A section of the newly reconstructed Mako reactor was not obscure enough to serve as Parama's hiding place. He ventured through many holes and broken vents, looking to evade his pursuers. Seeing them positioned both high and low on different sets of scaffolding, he sets further back into a shaft. Coming out the other end, Parama is snatched by a young man in a longcoat with black hair.

? ! ?:
"What is this.. a floating book?"

The young man seems to study Parama as he struggles. Holding onto Parama tightly, the unknown man pries into him for further review.

? ! ?:
"How peculiar."

! ? !:
"Waste no time playing with that thing. We came here for hard materials, not reading material."

Parama:
"What are you two, boyfriends?"

? ! ?:
"It talks as well.. What are you running from?"

Parama:
"I do not have legs. Therefore I am incapable of running anywhere, genius."

The young man, now shown with an older man in similar attire, can't help but smirk as Parama mouths off. Within moments, however, a neon lance is flung their way and impales Parama. After being knocked out of the young man's grasps, Parama finds himself nailed to a wall. The two unknown men turn to the direction the weapon came from, finding two more mysterious men - both with pale hair - across the reactor.

! ? !:
"Interesting.. We will kill them if they get in our way."

Following this, a heli-craft flies from above the exposed reactor. The pilot seems to notice the two groups of men and slows down, making the aircraft turn around. By the time the heli-craft gets in a better position to inspect matters, they only find the neon lance dissipate, causing Parama to plummet down into the depths of the reactor.

As the pilot pulls off, he radios in for all nearby agents to investigate all parts of the reactor closely.

The two pale-haired unknowns made their way out of the reactor. They weren't happy about losing the Grimoire, but they will find more interesting subjects to toy with. Now outside of the building, the two find that there was a nosey bystander not far in the distance. One of the men step up:

"Allow me to handle her.."

With the flick of his wrist, he materializes another neon spear from his palm. The magical weapon finds its way into KDub's chest, breaking out through the backbones. Without seeing his killer, KDub collapses on the ground and the two men proceed past the body. Oblivious to them, they were still being watched...

Moving past the corpses of unidentified/unimportant security officers, Fate studies a grimoire inside an old worn down mansion. After being denied magical knowledge following Parama's demise, he hopes to find an ability of interest from the grimoire in his hands.

Fate:
"Far inferior than that of the Grimoire Weiss.. Perhaps my haste will keep me from finding anything better."

Flipping through a couple pages, Fate's patience wears down. Boredom overcomes his facial expression, as he steps over more dead bodies. A faint noise distracts him... he takes his eyes off the page and glances up through the window, seeing a large flaming object launched his way.

Fate:
"Zoneace...? NO! What is this!?"

Without looking over, Fate rolls to the side and through a doorway leading to the study room. The fiery object breaks through the mansion and rips the wooden structure apart. Fate crawls backwards to see that the abandoned home is slowly setting ablaze.

What he doesn't see is an axe leave its display from the wall. The weapon comes swinging down at Fate's head before he can even detect it, [CONTENT CENSORED DUE TO GRAPHIC USE OF GORE].

A disturbance outside of an Inn startles Ghostlin. He wakes up from a deep sleep, trying to block the sun out of his eyes and now realizes he's been sleeping most of the day. As he walks opens the window to investigate the noise, he sees nothing in sight. Suddenly, he's yanked through the window and thrown outside.

As he recovers, Ghostlin can only think to soothe the bump and practically forgets about the attacker. Ghostlin rubs his head one last time as he fully comes up to his feet.

"I don't like you."

A voice says behind Ghostlin's back. Turning around to the voice, Ghostlin finds himself pummeled over the head and repeatedly beat while on the ground. A noise comes from elsewhere that causes the assailant to leave Ghostlin in his banged up shape.

"We've found the perp!"

The Turks come in full force as they surround Zyrconium on an elevated platform. They find him exploring a closed-off Shinra laboratory. He pulls himself away from a computer just as he finishes saving several files to his data storage device, looking at the suited agents with their weapons ready.

Zyrconium:
"Is there a problem? I'm simply a man conducting research.."

Turk Agent:
"Sure, and these bodies just so happened to be here and you had nothing to do with it, right?"

Cackling as he looks at the slain bodies of dead officers, Zyrconium is carefree about being cornered. Adjusting his glasses, he looks towards the ground... Attempting to catch the group off guard, Zyrconium swiftly draws a pistol from his inner coat pocket.

The result only sees him wound one of the Turks, as the others quickly unload every projectile they have at him. With his body halfway covered in arrows and smoke-protruding holes, Zyrconium wheezes in his weakened state, dropping the gun and using what little energy he has left to bring out a piece of materia.

Zyrconium:
"I will... I will enjoy... ripping your HEADS off.."

Coincidentally, the zirconiade materia enables Zyrconium to transform into a hideous super beast. His fleshy limbs elongate into sharp claws, as he rushes over to assault the Turks. Instead of dismembering body parts, however, Zyrconium blindly charges towards a railing and slices it open, as the Turks side step him. Zyrconium ends up heading past the railing and glances down at the long pitfall of doom that awaits him.

Sucks that this was my busiest work week. I would have loved to write more extensive battle scenes than what I had time for. I liked both scum teams. They ALL wagoned GreyICE during phase 2, and I believe it was both Parama and GreyICE that eventually pegged the proper teams. Zyr & GW did good to reserve their kill for the right target, but by that point they had been linked to each other. Grey's gut did him some good.

There really wasn't, if I may say so. I'm not sure how Grey figured out you and Fate were on a team but that was the turning point. From what I've gathered, it was actually Fate that pegged Zyrc & GW.

Being biased, I am curious to know from Zyrc himself if his comment about Fate catching him was a scumslip.

Acting suspicious, getting lynched AND linking yourself to your partner is nothing I can be held accountable for. Reserving the ONE mafia kill you had was important but iirc you chose to kill Kdub to frame Grey. I also can't be held accountable for that plan being unsuccessful.

I don't see the executioner as conftown in a closed setup, ESPECIALLY since the last executioner in my game was scum. That was a good point brought up as well - Close but no cookie, or however the saying goes.
