To get an idea of peoples' knowledge of the flavor to see if people will be able to understand what characters would be good or bad if people nameclaim and such. I didn't know the flavor of X-Files mafia and wish that I had.

People always get more than one vote in RVS all the time. It is not that strange of an occurence.

The only difference is, I wasn't voting him, I was voting you. Then I unvoted you and voted someone else. And then you voted that someone else without expressing any previous suspicion of him, even though you directly quoted the post that supposedly later made you suspect him, joking about it. Therefore, you look opportunistic, and your defense thusfar has been thoroughly underwhelming.

I don't believe you. I think you knew that that wasn't the hammer, and what really gave you away to me was your first sentence there. That does not come across as genuine to me, it seems as though you are trying to AtE once again. meransiel and ABR come across as terribly scummy from that exchange as well, especially meransiel. The hammer was uncalled for? LOL. It should have been obvious to him and to everyone else that that was not the hammer. He then gave what appeared to me to be a non-genuine AtE, and then he got the hammer. You were voting him too, so you supported his lynch. What was really uncalled for was the absurd jester gambit. It was completely unnecessary as there are plenty of other people the scum could have roleblocked (if they have a RB) so its not like you were going to absolutely be target number one for them to RB. It was anti-town and led to more confusion for the town, and completely made Day 1 worthless for getting reads. As ill-planned as it was, I don't think ABR is likely scum, though a one-shot SK is not completely out of the question, but I will

I explained why I asked the flavor question (which isn't some bizarre question to ask in a themed game) and I asked about a massclaim because we have already taken heavy losses and having a better understanding of who have what roles would narrow down who may or may not be scum.

One-shot SK is entirely plausible, and yes I do make "crazy" suggestions all the time, as town and scum. Check my wiki for meta, Mini 1120 is my most recent game as scum and is full of crazy suggestions.

It was obvious that NA1 seriously thought that he was dead, just read his posts. And then Pappum's immediately comes in and goes like "HEY, THAT WASN'T THE HAMMER AND YOU KNOW IT" and hammers without a second thought. His excuse that it was AtE is a little suspect, mainly because I really don't think that post was really AtE as much as being as honest as possible.

His "oh I have no reason to lie nao, I'm dead, I'm town dummies" did not sound sincere to me. Take a look back at Mini 1105, Tasky attempted to see what someone's reaction would be after throwing a fake hammer (he was already voting for the player), and IMO looking for reactions after a hammer-that-was-not-really-a-hammer is a good scumhunting technique. The VC was right there, and ABR's unvote then re-vote for NA1 was directly under it. It should have been obvious to everyone (except Meransiel obviously :/ ) that that was not the hammer.

This game is an example of why minimum experience requirements are a good idea if I've ever seen one. :erk:
