I'm west coast, have played about 6 games now, and post extremely actively.

This game has 4 of the players from my last game, so this will be interesting for sure. This RVS is quite out of control, so I won't be participating this time until I nail down a few strange feelings I have about the way this game has started and the people involved in its eccentricity.

AGM, ICE, easjo, Porochaz, SAMP and Parama all have played with me before. AGM twice. There is a heap of meta in that. This is how I play until I can actually find something to do. As in, when I think there is something worth commenting on I will, not before, not after. If I lay a vote I have reasoning. If I don't provide it then it is either obvious (from someone elses case that I agree with), experimental or my thinking is so farfetched that I would just make a big unneccesary spiral of discussion. I really do hate it when the third one is the case, it results in WoT wars that get me uppity and rash.

ok so to who you should see for the backing up meta. AGM can show you a game where I was rather active. That was because I actually had an (semi)original case towards a start. After that got out of the way I shut up again.

The last point of the first paragraph can be confirmed though Porochaz when it lost town the game because I got in an arguement with another townie.

Actually no it isn't. I haven't seen anything scummy and so my slightly not random vote hasn't been needed to be removed.

I don't do grudges except maybe in rvs but my vote on you was from after that.

AGM hasn't played badly. SSBF's slot was helb by newbie, also not scummy.

I have had noone to put my vote on other than you for a minor disgression.

I was going to movce it to Porochaz but he offset what I had on him so that wasn't a valid case anymore.

@Concerned: This is the first game I've played with Espenoage, so I don't know if it is consistent with his meta. It might be similar to his Mini 962: Mafia in Murrieta meta thought, where he was a Mafia Godfather (I have read most of the game). But those questions are best left with ICEninja, AlmasterGM, and Super Awesome Mega Pimp!, as they were in Mini 962: Mafia in Murrieta as well.

It is consistent with his play in that game.

@SAMP, who's scum? Why?

SSBF: I still think MK's reason for flaking was pressure. He's currently playing in Mini 979 Square Enix II: Siege of Obscurum (a theme game), so the theory that he quit to start in the newbie queue is wrong. I don't see what reason town-MK would have to quit only this game.
Esp: I agree with AGM, I looked at Esp's play in Mini 922 - Mafia in Mo Town and it doesn't look like his play in this game.

I take a different stacne. To me scum hunting is waiting to see something that is incriminating and not before. It is a simple fact that everyone gives scumtells at some point. Not all of these people can be scum, can they? No, they can't. So basically the gist of it all is that I wont participate in the way you want me to until I see something particularly notable in my eyes.

In that hypothetical situation yes it is convenient but only if you were to let me do it. I'm going to assume that for this I am getting away with it.

Considering your interpretation of scum hunting yes that statement is exactly correct. I would say that I am scum hunting, just not actively.

@ IAI: True, but that isn't the case here now is it? That did happen to me once in a newbie game. I took charge of the town and we won because I picked out scum exactly day 2. I actually was V/la for alot of day one and did next to nothing as well that game.

Anyway I think you are all sick of meta defences but the fact of the matter is that none of you are willing to give my playstyle a chance.

If you really are that annoyed with me I will claim but I would prefer not to, if you want to here more from me before deciding then ask some more questions and let me know what you want.

Going for shortterm it is anti town.
I think for long term it is protown. Now I think that in the long term it is a good playstyle to have. It lets me see stuff that others wouldn't. As soon as you lay a statement such as "X is scum" then you are limiting your veiws on them. It is mini tunnelling. I wont be hindered by that. If you give me a bit of time so that there is actually stuff to go on then you might actually see that my playstyle is not anti-town leading into the latter end of the game. Of course i'm not asking for you to give me a free ride to the end of the game, just that by the end of the game it should be apparent that keeping me around was a good idea.

If you read the rebuttul I actually made then you would see it is more to do with keeping a sense of clarity until Day 2 when more stuff comes out. Works really well in newbie games from my experience anyway. I suppose when people aren't noobs then they kinda don't let you get away with it.
