I hate Day1, It usually fills with the unrequired chats and long pages for a very little details on the players.
I did a mild catch up as 54 pages seems a lot to catch up in a short while. So here is what I think about the game so far…
Annie Edison (notscience/The Bulge)
Just because I asked about your read on Medea, they are coming hard on me. I dont like that very much. And their vote on post #482 is more concerning. They want to eliminate because my questions were weird. Since when weird questions means scummy?
Their POST #536 is bleeding scum. What does it mean by “clear from bottom”? and you mentioned that you want take out strong players before they take you out. So there, you are basing elimination based on your survival chance not by scum reads? And you’re trying to hard carry the game? , I cant begin explain how many times you contradicted yourself over there. You wanted to remove bottom players and picked me but you wanted to remove Medea hydra because they are strong players. And you want to hard carry the game but doesn’t seem to have a clear logic to eliminate players.
Post #553 – Why begging because you have a fake story?
Post #616 – Why the unnecessary obsession?
Post#705 – You put me in your scum list but voted Mantee. Why?
Post#948 – Trying to bring my name up just to get players attention. It’s a classic scum move.

I feel that their inactiveness is an act. She seems on and off but not really contributing much to the game. Post #937 , what is the point of that? And Not a fan of “Right” and “Cross” symbols. I need concreate inputs.

I want to thank you for the post #1270 penguin. Not many players who played with me in the past remembers that. I always struggled in MS with those barriers.
And I don’t feel them as mafia. i am mixing meta and what I noticed so far in the game.
There is so much argument around them, I lost what the argument was about but whatever that could be I don’t believe that a mafia player would have defended them as genuinely as they did. Hence I town read them strongly.

I like sleez posts #532 & #542, they made a valid point about me and media. That looks very town.
Post #561 – I misunderstood the setup. I thought mafia are demons by default.
Post # 610 – A reasonable point. I agree with it.
Post # 882 – Another good post. I feel strong town vibes.

I didn't catch a good eye on your posts about Medea, It was already 15 pages and the argument didn't make sense whatsoever. Hence, I wanted to get a summary read instead of revisiting on long listing arguments that didn't make any sense at the begining.

2. I didn't like medea because of the fact how quickly it was built (within hours) and what is wrong in wanting to figure out why everyone scum reading Medea. How does that make me scum but not others especially those who found no good reasons to hop into Medea wagon?

And in his post #789, he softly puts his scum read opinion on Medea so that he could hop into their wagon whenever he wants. (It sounds to me like Scum creating options on day 1 as Medea is a leading wagon)

1. He tried to take advantage of my situation about being unfamiliar with the setup
2. He doesn't seem to have another strong reads except shown interest to join Medea wagon

Probably. And she's no doubt better at making an approach work as scum, and I don't think she'd pick an approach she'd expect to be detrimental to her favorite alignment. Which assumes that Rhea's preferences are similar, and I have no idea if that's a good assumption.

If you had decided to play a minimalist approach before a game was rolled and wound up with a scum role, would you stick with it? Why or why not?

I don't choose a playstyle approach in advance because I never stick with them and always fall back into old (bad? maybe, but the generally work for me) habits. I envy people who can easily tailor their playstyle. The kinds of stuff I decide in advance of going into a game are shaped by my role and thoughts on the setup, and by the player list. And they often fall by the wayside due to the way the game unfolds.

Everyone else has given me mixed signals or hasn't made an impression on me.

unwnd is working his way up recently but I think his current crusade against Snarky fishes is...unnecessary and cannot see what he is seeing there.

Lukewarm has given me no town vibes and his point against Medea about having both himself and Manatee, an unlikely scum team, as scum reads is lazy and felt like he was preemptively trying to discredit their upcoming explanation for their scum read on him which is why I'm currently voting him.

I'm having trouble forming concrete reads so far. I think I'll have a better time listing out players I'm not willing to lim today and PoEing from the remaining list. I could probably do better with a reread but lol that's a lot of effort
How is Mantee is town? I have a feeling that you two are scum together.

Notscience, as I mentioned there is a completed AA9 town game. Where two of her three votes placed were on scum (third was on a townie that I'd characterize as an OMGUS vote on her way to being voted out). Large normal 234. She also called out scum-Titus there.

AA9, I would ask you to dive into this game with a wider vision field. Hopefully that's where you're going anyways, but yeah. Talk to me about Lukewarm and expand on ManateeGirl's more recent content.

I am trying and i will, there is lot going on this day phase. i spent my time in defending my slot and proving myself as town. I had a little window to deep scum hunting. i have some strong scum reads at the early phase but they are changing.

Luke posts are intriguing to me, i understand others reasons for calling him as scum. i have modded a game where he was a town and i don't see that spark in him in this game. i have a moderate scum read on him. I need to see more before i be sure on my read on him.

As i said, this game gone beyond the weight of a large game. I struggle with day 1 phase due to the volume of posts and they confuse my understanding a little bit. You will see some concrete inputs as game moves into further day phases.

- my read on them is changed, not because they backed off on my case but more to do with the mindset they have come from. If Annie is mafia, they would want to hang on to my elimination regardless.

My earlier read on them was a town but i don't see much from them anymore. Ceph is usually a pro-scum player and i didn't get that vibe from them.

Lady Lambdadelta
I honestly dislike their attitude toward how i felt about their signal posts. I am not against selective mutism but it is not helping me get some concrete inputs from them.

Lukewarm
i had a hard time reading him, my earlier read was null but this game doesn't sound like a town luke. He is leaning scum to me now!

Manatee is my newly developed scum read, they started off saying that my initial posts were genuine and in another post, they pointed my opening was bad. they were provoking annie to continue to keep their vote on me but he was voting luke.

I have said my reasons before. Medea is my strong town read.

Titus tried to buddy up with me to push on nero, i find that very scummy. but of course nobody listened to me because i wasn't very active.
Titus tried to do the same by calling me town here and they became active only after the peer pressure. It does ring the bell. A good possibility of being scum.

Btw.. I got a demon note before the beginning of the game. So I am a demon too.. Since i read a few posts where players claimed their demon status. i am doing it so as well.

I wasn't given shards during day in the game, which means there are people who could give shards during the night phase. Lets assume that I am mafia, which means there is no way i would be able to give shards to myself to activate my demonic powers which means I need to depend on someone else to grant me shards which makes that people who can grant shards during the night not necessarily have to be a scum.

Do you believe that i somehow managed to convince town with my superplay to give shards during the night while publically I didn't receive a single shard during day?

bork generally provides fakeclaims that are intended to line up well with any scum roles. You can look at Xenoblade II for an example; there was one fakeclaim per scum team member, and they hewed closely to what the actual scum powers were (to minimize odds of being caught out via night actions) while matching flavor for the town fakeroles. (so for example, a scum neighborizer wouldn't be given a town tracker fakeclaim)

Scum have to use them properly (again, see Xenoblade II) but bork is likely to have included them.

The first one is more similar to this game. Take a particular look at her interactions with Gustavo for comparison with her interactions with players scumreading her in this game. She replaced into this game and used that as an excuse to slow-roll her activity catching up.

The second one, she was replaced. She was a lot less aggro in this game and I think I would have scumread her for that alone.

I can't remember if I posted the last game I played with scum-her. I think it was the only game I've played with scum-her. The game started in late 2014. I shared it with Bell, but I don't think I posted it here. She was super-aggro and insulting with the Inno Child when he voted her. Her scum-partner GreyICE was also very insulting to the IC. That was the behavior that most stuck with me, and I've never seen scum go after an IC quite like that in other games. It's usually town who get snarky, oddly enough.

This is also a Medea game. They had a slow start due to Cabd moving to Chicago during the game. I think we both townread in the game AA because we associated the OMGUSSY stuff with her town game. She got tilted by GreyICE bussing her and yelled at him in the mafia PT. That was her last post in the PT before she was replaced. It kinda stood out that she didn't go whoooTILT at GreyICE, after the dust settled and their slots flipped.

I dont have scum meta. there are many other town games I have similar behavior. Go and check yourself!!

What is wrong with what i said? I really don't have scum meta at all because I haven't played as many scum games as i played for town, and honestly I don't have a playstyle as a scum. And those who think I am lying about my understanding of the game flavor or setup. I read it twice but still didn't make sense to me. So I won't bother trying to make any sense of it anymore.

I fought enough for this town. When I fully claimed I was coming out as honest as could be but it was twisted by scum and accused me for a fake name from google search. It is what it is, it as much as town responsibility also to believe a person. If this town is so bad it perhaps deserves to lose.

And about how i am playing this game, I lost my energy after spiffeh corrupt theory, I haven't been invested much because i saw a sudden flip of my town reads twisting their reads on me because some fabricated theory. I am going with the flow.

This game has been the most painful game of all games I played on MS.

Shameless to those who tossed my name around like some playing ball... and the worst part that a lot of assumptions and judgements were made on me.
Who has given you the right to say I won't stand by to what I said? Do you have proof that I said something and I didn't comply with it? That is extremely disgraceful.

I hate the scum this game. You think you're being opportunistic by picking on me but the fact is that you're an evil manipulator and I will not forgive you for the mental trauma you're putting me through this game. Whoever you're I am going to hate you for a long time for this. You hurt me! You really did!

I don't care about this game.

you can eliminate me right or I can play by your rules to hammer Snarky. I have nothing to be afraid of but only to prove to some dickheads how wrong they are about me!

Luke, I said what I have to say and did what I felt it in that moment. If that was right or wrong it didn’t mattered to me because from my point of view , how i was treated was wrong and I am still being treated bad.

Would like if someone call you bully? I guess and that’s the title I got now. So if my play hurt town but the whole town hurt me. I had biggest town tell but still people blamed with some crazy theory. So I self voted but did made everyone else vote me? So loosing this game is not on me. It’s on every fail town member. The only difference is that I didn’t care to loose because I was betrayed by my own town.
