And tries to build an actual case against VE, when everything he's said thus far has been a joke. Others did this, but PersonalIdiot's rapid movement from "Why are we bandwagoning VE? We don't know for sure that he's scum." to "This joke is CLEARLY a scum slip." is abnormal. If you as a player don't like random wagons, you should be pressuring VE for a random post. There has to be an ulterior motive there.

Skimming is scummy, in almost everyone's opinion. Town reads all posts in their entirety, since they look for slips from scum. Only scum skims, since they honestly don't care who's giving minor scum tells, as long as they aren't accused of anything.

That's . . . not true at all. Skimming is antitown. Theoretically, scum and town should have equal motivation for reading the thread very closely. Skimming is just a quicker way to get through the thread. Less helpful, but easier to fit into a schedule.

Not that I'm saying skimming is protown, it's just not reflective of alignment.

I don't see anything scummy from VE. I don't see anything towny from him either, but what everyone else is labelling as AtE and flailing doesn't strike me as lynchworthy.

And obviously, I too would like him to answer my questions. Sorry for falling off the face of the earth - I kept looking at the thread and saying "I'll get to it later." And you can see how that plan got me. Operation Active Posting ENGAGE!

And after I say that, I see lots of words, and I start skimming. I'll be back tomorrow with a more detailed post outlining what I think of everyone.
