These questions you're asking make is seem like you're worried about someone CC'ing, which you shouldn't be if you're really doc.

No I worried that everyone else is putting too much emphasis on the CC. They have no way of knowing for sure till the dust settles.

Town WANTS a doc counter-claim. 1 for 1 this early in the game is excellent for town, and since you already claimed, you're already doomed. So regardless, you should really stop panicking.

Johoohno never really took a position on marmalade one way or another, and tellingly, when gs voted for johoohno, marmalade asked, "is that a random vote?" Sort of like, "are you voting for my partner for a good reason?"

Now, surye didn't post much in this game because of real-life stuff, which I buy because he's been pretty quiet in other games I'm in with him, but he did say, just as the heat was rising on johoohno, "I'm considering putting ice at L-1." Like he was trying to derail the wagon.

Iceman is the play because there was no late movement towards him on the day joohoo was lynched. Were he scum, teammates would have likely tried to sway the balance at deadline. The fact that we were able to just roll to a joohoo lynch makes me think BOTH the top 2 candidates were scum.

Asking me to claim is lazy when there's more than can be done.

Wrong, you're at L-1, town has decided that you're ready to be lynched, you defend yourself, not try and redirect attention.

Also, at a deadline, when a lynch is inevitable, bussing is always the right strategy. And before you say it, yours is just as WIFOM.

Shea, I am 99% convinced that FL is town, largely due to his reactions to doc claim and it's aftermath. Your b/w on Zeek wasn't scummy like Iceman's was.

FL, I am not talking about the b/w that lead to Zeek lynch. I am talking about Iceman's interactions with Zeek after the very first b/w on him, which lasted several pages.

I didn't like how confident he became about FL's alignment, when I see that, I get the feeling he knows something we don't, and he's setting himself up for being right down the line. When I see breadcrumbing that strong, it's usually building up to a claim, and I don't particularly like that from him.

This is not to say I think FL is scum, on the contrary, I don't believe he is. I just don't like the way SirT reacts to this.

You would do well to read the end of day 1 in mini 466 (you were scum with me and Numenorean7 in that game) where Numenorean7 expressed similar thoughts about the doc's (who happened to be, Nanosauromo) claim over there.

The point is, that the doctor

must

claim if he looks like he's being lynched, and, if there is a real doctor who is certain that he is the only doctor in the game (usually minis have only one doctor in them) then he must counter claim. That's the basic game playing rule in mafia.

He also goes through all this, but doesn't actually present anything on Johoonoo, even though he's FIRST on the list. Looks like he just wanted to get the name out there.


It's not 100% solid, but it's feeling like the next play to me is all.
