I want to
nominate BorkJerfkin for Excellent Moderation
. I am sure there are other games that showcase his dedication to making the players' game experience enjoyable and well informed, but Micro 158 Borkgame, Newbie 1358 Bisquik, and above all the themed game Xenoblade were all moderated with excellence, flair and humor. Sometimes the players were going through tons of pages per day. The vote counts were timely, the attention to questions was prompt, and the flavor was awesome. I watch the queues for his games because I know they will be awesome.

The game mechanics were amazing, puzzling, frustrating, and just plain mind blowing.

Second Bork for Xenogears/saga flavor.
He's an awesome mod, who provided excellently-written flavor which felt right on the mark. When faced with unexpected situations, he even improvised patches for flavor situations he hadn't anticipated needing, and nobody could tell the difference without him telling them that he was improvising. :P

Buuut...that's not the award I think is most memorable about that game.
Nth

Nominate the town of Xenogears Mafia for best performance: town.
The game was a massive, MASSIVE success for the town. Everyone worked together well as a team, synchronizing reads, correctly identifying town play, and working together as a near-flawless unit to lynch four scum in five days. Even in the single mislynch breaking that streak, the town managed to use it well, with nick's mislynch serving to help corner the scum. Even the roles were used well. Town players picked up on town 'crumbs, while the scum players were completely blindsided by them, unable to pick them out. Solid nightplay with their actions cornered the scum even further, both by reducing the mislynch pool and by outting another scum. The town's performance dipped a bit thanks to paranoia (and deviation from a game-breaking strategy), but still pulled out the win despite the strong play of the last surviving scum.

It was all-around a well-deserved overall victory.
Nth

Nominate that same game, Xenogears Mafia, for Most Enjoyable.
Seriously, everything there was good. It was a blast to play, it was a blast to be dead in, it was all-around an awesome game. Almost nothing could have been better about that game, and it was all-around a seriously fun game. Bork delivered a perfect experience, enhanced by the players making it a game that was good to be in, and good to play in.
Totally Nth
, especially the blast to be dead in part, since I spent most of the game being dead!
Nominate borkjerfkin for excellent moderation.
That same game as an example. Seriously. Zoraster has him as the highest-rated theme game mod--HE'S EARNED IT! There's virtually nothing he could do better. Awesome at votecounts, awesome at replacements, awesome at flavor, at setup, at...everything. He delivers a good game consistently, and is probably legitimately one of the best mods on the site, and I can't believe nobody's done this yet. :P

nominate zMuffinMan for most cunning manipulator

in the two times i have played with him as scum, he has been pretty much universally townread by all. I can't remember a single suspicion of him during Death's Diner, and in his most recent game (Touhou) he was outstanding. pretty much deserves this nomination, in my opinion.
In the Death's Diner game, he actually replaced into a suspicious slot that was already up for lynch, was the leading bandwagon for a while and argued his way out of it so thoroughly that he was never really suspected again.

Nominate Bulbazac for Best 3rd Party performance for his performance as the serial killer in Open 490 - Donner Party Mafia

I would have put this nomination in months ago if I had realized an award exists for 3rd party performances at the time.

Bulba replaced into the role at the end of day 1 and played a stunning game both during the day phase in the game thread and perhaps even more importantly in the night phase. By the final days of the game, he was the only player in the game who knew how badly things had gone for town since the format was no-reveal on night kills and town didn't manage to lynch a single non-town member until lylo (more about that in a bit).

On night 1, he killed the Town Vig. On night 2, he killed the Town Dietitian. On night 3, he killed one member of the mafia team. And on day 4, though I suspected I was in a kingmaker situation, only Bulba and the remaining mafia player knew that for a fact. He built a rock solid case on the last scum player and I made the only logical choice, hoping that one of the janitored night kills had been the SK.

He's suffered from the paranoia this win generated ever since. Not just my paranoia. I've seen this performance and win brought up in games by people who didn't even play the game. I hope this nomination in some small way makes up for the steep climb he set himself up for in later games.
