SUPER AWESOME RULE POST TO DESTROY ALL RULE POSTS THAT HAVE EVER OR WILL EVER BE WRITTEN

Listen folks, I have a bit of a caveat about how these rules should be read. There are some rules that I have that are absolutely not to be broken. The rest of the the "rules" fall more under the realm of suggestions and advice. I will group them accordingly so you know what you can and cannot bend to your will. The etiquette rules are things that I think will make the game more fun for everyone involved, but except in extreme cases will not get you modkilled or force-replaced. I'm not writing these things down to read my own writing. These are for you and they're my advice/mandates for how to enjoy this game/setup/playerlist/moderator. However, first I will post two lists of things:

What you can expect from me:

1. 48-72 hour nights (depending on my schedule).
2. 3 week deadline the first day. 2 week deadline the second day. 12 day deadline the third day. 7 day deadline the fourth day. 4 day deadlines after that (if necessary).
3. A votecount at the top of every few pages.
4. A dick in every butt.
5. Flavor.

What I expect from you:

1. A positive game environment.
2. Night choices by deadline of the night. If you miss the deadline, your nightchoice gets determined by random.org. You don't want that to happen.
3. Notification if you go V/LA.
4. Playing to your win condition.
5. Nude pictures.

Part I. Rules you absolutely cannot break:

1.

Absolutely no quoting communications between you and me. Beyond the fact that this is a standard rule, I will release all of the role PMs at the end of the game, so I'd prefer for it to not get out early, y'know? Don't do it.

2.

You must post at least once per game day. If you fail to post for an entire day (barring extenuating circumstances, such as an extreme speed-wagon) I will force-replace your slot.

3.

Your votes must appear in the form "vote InsertPlayerNameHere". I know it seems obvious, but I just want to be absolutely clear.

4.

No discussion on this game outside of approved venues. I will let you know in PM who you can discuss the game with and where.

5.

You get three prods before I force-replace you.

6.

Play to your win condition. I hope this one doesn't actually require a reminder. If you don't do this, the consequences will be...

dire.

7.

Dead people do not talk after they are dead. If a lynch majority is reached on you, you do not get to post after the deciding vote. If you die during the night, you may make a bah post that says either "oh fiddlesticks!" or "flaming cock rocket!". If those options do not suit you, then do not make a bah post. I hope this doesn't cramp your style, but I think it's easier than having to worry about people accidentally revealing more than I would like them to. You'll have plenty of time to discuss the game afterwards.

These are suggestions that I would like you to observe, but I'm not going to get my panties in a bunch if you don't. They just make my life easier and [hopefully] the game more fun for you.

Part II. Voting Etiquette:

1.

Unvote before you move your vote.

2.

I don't really care whether or not you use the VOTE: tag or the bold tag, but please use one of the two.

3.

When possible, put your vote either at the beginning of a paragraph, the end of a paragraph, or on its own separate line. It's not a huge deal, but I'm a lot less likely to miss it if you do it this way.

4.

If you abbreviate a name in a vote, make sure I can tell who you're voting for.

Part III. Posting Etiquette:

1.

If you want to do an EBWOP thing, make a post detailing what you want the edit to be. I will edit it into your original post. I will then edit your EBWOP post to a picture of a cute baby animal or something so as to not mess up post numbering. If you mess up quote tags, I will fix them for you without you having to ask. I will however be keeping score of how often I have to fix stuff for you guys.

2.

Making a series of small posts instead of one mammoth post is a polite thing to do. That being said: please don't inflate your post total with a bajillion contentless posts.

3.

Don't use small text or anything intended to hide text.

4.

If I edit one of your posts, I will use

this color

. Do not use that color or I will edit it out and send you a bitchy PM.

Part IV. Game Etiquette:

1.

In games, I much prefer a fellow player to do one good post a day than four or five weak ones. Please do not post for the sake of posting.

2.

Don't be a dick. You won't get modkilled for it or anything, I'm just asking you to not do it. It's just a game, after all.

3.

Just so you know, the roles in this game were chosen in such a manner as to prevent a mass-claim breaking it. That being said, please do not try to break the game with a D1 mass-claim or other such similar bullshit. I waited a long time to mod this game and spent a lot of time planning it. That is not fun for anyone.

4.

Everyone plays this game differently. Try to remember that.

Part V. Activity:

1.

I will be reading the game. If you make a large number of "I'll catch up soon, guize" posts, I will contact you to make sure you have time for the game.

2.

If you guys think a player needs a prod, let me know. I'll prod the player.

Part VI. Interacting With Me:

1.

If I make a mistake in my vote counts PLEASE TELL ME.

2.

If you have a question for me, feel free to PM me and I'll answer to the best of my ability.

3.

If you have a problem with something I'm doing or a problem with another player that you can't resolve in-thread, PM me about it.

4.

If the flow of the game, the flavor, your life, whatever makes playing this game impossible for you, let me know and I'll replace you. No hard feelings.

FRYLOCK. Someone didn't shut it. They actually did quite the opposite. They ripped him in half. Then fed one half to a rabid wolverine and cooked the other half into burgers for homeless people.

SHAKE, distraught, sits with mouth agape as Frylock looks on angrily.

FRYLOCK. Shake, turn the damn TV off. This is serious!
