You didn't say if, you said when. I think you slipped. No, I don't know if Sly is a townie. I'm saying that we could be back on square one if sly or caboose are townies, as this entire argument will have ended up fairly fruitless.
I'd love to vote sly, but I can't yet tell if this is his usual style of play. The last time I played with him, he pretty much single-handedly drove two players to replace out, one being TSQ. So, at the moment I think RBT is more likely scum.
Thanks for joining us, ghostwriter. Anything else you'd like to add now that you're chiming in?

Civility is overrated. It's also a nice way of saying that you'd rather not step on any toes, which can actually be pretty scummy if you consider that a townie is much more expendable to the town than a scumperson is to the mafia, therefore a townie has much less reason to worry about stepping on toes.
Arguing for the sake of arguing is a great way to fluster scum and make them slip up. Arguing is really the only tool we have. This isn't the red hat society.
Hogwash: vaquero

Catching up!
Could be a mafia tracker. Obviously he'd be lying about watching sly then. There's a cop and a tracker in a 12 player game? I find that a little hard to swallow.
These mini themes have to have the set-up approved, don't they? I highly doubt anyone would let a death milleranda miller in a set-up fly. At any rate, Der Hammer would kill his modding career and reputation on MS doing so.
CC, you are amazing. Never have I seen anyone defend dead scum until now. Tenchi and vaquero both make me nervous because of their tentativeness, More so Tench with that last "Huge FOS." Really? He's not at l-1 so just vote him. There's a good bit of difference between playing smart and playing too carefully, and I'm getting the feeling that at least one of the two of you is trying real hard not to step on any toes.
CC, though... You lay out a case on somebody and you expect othersnot/i] to comment on it? I also was under the impression that this was intended to be up for discussion. I dunno, maybe it was because you said
beforehand, which implies that it was fair game for commentary. Now you're saying it's not, and you're FOSing people for commenting on it, so... Really?I will shortly compile the list of reasons why rofl is scum

RBT, just claim the fricking book and author.
There is some info that town should try to deprive scum of (like a power role, which you've already given), but for the most part, it's the town that's in the dark, and any light you can shed is helpful. In this case, I don't know how helpful it will really be, but I also find it strange you are so adamant about not speaking up.
Now claim already so we can see where Jazz is going with this. The only oddity about your nameclaim I can see doesn't point to any alignment, but maybe I'm missing something. In Tartiflette We Trust-

Caboose, when you say Sim is "falling fast," do you mean looking scummier or less scummy?
If I were to get on the RBT wagon right now, that'd be a hammer, and discussions is clearly not done yet, so calm down. You're not on the RBT wagon either, so I'm not sure what the hell you're trying to imply anyway... You're acting as though we already know that RBT is scum and that I must be scum because I've avoided the wagon. So... where does that put you?CC wrote:But really though, his lurking through both days bothers me, as well as his unwillingness to be on neither the SlySly or RBT wagons.
About RBT - he has yet to provide a good reason to be voting rofl. So far, his reasoning is 'I'm a townie and he's trying to lynch me,' which is blatant omgus. I'll hammer if necessary, but I still like my vote better. In Tartiflette We Trust-

whose replacement are you looking for? Caboose is asking not to be replaced now.
If people can't get their night actions in on time, that's too bad for them. They don't get to make a night choice. Otherwise, I think some mods randomly make the choice for them, but check w/ somebody experienced on that.

rofl, why do you not see gw as the possible last scum, if that is our setup (I don't see how a sk would make sense given the pace of nks)?
Sim, I still don't see what it is about Tenchi's role we would need to know. Isn't it enough and safe to assume he was playing for the mafia but the mafia wasn't aware he was part of their team? He was part of both the sly and rbt wagons, so he has clearly done some bussing.
Interesting to note that vaquero was his third choice and now Sim is trying to stop any bussing-strategy speculation. In Tartiflette We Trust-

I know. I was kinda disappointed when I got my role. I don't know where everyone is getting the idea that our novels have to beclassicliterature, though. This is "Legends of Literature" and the opening flavor post describes an author pooling together characters from his favorite books. As an English major, I wouldn't call the JB seriesliteratureper se, but it fits the vague limits of the theme.
Quite frankly, the claimed books are so all over the board, the one that seems the most out of place is Moby Dick. Seems like the most likely fakeclaim.
Jazz, thanks for clarifying the RBT thing. That's kinda what I thought you were going after, but it didn't seem like a huge issue to me. I have M from James Bond, so I was already questioning the mod's taste/knowledge/definition of literature (sorry, DH).In Tartiflette We Trust-

See, I'm not even James Bond, though, which is getting to my point:icemanE wrote:Hmm, still not seeing how Moby Dick is out of place in Legends of Literature - especially coming from James Bond!
Everyone here has a pretty... out of the ordinary, non-obvious character, except for you. Ishmael from Moby Dick is pretty obvious, so it seems more likely as a faked claim.-

Just look at the other characters here. None of them are obvious characters that first come to mind when one thinks legends of lit, and few of them are even main characters. This is the motley crew of legends of lit, except for Ishmael. It seems the most likely one that somebody would have said, "Oh shit, I need a fakeclaim, so, I'll pick a really famous book and its main character."
That's all there is to it.In Tartiflette We Trust-

Look, I don't see anyone else as being likely to be the SK, so I'd vote you anyway, but I'm comforted by the feeling that your claim seems the most likely to be faked, like,
'I need to claim a famous book... ok, Moby Dick... Call me Ishmael...'
Narrator with famous name/main character, little difference inthiscontext. You don't need to tell me what the difference is in the world of literature. In Tartiflette We Trust-
