A policy lynch on shotty should be considered, but he's more likely to massively scum-slip if he's left alive, (see Newbie 981 and GhostBusters Mafia) so we've got him either way.

The policy lynch vote. Katsuki has never voted for a policy lynch in any of his other games, save for one where he jokingly suggested one when he replaced in. So, I think that it's fairly obvious that Kat is scum just looking for a quick and easy bandwagon in the RVS. In addition, we can toss in the fact that two of the players in the game have a vendetta against him, and we'll leave ourselves less open to scum manipulation by cutting the link now.
@Framm: That's a horrible reason for a vote. Why does gandalf being in your first three games on this site make him anymore likely to be scum?-

Ghostbusters Mafia - I reviewed the game, and watched from the Green Room
DMSIS is not good enough to destroy the town by himself. We lynch Katsuki now, there's one buddy gone.-

Actually, Kat. Don't prove us wrong. Let us prove your wrong. Here's a COMPLETE list of completed games you were in:
Newbie 955 Kat was town. Opened up the RVS with some generic SE stuff, then votes someone for not participating in the RVS.
DNA Evidence Kat was town. Defended himaself first, then voted DJ for a creepy avatar.
Newbie 949 Kat was town. Voted for the Mod.
Prison Mafia Kat was town, replaced in. Jokingly suggests a policy lynch of IH.
Mafia War Kat was town. Votes mod again.
So nope, no policy votes there.-

Option one, we hit scum D1 and move on to d2, option 2, we myslynch but get rid of an incredibly anti-town player.
This is one policy lynch I am down with...

Katsuki is today. DMSIS cannot run a scumgroup by himself.
There is scum on almost every wagon, so go ahead and get on this one. Katsuki is the superior lynch.
WE ARE NOT LYNCHING DMSIS NOW. AGAIN FOR EFFECT. DMSIS CLAIMED SCUM IN GHOSTBUSTERS MAFIA.
Its only a matter of time.
And did you miss the fact that KATSUKI CLAIMED MARIO. AND HE DIDN'T SAY IT WAS A JOKE. OBV_SCUM. LYNCH.

Because you are voting for a policy lynch over a real lynch, yes, you are scummy. Because you ignored our case on kat and STILL tried to go through with the same policy lynch he was trying to push, yes, you are scummy.mothrax wrote:So because I am not voting the way you want me to I am scummy? Opportunistic scum would love this to end in a quicklynch. And I am not going to vote for them because you tell me that this isn't the way they play, especially when others are saying otherwise.
If scum quicklynch at L-2, then that means we've lost 1 townie in exchange for netting 2 scum, which is something I can definitely live with. Can't you?

I also have experience with Shotty. He replaced in, nailed scum, got nightkilled. I disapprove of policy lynched because 1) they don't give people a chance to improve, 2) they rarely hit scum, 3) they're lazy, and 4) they lynch anti-town over scum. Now, if you'd like to explain why a Shotty policy lynch will actually be BENEFICIAL to the town (I mean, if you didn't want to play with him, maybe you shouldn't of signed up for the game), then I'll listen. Otherwise, I'll need some reasons for why you're still stuck voting in the RVS and deciding to ignore our legitimate vote completely.-

Why is this? In Newbie games, people actually play smart, and they don't tend to do things they know are blatantly anti-town. You know, like policy-voting?Katsuki wrote:1. INCLUDING NEWBIE GAMES AS PROOF FOR "LACK OF POLICY VOTES" IS LAUGHABLE.
THIS DOESN'T HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING. YOU MADE A BUNCH OF POLICY VOTES ON SHOTTY AROUND THE SAME TIME. IT'S SAFE TO ASSUME YOU'RE COVERING FOR YOUR SCUM GAME IN ONE OF THEM.Katsuki wrote:2. YOUR ORIGINAL POINT WAS WITH ME POLICY VOTING SHOTTY, AND THE FACT THAT I "NEVER" POLICY VOTE. YET, SHOTTY IS ONLY IN ONE OF THOSE GAMES, AND THAT WAS MY FIRST TIME PLAYING WITH HIM TOO.
Nope. Blatantly anti-town. Hell, I'd even call it scummy. You could've drawn a counterclaim from the REAL Mario, who might be our doctor, cop, vig etc, and out him for the scum to pick off. Aw Kat, you want a full case? Here you go, even though I'm probably still wasting my breath.
You piggy-backed onto a policy vote. Policy lynches are inherrantly anti-town (I've explained why, you haven't rebutted any of it yet), and the fact that you piggy-backed onto another's policy lynch means that it required no conscious thought whatsoever. The fact that you haven't policy-voted in any of the games you've been confirmed town in, which is the part you simply LOVE to focus on, is just icing on the scum-cake.
You soft-claimed Mario when you were at L-5. I see no reason for any PROTOWN PLAYER to softclaim what I presume to be an important powerrole on Page 3 of a game, especially since you were only at L-5 at the time. I can see scum doing that, however, softclaiming such a presumably pro-town role is a quick and cheap way to push votes off you without having to fake any abilities whatsover.
Instead of properly defending yourself, you have simply said that "we have no case", called us scum, and proceeded to form one of the most blatant OMGUS tunnels I've ever seen. I mean, you never follow up with any of your other scum reads, and they're pretty much just weak one-liners anyway. This is doubly scummy because you are under pressure; instead of refuting our case, you simply try to discount it by calling us scum.
Your move, scum.-

And here you go, saying things like this. But I'm not in any other games with you. Hell, those games don't even exist to me. So, my original attack is legitimate. It may be a weak attack, but it's still legitimate. The important part was your reaction to it all- flailing, flailing, and more flailing. So. If you want to try to refute my ENTIRE case against you by picking on the RVS attack that started it all, go ahead. It won't work though, and this is because it's a transparent scum tactic- nitpick against the weakest part of the case, and ignore the rest of it. And because it is such, I will ignore any more attempts at this for the rest of the game. Now, if you want our vote off you, try actually defending yourself. Show us where we went wrong, and stop with the fluffposting/deflection bullshit, okay? Okay.Katsuki wrote:
By that logic, gandalf would be scum too, as he policy votes shotty too.Calcifer wrote:

Your original argument was that I never policy-voted. Now you change direction and are trying to turn a GENERAL thing I do at the beginning of every game (with shotty) into a GAME-SPECIFIC scum-tell (in this case, for this game). Going along with the scum philosophy you have for policy votes, then it would mean that I am scum in every game I play. Unless you argue that in every game I policy-vote shotty I'm scum, then your argument of me being scum for policy-voting in THIS game is irrelevant and proves nothing.-

Either:
A) CC'er is not yet posting
B) Mario was a fakeclaim for scum, and scum_Katsuki was looking for a town PR in exchange for his own life
But even if he was CC'd, Katsuki would still get the lynch. You don't claim a mason and then NOT know who your partner is. You don't claim Mason Sibling (which is as bad as Beloved Princess). I'd have a serious talk with Ani if sibling masons were in this game.-
