I was going to discuss hood distribution and say how it pointed out to Ausuka being more likely town otherwise there would be 3 scum and 1 townie in a hood, but...I'm not sure where I got that idea from, no matter who is the last scum in Ausuka/DeasVail it's still a 2:1:0 distribution of scum

I believe that the 2:1:0 distribution was that so the scum didn't automatically know who the VT was. I probably should have thought of this theory earlier but everything is easier on hindsight. It was never going to be a 1:1:1 distribution or the scum would know who the confirmed town was from the get-go.

It's not really a matter of Ausuka being so town that I can't see her being scum ever, it's just the same issue of a [Freedom/DeasVail] dilemma:

DeasVail is just objectively scummier in my opinion.

The interactions that DeasVail & Koba have between them, this "calling each other sus but not pursuing" thing is just WAY more statistically likely to come from scum than Ausuka & Koba interactions, where Koba kept hard defending Ausuka at all costs, even when no one was attacking Ausuka.

There has been rare cases where scum whiteknights their partner, but it's very rare, and it's also rarely AS HARD as it was here.

I had almost the entire scum team in the bottom tier in D2, before any guilties or quickhammer shenanigans, before anyone believed it was DeasVail/Koba/Mastina, and that was before we also knew who the roleblocker was and their alignment to townlean Mala.

I was very skeptical of trusting my tunnels here from the start because in the past 3 or 4 games that didn't work out so well, either I got only part of the scum team right or in one case I was just wrong for the entire game.

I expressed a lot of paranoia about being potentially wrong on this game in the team chat but I've always been like this, I often (or never?) release my personal PTs but I always get paranoid of being wrong (I was secretly afraid of MariaR being town in the Dance Game or Norwee being scum in the White Flag at some point).

However there was no universe where I wouldn't kill Mastina here in the end as long as I was left alive and it was why I was so surprised to see myself alive at D5 as well...I think it was a huge mistake to not nightkill me and try to win with a final xof lim even if they had a guilty on the scum.

Like, I just want to make clear that DeasVail/Koba/Mastina is actually very close to the solve I had at the start of D2 before any of the shenanigans that happened in this game, happened at all.

Ali/Norwee certainly helped me to not give in to my paranoia and lack of confidence due to my recent underperforming town games (even though 2/4 of them weren't quite *that* underperforming I guess? But I've high standards)

Koba quickhammering did wonders to confirm to me that I should kill them in the next day even before the guilty and I said so in the hood/team chat too

and Mastina's wonky actions were also pretty puzzling and made me think the game just made the most sense by all angles if she was scum eventually, even though it was just so horribly scummy to the point that it almost made me think it was too obvious at some points

But honestly I do think I would probably still find myself with the same solve even if none of the above happened given it was where I was getting around from D2 anyway.

Eh I really think you didn't cross any lines, not even close really so I don't see why you should worry. I was just a bit surprised on the AtE tactic because I didn't know it as a fact before reading this scum PT, but it seemed to be something you would do more as town rather than scum, but I ultimately chalked it up to it being TM and there being a higher incentive to win the game.

So I kinda began to engage on the AtE considering a town!Mastina pov just in case you were ever town because I thought it was simply unfair to put that hypothetical game loss all on me and didn't want to be in a "let's blame shirou" endgame if it was

I think Shirou vs Mastina was just more like a...crazy spamfest that bored/annoyed people more than anything heinous or that "crossed lines", when I said "toxic" back there I was meaning it as more like "something people probably don't want to read lol" versus "something actually damaging whatsoever to anyone in this case specifically"

If I'd been in the game though, I might have suspected you for this, but only as a joke. Because... Albedo? Your sole male five star is Albedo?
And you got him to be a geo support
, instead of Zhongli, the freaking invincible god of geo? And besides geo, there is Kaedehara Kazuha for anemo. These two get often ranked as two of the universally best characters in the game. I never got Albedo myself, I just found him so bland, and I've never run a geo team.

I'm not sure how long you've been around in Genshin, but I'm a 1.0 player (and I even used to follow the betas way back in 2018 or so! Did you know that in the first beta Anemo was able to be applied into enemies?!). I rolled Albedo in 1.2, and back then it was "pre-buff" Zhongli. Zhongli was so disappointing at release that everyone was meming him compared to Venti (which was truly GODLY to group the enemies in the first abysses), his shield was not that stronger than Diona and she could also double as a healer. Albedo completely outclassed him as a geo support at 1.2 version.

It was greatly memed when the community in general complained so much about Zhongli that Mihoyo decided to buff him, but also buffed the WHOLE geo element (added geo res shred to his shield and to geo's resonance, because we had no way to lower geo res before). I think people already referred to him as "CEO OF GEO", but when he single-handedly saved the element every geo main his title was truly cemented.

However *anyway*, Albedo is actually a better support for Noelle specifically because she does not need another shield (she can generate her own and also heal after all) and she would rather benefit from more damage. He also has better energy generation for her I believe. I would say Albedo is better for geo teams but worse for non-geo teams compared to Zhongli.

From 1.0 when I refused to pull Venti just to have a good anemo grouper that is very necessary in some fights (Sucrose is okay but just not the best), I've also refused to pull Kazuha with even more passion even though he would be amazing for my Ayaka team.

Yes...after almost 3 years...I'm still waiting for a good 4 star new anemo grouper. (which I don't think we'll ever get by this point)
