If you think about it, there are 3 cases for a massclaim. I'm going to spend time thinking about a best WCS. I'm not pushing the issue, but simply am saying that it might be best not to throw the idea out the window so soon.

What are our other options besides massclaim? Sorry, casework has never been a great skill of mine. Can we all go through it together here or do you want to assume that if we go through massclaim that the mafia won't bother with cases themselves?

It seems as if every option will lead us into LyLo. Because of my inexperience, I'm not entirely sure, but it seems as if a massclaim would make the game statistics instead of actual mafia and somewhat more tense and less fun.

Both no massclaim and massclaim seem, from the arguments made, equally bad options. It seems as if the power roles are both a great disadvantage and one of our only chances of winning. Should we really give them up?

At first I had problems with your post too, but I reread it and realised I totally misinterpreted it.

So we've all agreed massclaim is for the worse? Then where do we go from here?

The only possible plus of a massclaim is enabling our power roles to work more efficiently. However, ignoring the power roles, we have almost no chance.

It seems as if randomvoting is over.

I don't feel I understand the case being made against ThAdmiral, nor that bandwagon in a mini is a good idea.

ThAdmiral posts a very good point, and the people against him don't seem to have a real reason. However, doesn't ThAdmiral's post follow very well Tarhilindur's standard tells?

Until there has been some more analysis of what he says, I don't think I should vote just yet for either person.

I will be gone from Dec. 26-30, so I guess it's okay to replace me if need be, but please P.M. me if you decide to do so. However, it's possible that where I'm going will have WiFi.

Ripley, I can't help it if my parents book a trip into the city 3 months ahead of time, can I? I mean, I said I was okay with a replacement, and I'm not sure a scum would do that. The Mod told me that he wouldn't, which I'm fairly sure he can confirm.

I'm slightly surprised with TCS because he pretends there's no such thing as bussing in his last post. And with his level of experience, something like that wouldn't have been overlooked so easily.

I'm all for massclaim. However, if there is such claim, shouldn't the miller (if one exists) claim before cops?

I think we should massclaim. For reasons which have been stated. Also, I'm saying have a miller claim, a cop claim, then a doctor claim in that order. It should be a fairly obvious reason. Again, it was said earlier.

Sorry Zazie, it's just that I'm not used to MS yet. Not really. After finishing this game and maybe another, I should be up to speed. e.g. I don't know how much of a scumtell bandwagoning is and how popular various tells are (meaning accidently used by non-scum).

Huh. So tells are much stronger than I thought. Sorry guys I wasn't much help, and I'm not exactly sure I can call this a win for me, but playing this gives me something to work/improve off of. Besides more activity, does anyone have any suggestions?

The reason I wanted a miller claim first was that, in the case of a cop (a fake cop claim would have won for us too, I realised that as well) there would be no escape for scum left, and if there were only 2 claims, we could confirm him/her.

I see what you mean by the most suspicious claiming first. Pressure them and give them little information.

Raging Rabbit, you did a good job modding. Compared with some of the mods back at the site I came from, you were GREAT. One mod there gave the town a hint and didn't modkill someone for PM quoting.
