Now I am seriously confuzzled. I mean, for real.. wouldn't the Motion Detector still pick MOTION on Mastina if she was JK'd?? JK only blocks KILLS but not "investigations". Or are we talking about an Alien Role here?

My understanding is it detects MOTION on/from the target. If the target took action they get motion, and if the target was targeted by someone else (other than the MD) they still get motion.

One in {Pooky, Mastina, MathBlade} I think. Possibility of two? Revisit (two) thought once you actually get some red on the board. Some thoughts while at work made me lean towards Pooky. I haven't been involved in the mechanical process of things and it seems from the ~24ish hours since my replacement nobody is keen on giving me context and I'm not going to sit here and rummage through posts if you're limming my slot confbiased style.

Pooky is always scum, even when he's not.

I babysit BBMolla last night given that I was under the impression I'd be the nightkill, but I am alive and Pizza is dead instead.

Like, unless it was: scum kill on me (triggering my babysit kill), someone else protect me, busdrive of Pizza-Molla (so my kill went onto Pizza and your hide onto Molla), I legit don't have an answer.

I don't think I understand that ;ast bit, but -more importantly- I don't think I want to spend that much brain energy to try and understand it. (I always thought the Babysitter only kills it's target if the kill on it is successful. I never thought a failed kill on a Babysitter still kills their target)

Plus, that's a very convoluted and precise set of actions, so I don't even know how to calculate it's probability.

Also, since we are claiming, I watched N_M and nobody visited him.

The wording on my babysit is specifically that the target will be killed if I DIE, rather than be killed if I am KILLED tho so...it shouldn't be from me.

What part of "I'm not efforting" did you miss? I only replaced-in to help out Gypyx (and because it's been a while since I played with Toog). I am not going to read the whole game though and I trust that this Town can solve the game without my silly scum!hunting tools. (I'll give you none example of my bizarre tools: 1 scum in the 1st 3 posters in any given game is like 75% true)

Looking back at page 1 I see these were tris (flipped Town), pizza (flipped scum) and BBM (unflipped). I don't care to read any further than that.

So, mastina was actually on Mathblade! (someone correct me if I'm doing one of those brain-farts). If that's correct though then Math was most likely the NK target still and mastina saved him.

But then why would Scum BOTH shoot AND RB math on the same night??

I am confused. No. If mastina was on Math and Scum intended to shoot Math they should've killed BBM. Yes? If Math did save a kill, it was most likely intended to be on BBM. So Scum tried to shoot BBM and RB Math, and the two were switched so they ended up shooting at Math (saved by mastina) and RBing BBM

@mastina: check the NAR validity of this, as I'm notoriously clueless about NAR (Jungle always taunts me for it).

Yeah, that's not entirely false, yet not entirely true. If my understanding of the BD resolving first they ARE both Town, but pizza had nothing to do with it. If my proposition is true someone vigged pizza, and the scum kill was blocked. I'll wait for mastina's confirmation though

I did lay out a theory that "half-solves" the puzzle. It does not explain why Pooky is still alive though. That's the one bit that is confusing me the most. If pizza did hit a PGO though that also solves the problem (but that was brought up by Pooky as I forgot to t5ake the Hider into account)

In Sum: Mathblade & BBM were Busdriven. Scum shot BBM & blocked Math, thus the actions resolved as shooting Math and blocking BBM. As mastina inteded to Babysit BBM the Babsit was on you (Math) thus the NK was blocked. As for pizza, they tried to redirect X unto Y, but one of the two was PGO and that's how pizza died, and since pizza wasn't actually targeted with a kill Pooky survived.

You didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. I already theorized the mastina/you/BBM thing and I failed to explain the pizza kill or the Pooky survival. I even did say "unless someone is lying" which you also included in your work sheet. Now how does all this make me look suspicious? I have no idea. And why would I even lie about my actions? The first one was Motion Detect on Toog (I don't even know if that was claimed): No Motion. The second one was a Track shot I gave to BBMm and he confirmed. Last night I had a Personal Watcher (which canNOT detect a factional ability) so I used in on N_M and no one visited him (at least not with a personal ability). I don't even see a reason for me to lie about any of these as either alignment.

N_M says he suspects my slot because of my predecessor which I accepted with a grain of salt (I didn't even ISO my predecessor), but you are basing your case on my actions (or my slot's actions) which is even thinner than N_M's reasoning.

The good news is I am Vanilla (as we all are) who had already spent all their acquired abilities, so you are technically yeeting a VT if you do. No big deal, although I would rather we flipped a red role today.
