I'm not voting for you.

I'm voting for Aurorus for jumping on the wagon of distraction. I can take two votes on it, it's a funny joke. Three votes becomes a distraction.

Because that would've been the sensible thing to do.

Let's try this again.

Also, distraction number 2: his typing in a pirate accent. So, that's two strikes.

No, Chesskid.

I've played in Prana games before, and his flavour has nothing to do with alignment.

I didn't say that because he was writing in a pirate accent it made him a pirate and so scummy, I meant that writing in a pirate accent makes it harder to read, which is distracting and scummy.

I know PranaDevil's theme games. I've played them before. I know that names have no bearing on anything.

Elizabeth Swann was a traitor in the last game he ran. Generally, names make jack difference.

I don't really see what there is new for me to respond to in Smargaret's post. They merely ask why anyone else isn't paying attention, not directly asking me anything. likewise, I answered #111 as to why I think typing like a pirate is distracting.

I'm pretty sure I'd be called anti town if I typed in text speak, so I don't get why typing like a pirate is any more acceptable. You can derive what is said from both, but apparently one is acceptable and not the other? No. Likewise, you could type in Spanish, as was suggested, but that's simply causing more consternation and unnecessary trouble for all involved.

I could type everything backwards if I wanted to, but it's anti-town at the very least. So, I don't.

You're right, I was listed as in Coney Island. Big whoop.

I was trying to decide the right way to tell you that I've had some serious shit go down at home, the mod knows, and I may have to be v/la for at least the next 24 hours, and possibly longer.

1. I already explained. It causes unnecessary distractions, in my opinion.
2. Because that's what I think, that's what I was always taught to look at when I first started.
3. No because as I said, I'm v/la
4. I'm v/la, I will look later.
5. I wasn't doing it deliberately, and I've realised my mistake, so once I get un v/la I will re read and give

And yes, I realise the irony of answering whilst v/la, but since none of you paid a blind bit of attention to me saying it in the first place, maybe some reiteration will get it into your heads. I'll have a re read of the thread shortly.

Righto,
I've spoken to the mod, but I should probably post in here also.

I've come down with some kind of flu-like illness, which is fuddling my brain up and not allowing me to do anything. This, coupled with the fact that I've got to go v/la on Wednesday evening for five days anyway has led the two of us to agree that I should be replaced.

I will quickly attempt to address the issues that were brought up:

I didn't wilfully ignore the other posters, I just got so befuddled trying to explain why I thought pirate was scummy and anti-town that I didn't stop to think about anything else. I believe that anything that makes a post hard to read is anti town, with the exception of the occasional typo. Since it's a game where you're looking for the flaws in people's arguments via text based arguments, the inability to decipher something, whether it's intentional or not, causes problems. I saw it as a deliberate attempt to cause confusion and make it harder to read. If it wasn't the case, then fair enough.

Also
unvote
because the replacement needs to have their own opinions.

Re: Third on a wagon = scummy. Generally, it's easier to slip onto a wagon in the middle, and when the flip happens and you look at voting patterns, you tend to look at hammer vote and wagon starters. Third is a happy medium, and allows people to escape suspicion. So, I put the suspicion on immediately rather than waiting for the wagon and possible flip.

I would address other issues, but since I'm replacing out, it seems like a pointless endeavour.

Smargaret and DoomBunny, I hope this at least goes some way into explaining your questions. I didn't intend for any of this to blow up as it did, life has just bitten me in the ass as it invariably does. You may say "oh he hasn't replaced out of his other games: one is a newbie game that's about to hit night, and the other is a large theme game that is pretty stagnant. This one is fairly new, and I would only stifle the discussion further by remaining in the game and not being able to contribute.

I wished to contribute, but obviously through my own mistakes and life, I've been unable to, and I apologise to y'all.
