Condemner Treestump looks like a way out for the Condemner to survive until the target can be eliminated if under suspicion or threat of death. If the Condemner is publicly flipped then we have someone who is supposed to post but is pretty much someone who doesn't want to post. If not, then it is an unreasonably powerful version of Condemner.
Either way, a no to that.
The dayvig is an IC which sounds good at the moment until you realize that it could be used Day 1 on a person who didn't post yet. Especially because the one is conftown. And if there is one really unfun part of a game then it is being already dead Day 1 when you wake up from sleep.
So, a no to that, too.
The rest isn't great either, so I'd say we pick one of the Vanilla Townies, because a good game needs some.

No, it is not. Town role that rewards town on being eliminated? No.
It is not a role that triggers when killed at night, that would be better, but this.. no.
And to clarify: The role says that it only triggers on eliminations(it actually uses the L-word); so Cook's description is incorrect.

That we might occasionally stumble upon a page with the best role being vanilla is nothing bad or surprising. Without vanilla, Vanilla Cops have no use, for example.
The Condemner is a bit too powerful if the flip is not revealed and there is another treestump in the list. If not, then we have the "role that doesn't want to post" problem that is enjoyable for exactly no one. We want to get good roles, not unfun roles.
If we compare the short-lived excitement about being able to kill someone at day without being suspected, and doing it, against the possible regrets and the definitely unfun part of being removed Day 1 possibly extremely early... then the IC 1-shot dayvig becomes a net unfun role.

I looked at the gidea thread and apparently dolphin is a compulsive superstar, not an ic/gc. Still not an exciting role, but my original point of there being a lot of hot garbage in that thread stands.

That's why this thread exists - because hot garbage is in the Grand Idea thread.
