1. Do you prefer playing as Mafia/Town/3rd Party?
2. How often do you usually post?
3. What is your timezone?
4. What is your stance on gut reads?
5. Can I expect WoTs from you?

1) I prefer being scum. It's (usually) simpler.
2) Several times a day. unless there's nothing to post about (meaning activity is low; I always find
something
to comment on).
3) Pacific (California)
4) They're okay when used wisely. They have to be supported with a real case, however.
5) Absolutely.

(This feels SO MUCH[] like a Newbie game. Am I in the right forum?)

Elfen, this post is really bad. (I'm going to wait to see if there's explanation on it.)

Good question, Elfen (and no good answer to match.). And relying on random .org is a big scumtell.

Necessary Evil, I have my eye on you for this post. It's not "making something of nothing" at all. It's called scumhunting. Don't worry, you're new here. (You, too, Kalofer.)

(Top of) page four. Sleep now.

Kalofer, this post. Why are you giving Elfen a pass just because he's brand new?

Defensive much? It's very scummy not to explain yourself, you know. (Also Kalofer.)

Elfen, do you not get that your not voting on Day One deprives the town of information that it really needs to have
before
Day Two? (And I see this was handled ably here.) Let's see if an answer appears!

Espeonage wrote:For the sake of my sanity. Who isn't just out of newbies?

That would be me.

Agree with Espe; Elfen is (almost totally) confirmed town. Moving on.

SleepyKrew, I think Elfen's far too new to try anything like that. (No offense, Elfen, but I firmly believe this.)

FoS: Kalofer

I'd love to go further, but it's 3am and I need to sleep (again). More tomorrow.

Top of page 7.

Still on the way to catching up. Wasn't able to read anything last night, but today will be better.

Panzer:  Why would you SAY such a thing?? (The self-hammer thing. Perhaps it'll be more clear as I read ....? Or, well, no. Bad thing to say, unless the circumstances are VERY extenuating.)

charter: I've seen many situations where town has replaced out. Do you want me to find them? I know for a fact that I (under my alt account) have replaced out as town. I may have under this account, but I'm not sure.

(Elfen: Sorry about the family issues. Parents can be ...weird.)

ALSO: Please don't hammer until I get caught up, I'd GREATLY appreciate that. It really shouldn't be more than another two days.

If you think it's a similar situation, where someone slipped up huge, then immediately replaced out, then sure. I will take a look at one or two.

Well, I guess I spoke without knowing the entire situation. That'll teach me to jump into current events while still reading the thread.

Quinnster wrote:I also want to say that now that I've thought it over, I can see how townhunting CAN be useful, but not at this point. The ratio of town to mafia makes it an impossibly large process of elimination. I think it's much better to start with scumhunting.

I know I can't ask Quinn about this directly, but it just seems as though he
knows
precisely how many mafia there are. How does he know this? As a townie, I don't. He must be scum.

SleepyKrew wrote:I've explained plenty.

NeEvil is also scum. Yay metas :D

Can you elaborate?

I just want to say that I'm at page 10, but with the thing I found Quinn saying, added together with a quick iso of earworm, I'm ready for the day to end if you guys are.

Hammer when ready; I'll keep reading.

Oh, Espe unvoted. Well then.

Vote: earworm

L-1. I won't hammer because I'm still reading, but I won't be sad if the hammer is dropped.

Panzer -- I work 7 days a week and I still find time for mafia. I'm not impressed with your reasoning. And you're losing town points
by the minute.

I should probably explain, so it's clear (and this really has little bearing on this game in particular; it just may be useful to explain my activity levels): I work from home, and I'm on the computer all day. This makes it simple for me to keep up with games and post little drive-by posts all over the site; but reading a huge chunk of pages and doing serious scumhunting takes larger blocks of time, which generally come in the late, late evenings.

Not yet, because
I haven't finished reading the thread.

Why are you in such a hurry, aside from your own selfish wish to have night RIGHT THIS VERY MINUTE so that it fits into your personal schedule? IMO, your schedule outside of mafia is less critical than doing what's best for town.
