Reread will come this evening or tomorrow morning; I have a paper due in an hour that I haven't started yet.

I apologize for my reprehensible lack of reread, but this has been an interesting day.

I'm here, and while I read stuff I'm going to
vote: Faerie Lord
because if Simenon thinks he's scum, he's probably scum.

With that post I tore apart your entire statement. Amazing huh?
Simenon thought I was scum in that game, and he was right. He also thought Shanba was scum, and he was right.

With that post I tore apart your entire... yeah, wtf ever.

I don't believe the claim, but it's not a good play to lynch an uncountered cop.

Just do a reread of FL in isolation. He hasn't said one substantive thing all game. Every post is about other people, or in reaction to other people, or sort of about strategy, or to FOS lurkers. Not one comment as to the scumminess or innocence of another player.

My read of FL is still that he's said a lot of things about this game that avoid making definite accusations of guilt, which is about the scummiest behavior one can represent. My vote for him will carry to the deadline, excepting some verifiable or uncountered claim of his innocence.

I don't believe the doc claim anymore, and he just congratulated the vig. In our night talk Simenon and I discussed how FLOC and Setael looked very scummy on the wagon yesterday.

So I'm going to start off on this wagon.

Actually, I'm going to
unvote
and relegate that to a
HOS: FLOC
. If he's not scum, he's going to die tonight. The scum could ill afford to let a real doctor live another night with a claimed cop, a confirmed innocent, and a vig around.

Setael wrote:Nano's choice of investigation is highly suspect. Simenon was confirmed mason by virtue of both he and his mason buddy claiming. There's no way 2 scum would endanger themselves by claiming mason like that. If one of them died, the other would go down too. It just defies understanding that you would investigate simenon... and makes me think you might be mafia and are lying to us. I also think you should've known that it was highly likely simenon would be the NK target, as the scum would expect the doc to protect you and sim had been more active than TCS. Another reason to NOT investigate simenon. So if this is the case, there is either no cop in this game, or there is a real cop who knows you are mafia and is waiting to figure out the third scum before busting you.

I suppose it is possible that you are some kind of cop/vig but if so I think you're a scum cop/vig.

Before this day ends, I'd like you to embed a code in one of your posts that says who you will be investigating. That way you can at least prove to us that you're not just picking the person who was NK'd as the person you "investigated."
Vote: Setael

I don't like this post at all. Investigating Simenon looks a stupid move in light of the nightkill (that nano presumably didn't know of), and because both masons claimed I wouldn't have done it were I cop. However, I don't think it's a scum tell. I just think it was a bad choice. I'm willing to give the uncountered cop another day.

Your "code" plan is ridiculous. If he's scum, he can nightkill whoever he says he plans to investigate. Or worse, scum can nightkill the person he plans to investigate, making that plan useless.

I didn't like your presence on the lynching wagon yesterday, and I don't like this plan you have now.

Think about it: If we have a claimed mason pair, and one of them turns up as town by investigation, then we pretty much have two confirmed townies. Good, yes?
Oh, I fully agree. Your choice is suspect to me only in the sense that it also happened to be the nightkill. For my money, it was most likely an unfortunate circumstance, and Setael's suspicion of you is quite scummy.

I'm sorry... did Setael claim vig? When did this happen? I totally missed this in my reread.

I believe Setael's claim, FWIW. I also think it very possible that either or both of FLOC and Nano are lying scum.

We have two scenarios: all of our claims are true, in which case all we have to do is lynch the three remaining players for a town auto-win, or some of our claims are false, in which the situation is much trickier.

I say we begin by lynching one of the three unclaimed. FLOC should continue to protect Nano each night. If we catch scum today, FLOC should probably be investigated. If we don't we need to have the investigation on one of the two remaining unclaimed players. I'm going to reread the three unclaimed and make a decision.

Bookitty wrote:In case there's a lynching and we go to night before I get another chance to post, I'd just like to request that Nanosauramo NOT investigate TCS or Setael. They're both already confirmed, in my opinion at least.

Anyone else would be fine with me.

That there's a masonry in a 12-person game almost always means that the scum have additional powers or there's an SK.

I would bank on there being an SK and/or a godfather in thie game.

Sorry that I can't do more, atm, school is death. I will try harder if I get the time to.

Just to update, I still need to reread but I think today we should choose from Yagami, Bookitty, or Samruc.

I would like all three of those players to post their best reason why they are not scum, if possible.
