The last two runs of this setup have only a single scum draw over 10, with a meme submission of 69, and all 5 of the others are under 10. I have some theories on why this is, ranging from small sample size to player preferences independent of alignment, but I think there is some value in discussing how I'd approach the game as mafia.

I have personally and purposefully picked high numbers as scum in 2 separate iterations of this setup to ensure getting in before the doubles, so i think your sample size is just small

I am more comfortable placing a vote on someone I've played with, and that leaves me to vote skitter over Andante. I don't know anything about Andante, but skitter had a high level of intentionality in Trust Fall, so I am comfortable voting her first.

Skitter picked 6 in a previous run as town (while S_S selected 9 as both alignments), but I'll let things sit for now.

Namely, the really qucik real-time interactions with real time reassessment and responses based on what other people are saying. generally, what makes me townie and what mostly makes my towngames is gut reads, in-moment thoughts, and feeling mostly relaxed and natural

(and townbloc building, but that's follows after reads, obviously). now, the gut reads and thoughts aren't present because this game feels like mud currently and i've gotten very little from it so far. and, i'm aware i'm sounding a bit off tonally, mostly around iv, because this is like the 4th game in recent times where we start off with "r u scum though" and it's gotten repetitive.

- this interaction actually pinged me quite a lot, and the first thought that popped into my head is that you're scum with sleepless / trying to get me to move my vote off of him for some reason
- i utterly hate the bolded and it feels rather manipulative, so no
- i'm not sure why voting mwb 'together' would be a selling point
- i made it clear in a few different ways / a few different times that i'm worried about the slots Without Content, and i'm trying to change that by making them provide content. in a fairly stagnant gamestate where we're rapidly running otu of time, why is this a problem?

What's the significance of 'under 7' anyways / why would i care abt that?

I split the slots in my head into under 7 / over 7 cuz that's about where you can expect to get a power role.(its not science its just me guessing)

I think scum are incentivized in this setup to go into the low numbers to get good stuff to deny it to town and make themselves harder to yeet.

I think of the game as trying to figure out who the baddies are in the low numbers and then using that to sort the rest of the game because I think it's almost impossible for scum to go all high numbers and win this game?
