"Nights" will last around 3 RL days. The deadline will be posted. If you need an extension, just tell me, I might need one someday myself.

Days will last as long as they need to. If discussion lags, I will impose a deadline. If discussion picks up, the deadline will be rescinded. Aren't I the nice one??? (the correct answer is... NO)

Once a player has reached the necessary majority to lynch, the day is over. Unvoting them will not save their life.

No lynches are allowed, they require the same votes as a lynch. Any player who votes no lynch goes home and may not post for the rest of the day unless that player reaches half the majority vote for a lynch.

The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so. You button your lip, or I button it for you.

Once your death scene has been posted, unless you're not dead, you’re dead. You will be told if you're not dead. Once your dead DO NOT POST ANYTHING until the game is over.

Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts. No matter what stupid thing you've done. Why can't you just THINK? I mean, come on!

If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. The first time you miss a deadline, no choice will be made. The second time you miss a deadline, I will make a choice for you. This usually involves you being unhappy.

As the sun rises the citizens of Gamersville gather at the town square hoping that the rumors of mafia infiltrators are false. After a few hours of discussion it becomes apparent that Rite is not amongst the group. While searching the area for signs of Rite an old man discovers a small, brown paper package resting at the base of the flagpole. Hesitantly the old man opens the package and discovers a mackerel and a silver badge. The old man looks up at his peers with dread and whispers, "The rumors are true. The mafia ARE amongst us and Officer Rite sleeps with the fishes."

It is now Day.

Clarifications

Please reveiw the NO LYNCH rules. None were broken because Talitha did have half the majority votes to come out and post again. Just want to make sure everyone is clear on this....... Once you vote NO LYNCH, you can not post anymore unless you receive half the majority votes for a lynch.

In order to stick to the 48 hour deadline I would have to stay up until 5am my time and I don't want to do that. The deadline will end at 2am my time (MST USA) for sanity purposes. That's 2 mistakes you guys have made thus far.........

If a majority lynch vote has not been made by the deadline the player with the most votes will be lynched. In the event of a tie the player that reached the deciding number of votes first will be lynched.

As dawn finally arrives the citizens of Gamersville gather once again at the town square. This time it doesn't take long for them to conclude that Dourgrim is missing. Slowly, they turn their heads as one toward the old man as he approaches the flagpole. After picking something up from the base of the flagpole the old man turns back to the crowd and in a slow, quiet voice says, "These murderers are getting bolder, no paper package this time." Raised in his hand is a bloodied smock.

Dourgrim (Nurse) has been killed.

As night falls the lynch mob finally gathers and makes it's way to Kerplunk's house. Once there they find him waiting at his desk having just completed his Last Will & Testiment. As Kerplunk stands to face the mob they realized he is wearing his dress blues with shoes and medals recently polished. "No matter", someone yells, "the vote has been cast! To the gallows!" Without a fight Kerplunk is taken to the town square and hung from the flagpole. With his last breath Kerplunk whispers...... "So be it."

As the sun rises the remaining citizens of Gamersville gather at the town square. The count is quick and short as there are only six of them remaining. Hardened by the previous mornings the old man strolls up to the base of the flagpole and after gathering something from under a fallen ladder returns to the remaining citizens carrying a pile of bloodied clothing. In disgust the old man casts the bloodied clothing on the ground before the citizens. "A policeman's uniform....." says the old man. "Those must be Kerplunk's, we lynched him last night!" someone blurts out in a confused voice. "No," replies the old man, "This uniform style hasn't been worn in Gamersville for a generation and it's riddled with bullet holes." Upon closer inspection of the uniform the old man finds a single black hawk embroidered on the uniforms left collar. "We still have someone unaccounted for." someone mumbles after several minutes of silence. Shaking his head the old man points to the flagpole. Halfway up, where Kerplunk's body had been, hangs the lifeless body of Curtaindog.

Just as the last sliver of the sun disappears behind the horizon the lynch mob drags Stewie, kicking and screaming, from his house. After several ill fated attempts to escape, it's a wonder the citizens had enough strength left to hoist Stewie up the flagpole. With his last ounce of energy and life, Stewie manages to pull a small revolver from his coat pocket. With a gurgled laugh Stewie points the revolver at Yanqush and............................. "click". As the citizens stare in wonder the old man walks away smiling and jingling six bullets in his hand.

With the coming of dawn the surviving Gamersville citizens gather in the town square and realize that only the old man is missing. Apparently he decided to sleep in.

By the time the evening report was released the lynch mob had formed, lynched and gone to bed. Nobody really cared about scripts anymore, except perhaps Norinel who couldn't read about it anwyay, being dead and all.

The rising of the sun, often enough, brings new hope to those who witness it. Unfortunately there would be no more sunrises for the latest mafia victim in Gamersville. Each Gamersville citizen gathered on this morning in the town square with a skeptical look in their eyes. The old man could only shake his head and report that the town mayor would not live to see the day Gamersville would rid itself of it's mafia infestation. Some of the Gamersville citizens wondered if that day would ever come.

With apparent confidence Tigris and Shadyforce entered the home of an obvious idiot and dragged her to the town square. Electra, being the idiot that she was, did not struggle even at the deadly discomfort of the noose. The old man, somewhat distracted by the blue and orange that dominated yet another evening sky, turned briefly to what remained of the Gamersville citizens and said, "It is finished."

Mafia Family

Godfather:

(STEWIE)You are the godfather. You are immune to night kills. Norinel, Electra and CURTAINDOG are your henchmen and you may communicate with them at night. Each night your family must decide which player you would like to kill and it is YOUR responsibility to send me this choice, so long as you live.

Henchman #1:

(Norinel) You are a henchman. Electra and CURTAINDOG are your fellow henchmen and Stewie is your godfather. You may communicate with them at night. Each night your family must decide which player you would like to kill and in the event of your godfathers death it will be your responsibility to send me this choice, so long as you live.

Henchman #2 (Idiot):

(Electra) You are the idiot henchman. Norinel and CURTAINDOG are your fellow henchmen and Stewie is your godfather. You may communicate with them at night. Each night your family must decide which player you would like to kill and in the event of the deaths of your godfather and Norinel, it will be your responsibility to send me this choice, so long as you live. Because you are an idiot, you must vote randomly. Each night I will send you the name of the player you MUST vote for. Failure to vote for this player will result in your instant death! If two of your family members should be killed, your surviving family member will slap the idiot out of you and you will be able to vote however you wish.

(CURTAINDOG) You are henchman. Norinel and Electra are your fellow henchmen and Stewie is your godfather. You may communicate with them at night. Each night your family must decide which player you would like to kill. This choice will be sent to me by one of your family members. Your brother is a cop and also lives in Gamersville. In the event of your brothers death, you will commit suicide the following night.

(Kerplunk) You are a cop. Each night you must send me the name of a player you would like to investigate. Your brother and a mafioso, also lives in Gamersville. In the event of your brothers death, you will commit suicide the following night.

Retired Cop(sane):

(blackhawk) You are a retired cop. In the event of a cops death, you will take up the badge and come out of retirement. In this event you must send me the name of a player you would like to investigate each night.

Deputy:

(Shadyforce) You are a deputy. At any point in the game after one cop has died, you may choose to receive the results of any one dead cop's investigations.

Doctor:

(Talitha) You are a Doctor. Each night you must send me the name of a player you would like to protect. You may not protect yourself.

Nurse:

(Dourgrim) You are a nurse. In the event of a town doctors death, you will assume his or her duties. In that event you must send me the name of a player each night that you would like to protect. You may not protect yourself.

Commuter:

(Tigris) You are a traveling salesman. On even numbered nights you will be immune to night kills due to being out of town.

Politician:

(Yanqush) You are the Mayor. On odd numbered days you may buy the vote of one player. On odd numbered nights you must send me the name of the player who's vote you want to buy and the name of the player you want them to vote for. For example: "I want to buy rite's vote and I want them to vote for Yanqush."

Game Summary

Night One

rite was killed by mafia, Electra had to vote for CRiX, rite investigated Dourgrim, PBUG investigated CurtainDog, Talitha protected Yanqush and Yanqush passed on her option to buy a vote.

Night Two

Dourgrim was killed by mafia, Electra had to vote for Stewie, Kerplunk investigated Stewie, CRiX investigated Kerplunk and Dourgrim protected Norinel.

Night Three

blackhawk killed by mafia, Electra had to vote for Yanqush, blackhawk investigated Norinel and Yanqush bought Shadyforce's vote.

Night Four

Mafia attempted to kill Tigris.

Day Four

Shadyforce requested rite's investigation results.

Night Five

Yanqush was killed by mafia and Yanqush attempted to buy Electra's vote.

I have to say that after the first few nights and days I thought the town was doomed. The turning point was probably when the mafia tried to kill Tigris (commuter) on a night that she was out of town, it was game over if they selected anyone else. I'll save the rest of my comments for later.
