty innovative, in my opinion.
