Hmmm, but you need to generate a random number between 1 and 12 and ignore 2 values, or count the 6th living person which should be Lloyd. Still, its your funeral.Mastermind of Sin wrote:vote: Mastermind of Sin
Vote N_lichcos he is number 11.
unvote, vote: Lloyd
However, I like the other idea suggested.

I have just been notified that some people think I was personally insulting Alexander with this post. I would like to reassure you that my use of this phrase in no way is meant as an insult. This is a game, and I don't play this game to insult people. I did not direct any insults at Alexander. Thank you for allowing me to clarify.Mastermind of Sin wrote:

which statement of mine were you referring to?chaotic_diablo wrote:IMO, both MOS and Alexander are making things up. It is to my belief that Norinel made an observation that strongly disagrees with Lloyd's. MOS and Alexander's accusation all seem a bitmisplaced.
Norinel implies that Lloyd's intention to gauge reactions is scummy, but Norinel himself is doing the same thing.

the only reason I was saying this was b/c Alexander was making assumptions about things supposed implied by previous statements, then putting them in quotes as if they were a direct quotation.chaotic_diablo wrote:
Post 45 and beyond. The part where you exagerate that Alexander just "made" the information up and that it's all false. Especially when you can even find something decent out of his argument. I'm pretty sure Alexander had something to work with instead of coming up with things out of thin air.Mastermind of Sin wrote:

Since most mods don't allow themselves to be lynched, and in this game the mod hinted that we could try, the next logical step was to try and lynch him and see what happened. As such, things DID happen, and we were informed that we could not lynch the mod. I don't see what the problem is.stikey wrote:Hey everyone! I'm the new Alexander, except with a significantly less adorable avatar.
I skimmed through the thread once, and I'll read through again late tonight -- around 10 pm Eastern time, most likely. After that, I'll post a thorough summary of what's gone on so far, so that I can make sure I'm caught up.
Icansay, initially, that I'm suspicious of those who would support lynching the mod. I think that doing so, while resulting in possibly amusing consequences, also probably wastes a lynch. Moreover, lynching the mod seems like a bad idea for flavor reasons as well (since he's our commander and all). So yeah, if you advocate strongly lynching the moderator, you're suspicious in my book. Of course, I can't be certain that someone didn't vote for the mod simply because of the irreverence of doing so, or because of the potential for hilarity. But it does draw my suspicion.Permanent V/LA.-

I concur.evilandy wrote:@N_Lich: I kind of see your point. I think I'm viewing it a little less harshly and so I am not suspicious of the unvote.
At the moment I am more suspicious of the behaviour of Alexander regarding the various Lloyd related issues. Specifically the "thought bubble" and the "seriously" debacles:
Alexander wrote:The part in italics appears in what comics writers call a "thought bubble".
However as he has been replaced I'm not sure I could vote stikey on it.Alexander wrote:Thus, I'm serious about selling you the Brooklin Bridge.Permanent V/LA.-

no one's making it difficult. I was just answering his question in general. I didn't even consider any aspects of this game while answering his post.chaotic_diablo wrote:Don't making this more complicated than it really is. I have no idea what to call Lloyd's point other than WIFOM. The only other word is 'circular' logic but that sounds stupid, so WIFOM is better. I use it for anything that deals with that kind of logic.
I find it funny that people are more willing to complain about the wording/definition of things instead of the point trying to be made.
stikey, Accusing someone of WIFOM logic is only serious under certain conditions. It's really up to you if you think the accusation is serious or not.
Evilandy, an experienced player does not mean the player is good at the game. You can see many instances where an experienced player can blunder and make all sorts of mistakes.Permanent V/LA.-

If you think THAT was a quick bandwagon, you should see the bandwagon on Mastermind of Sin.SpamWise wrote:Ooh. I'd vote for Masterchief, but then Mastermind of Sin would be left alone. It was a pretty quick bandwagon, likely there's scum, or even multiple scum on the wagon.

unvote, vote: Masterchief
Placing a vote on a quick bandwagon as his first post of the game and then just saying it was due to newbieness but also refusing to unvote or give further reasoning to redeem himself? Further more, he tries to pressure other people because they question his actions. Not to mention that he expects people to forgive him for making a mistake like that after voting for me, when the main reason for my wagon is because I made a mistake? Give me a break.Permanent V/LA.-

this is pure craplogic. I have made several posts since you made your mistake, so I certainly wasn't "quick" to jump on you. I took my time and reread the thread before deciding where to place my vote. As for you making mistakes and getting jumped on for it, I don't see how you can cry about that when you're voting me for making a mistake. You're just being hypocritical on top of everything else.Masterchief wrote:MoS sounds suspicoius to me about how even though i did very newbish things he was quick to jump and act on me.Permanent V/LA.-

lol if you find evilandy confrontational, you've got a long way to go. I would say that I'm generally for more confrontational and aggressive, and I'm nowhere near the end of the spectrum.evilandy wrote:
Hey, sorry Masterchief. I don't hate you. Yes you have made a few mistakes, and we have pushed you on them. But you must remember, mistakes or not, newbie or not, you could be scum.Masterchief wrote:Alrihgt, I've pretty much gathered that so far... you all hate me.

there are so many things wrong with that post I don't even know where to start...Masterchief wrote:Alright, I admit that was pretty scummy but my point is we've been sitting here bickering non-stop. In the meantime, the mafia is planing who to kill. (probably me) The point is we need to figure out who the mafia is and usually we can only do this after night. So sitting around yelling isn't going to make this go any faster. We need to take action and get that final vote so we can lynch whoever is hopefully mafia.Permanent V/LA.-

At least I didn't give you a fake excuse to try and win you over.ubertimmy wrote:I don't know who's scummier - MoS or Masterchief. MoS gave a final vote with no reason and then a terrible excuse the day after. Masterchief has claimed he has a Power Role that can be confirmed at night. I can't think of what could do this that wouldn't have already been used by N_Lich. Can you please explain, Masterchief? I don't want to fish, but something like this is too vague and unkown for me. He then makes posts calling for a lynch... but not specifying on who. He's still voting for MoS. Masterchief, do you think he's scummy? I feel like you're trying to avoid saying his name, and I have no idea why. Also, he's- - Jumped onto a bandwagon with his first post.

care to explain your vote? Anyone can just give a list of suspicion, but it doesn't mean anything unless you give reasoning. I'm sure I could supply the reasoning for you, but I'd like to know why you yourself decided I was the scummiest. It will be a good thing to note once we start looking at other people as scum.Permanent V/LA.-

btw, if u wanna know why my activity and play has been changing, I just recently found out that I wasn't the role I thought I was. I had been playing the entire game based on one role when I was actually another. Not that my alignment changed, but what I was capable of certainly did.Permanent V/LA.-

i'm voting you for the reasons so nicely presented by evilandy on the previous page. Also, how does it not make sense? Seems pretty clear to me. I thought I was one role, but in fact I am another. That's all there is to it...stikey wrote:Norinel:
You mean you investigated Twomz, not Vyolynce, right? Because that's what you said before.

Is there any reason why you've voted for me (without explanation, as you've tended to do with almost every vote you've cast so far?)
Also, I'm reasonably certain that what you've said about finding out that you weren't the role you thought you were makes no sense at all.Permanent V/LA.-

I didn't kill last night b/c I didn't have enough of a read on anyone to make sure of my target. I didn't want to miss the scum and then lose the game b/c of it. I do have to say that lynching me while I was out of town for 2 days was pretty frickin' lame, no matter the alignment of those doing the voting.Permanent V/LA.-
