Quick thoughts, the Theta/Delta thing is odd. Theta coming off a little OMGUS but then Delta jumped on them for consistency. Delta’s side seems to be the weaker of the two which coupled with Theta’s behaviour around their game history is leaning me towards Delta being the scummier. Could just as easily just be a bit of a mutual villager tunnel though.

Drew I’m leaning town just based on behaviours in our last game together, it’s early though and he subbed into that game iirc so we’ll see how that goes.

I’ll be back with more, hopefully. We will see.

Theta is either playing up their game history to seem open and honest about their chances, or they’re being genuine. I don’t think it’s overtly scummy to be so open book when really nobody was asking. The vote on Delta could absolutely be omgus but the reasoning feels like genuine frustration. Delta’s reaction feels insubstantial, only calling out that other did the same as they did and Theta didn’t vote for them instead.

Can someone clear that up for me? All I really see is two players having a spat rather than anything that indicates one of them is pushing in bad faith.

That’s how I felt about you and Theta as well.

The main thing and I agree with Flavor Leaf is that the push on Theta seems to be based on their behaviour which I don’t see as something scum would openly do without cause. And you’ve been a bit omgus about anyone who votes you, which I wouldn’t expect from scum at this stage of the game.

It’s D1, unless we have some super sleuths on our side it’s all theories, trying to pick up on little things and a bit of reaction reading. Or chaos, there’s always that too.

I mean I said ‘for now’, as in I’ve been inactive so this is my initial thought. Odd question again, why did I jump to the conclusion - I said why in the post you questioned. I don’t think that the wagon was scum free and you’re the only person that fits for me because the rest are either conf not scum through investigation (traitor still possible), claimed town pr or dead.

Not keen on a mass claim as the tracker should only nk if they have pertinent info, same with the watcher. If the traitor is bulletproof as speculated then right now they’re still unknown to scum and we may just give them open targets to pick off and ensure they keep getting the right night target.

Alliana, Drew and Flippy are the choices, I realise that I can be put in that group for everyone else but from my perspective it’s one of those 3.

Looking at the voting pattern yesterday I’m leaning towards Flippy. Hu voted them possibly to distance since the wagon on Hu was growing, while Flippy sat on Alianna behind Drew actively calling out they were just sheeping him - possible attempt to pocket him.

Theta - Informed is part time of a role title, kittytacky was informed that’s how it was confirmed that we have a traitor. Stands to reason there may be an informed scum as well in that third slot but not for certain. Any rule speculation on whether any faction were inherently classed as informed would be moot, it’s specifically a role ability.

Ignoring the claims, if you think I led the charge on Hu Tao day 2 as scum then I don’t know what to tell you.

Right now I would verify delta and theta as town because I can’t see anything that would give the analyst a false result. Red and Alianna while their roles are not confirmed by the presence of an enabler (as there could be red herrings) the fact that they wouldn’t know that and made these claims at a point where they could be disputed by the real pr means it’s a real big risk for scum to fake claim like that.

Drew’s claim - would we have 2 finder roles? The existence of a finder-finder leads me to think yes, but since we have 4 claims one has to be fake so there must be a red herring out there. So it’s Flippy or Drew based on the above. I lean towards Flippy because they’ve done very little, and could have verified FL’s claim since they ‘tracked’ them on n1 but didn’t.

We need to hear from Alianna on their night results, but right now I urge the town to avoid the easy route of limming the only unverified villager claim (I.e me) because it gives you one less night to root out the scum.

Ah ok, I’ve misread that. Still puts them in the unverified side though, because Drew already revealed their targets. Confirms Drew though, either town flippy is truthing, or scum flippy is lying. That only leaves flippy as the one claimed role that could be reasonably disputed.

Theta, step away from the meta speculation, i was in on the Enchant wagon and immediately voted Hu Tao to get their wagon going. It makes no sense as scum to do that. You’re going to hand the game to scum, potentially that’s your intention though.

It would be a totally wreckless move, especially to wagon a scum role that can’t be picked up by power roles. There’s something amiss here, one of the enabler or finder roles is a red herring and you need to establish which because if I do go I’m flipping town and you’re heading to lylo.

Yep, just my take, assuming that the traitor wouldn’t also have a power role then from my perspective it can only be you or Theta.
