Mini 991 - POWERFUL WIZARD MAFIA (GAME)

Dammit! Forgot this game existed. I used "Watched Topics" pretty religously before the move.

Let's see. Reading Page 1, I'm looking at Parama and Smash Bros. No reason that is going to convince anyone though. I'd probably vote Smash Bros over Parama. Andrius comes in a close 3rd.

K, Page 2. Smash Bros and Andrius are scummy. Karma/Budja/Dramonic/Suave are all meh.

Page 3, still Smash Bros and Andrius as top suspects. I actually see Karma's "I'm lazy" as a towntell. I can't see scum coming right out with that. Dramonic and Budja's votes look town though.

So suspects are Smash Bros, Andrius, and Suave. Might also end up looking towards Empking, but I'd like to see how his play develops. I like to think I'm good at reading him.

About RVS wagoning, it's not about "OMG WE MIGHT LYNCH THEM", it's more like... you're trying to fit in or something. Kind of staying in the background doing what is popular. Site meta is that bandwagoning isn't really a scumtell early in a game, so people subconsiously view it as a towntell although scum do tend to do it.

The thing that I disliked most about the second post is that I didn't even realize it was "RQS" for a second. Not sure why, but that bothered me. Using RQS itself isn't a scumtell as I've seen a few people do it, but it doesn't help town. Laying a vote says so much more than "Hey, what time zone is everyone in?". I can accept that as a playstyle difference though.

TM probably isn't a good idea to be doing for practically everyone in the game. I feel like it will get mostly ignored if it becomes a theme. Let me just give a rundown of quick mostly one-liner thoughts on everyone.

Empking- Meta says scum so far, but it's early, so hard to tell.
Parama- Actually looks town for once.
TheButtonmen-I wanted to say town until I looked at him in ISO just now. I think the early wagon got to me. Looks scummy in ISO.
Karma-Giving off massive towntells with almost every post.
Budja-I'm seeing town. Mostly because of the "mild gut town" reads.
Super Smash Bros. Fan-Posts seem carefully worded which is a playstyle that tends to throw me off. Seems to be my polar opposite as far as playstyles. Gonna be a tough cookie to read here.
Dramonic- Wow his ISO looks so bad. Prime candidate for a vig shot.
ReaperCharlie-Town. Meta.

TM shows 2 1/3 of your first 8 posts as RVS. There's another 5 2/3 posts there. Pretty hard to say I'm attacking you for participating in the RVS with those numbers. The biggest thing I notice in your posts is that the only real content you've given is your response to me calling you scum. Joking around is fine, hell I do it plenty. But there has to be at least

some

attempt at playing the game too.

And no, I didn't expect that to be a real shot. It was obviously intended to look like one though, so I acted like it was. Shame it didn't give us any nice reactions (other than a scumlist from Dramonic). It was a nice try though.

Some people think it's anti-town to give town reads, making lists like mine fall under that "anti-town" category. I obviously disagree. The idea is that giving town reads helps the scum with their NK. But how many times as scum does someone say "Well, Kmd thinks XXXXX is town, so let's kill them". And even if I weren't to straight up say I think a player is town, I'm pretty sure it's not hard to tell. I think it helps town to know what everyone's reads are and I really don't think I'm accidently telling scum who to kill, especially with multiple players listed as town.

I'm quite uncomfortable with an Andrius bandwagon. While Kmd did provide a decent case against him, I'm not really ready to switch votes over. Karma is a better suspect.

I agree that this isn't really that good of a bandwagon. Yes Kmd provided a decent case on Andrius, and as a result, I am slightly suspicious of him, but I'm not ready to throw down a vote yet.
