Love is many splendored thing. Or it was at least. Back in the 50's maybe. How times change. The first sign that the next generation weren't quite as loved up as their predecessors had come when some unsuspecting binman had found a body in binbag on his rounds, the body of someone who was no longer alive, and by the look of vacant surprise hadn't been the one who had planted the knife in his own heart. Something had to be done. Even those who were smitten by love were no longer sure whether they could trust one another. The one thing everyone agreed on was that most obvious solution was a public vote.

The Rules

(my own version of a couple of other players)

1. Mafia is a team game. Play to win.

2. No editing or deleting posts.

3. Don't talk to other players outside the game thread unless your Role PM states specifically that you can. Only use the channels provided.

4. Role PMs are posted at the start of the topic. Feel free to quote those as necessary.

5. Vote for a player to be lynched by using the

Vote: Mr.Sandman

format. Using

unvote

would be nice but is not necessary.

6. Days will last 3 weeks. Nights will last up to 72 hours, but may be cut short if I get all actions in before then. There will be no deadline extensions.

7. A lynch always requires a majority (50% rounded down + 1) vote.

8. Do not reference ongoing games.

9. You may also vote no lynch. A no lynch will occur if either a majority of no lynch votes is reached, or there is no other majority at the deadline.

10. After someone has been lynched, discussion may continue until I can get to the thread and end the day.

11. Don't post hidden messages.

12. If you haven't posted in 3 days, I'll prod you. If you don't pick up that prod AND post within 48 hours, I'll replace you.

13. If you need to be replaced for whatever reason, please PM me. If you are V/LA, please post in the thread notifying me of your V/LA or PM me about it.

14. Be nice. It's a game. Enjoy it.

15. I am the mod and my rule is final.

16. This is my first modding experience on MS. I may make mistakes. I may have missed a rule out. Let me know, ask me questions, rather than abusing my mistakes.
