Voting and Lynching

Activity Rules

1. If a player has not posted within 48 hours, I reserve the right to prod at my discretion.
2. If a player is prodded 3 times through the game or fails to respond to a prod appropriately, I reserve the right to replace that player at my discretion.
3. Each Day Phase will last 3 weeks; each Night Phase will last 48 hours. I may extend either deadline at my discretion or upon request.

Special Rules

1. This game starts in the day phase.
2. The mafia or werewolves win when they number more than half the living players.
3. The mafia or werewolves can also win if they make up exactly half the living players and at least one protown role is still alive.
4. If the mafia and werewolves ever make up equal numbers with no protown roles left alive, mafia win.
5. Mafia also win if a day phase begins with one mafia, one werewolf, and one protown.

A rash of mysterious nightly killings have put London on edge. Word on the street is that the government has been reduced to dispatching psychics and paranormal experts to combat the threat; it's anyone's guess what'll come of that, but you're not sure whether to trust those rumors, or whether you can be sure the government knows how to stop the murders.

Or maybe you're one of those "experts," and you know precisely what you have in mind. Or maybe you're harboring a dark secret...

Whoever you are, you awake to find yourself in a hospital. Odd, you think. Perhaps you've been delirious? How long have you been here? You stumble out of bed and head for the window.

The hospital...is on the moon? Why are you here? What's going on? You vaguely notice others around you staring outside in shock just the same as you, but you're too distracted to pay them much heed.

You're still recovering from the shock when you recognize that an anthropomorphic rhinocerous has approached.

At first, they speak only nonsense. Then, after a few moments, you can understand clearly -- "We have determined that two of you have been infected. Present yourselves for scanning at once."

Scanning? Infected? What on earth is going on? You glance warily at the strangers who share the room. Who will you send to be "scanned" first...?
