General Rules:

1. No excessive swearing, attacks, etc. Be civil, its just a game.
2. Players are not allowed to communicate outside the thread at any time unless their PM says so.
3. Do not edit posts.
4. Once you are dead, you are allowed one Bah! post. It should be short and should contain absolutely no game related opinion or information.
5. You may not quote any private communication with me.
6. Do not post in small font, white text, spoiler tags, or any other form of hidden message. You may not post in any language other than English.
7. Play to your win condition.
8. Do not reference ongoing games. You may reference completed games, not current ones.

14. Once a lynching majority has been reached, the game will go into twilight. You may continue to talk during twilight until I get to locking the thread, but no votes or unvotes will be counted.
15. You may also vote for no lynch to happen on that day by typing

. A no-lynch requires half the living players to vote for it.
16. A full majority (not half) is necessary for a lynch at deadline.
17. If a majority has not been reached by the deadline, a no-lynch will occur, and the game will go into night.
18. Each day will have three-week deadlines. Extensions will be considered based on circumstances.
19. Night lasts for 48 HOURS UNLESS I GET REQUEST FOR EXTENSION, but might be extended if I need a replacement. The day will not start early even if I have all night actions in.
20. If a player fails to post for 72 consecutive hours, he will be prodded. If that player does not post for another 48 hours after he's been prodded, he'll be replaced.
21. Prods are available upon request. I'll still issue an official prod at the 72 hour mark, though.
22. If you are going away, or if you have limited access to the site, notify me in-topic so that I know not to prod or replace you and that the others know you are gone. If you're going to be V/LA over the night phase and have a night action, you may send in your action early. Night actions that are not sent in will result in no action unless a player has a mandatory night action. If not sent in, this will be randomized.

In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a group of Jewish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" are chosen specifically to spread fear throughout the Third Reich by scalping and brutally killing Nazis. They get help from certain characters along the way. However finding a Nazi isn't as simple as finding a swatstika carved upon someone's head. It takes wit, valor, and maybe a good bandwagon or two. The war is almost over, but it would be unjust to allow these Nazi killers to escape to a remote area or go through years of tribunals only to be let free. The only justice is DEATH.

To get an idea of peoples' knowledge of the flavor to see if people will be able to understand what characters would be good or bad if people nameclaim and such. I didn't know the flavor of X-Files mafia and wish that I had.
