I don't like that IH, a fairly experienced player, voted for N-L when I think it's blatantly obvious that he's bad townie. So
vote:IH
. Other than that, I'm not familiar with you all, so reads will take time. Mlaker should post more.

How so? I misinterpreted what he said, and I came to a false conclusion. He corrected my misinterpretation, and I went on.
Looks contrived. He says something not all that consequential, you accuse him of something, he rebukes you, then you unvote quickly. Later you can claim that at one point you suspected him and weren't giving him a free pass, etc.

Nekka-Lucifer was modkilled for out of thread communication (sending a PM about the game to A Papaya as mentioned earlier in the thread).

Midnight Sun (and StallingChamp) are currently banned from the site for the events of Newbie 377, and hence needed to be replaced.
I thought MidnightSun was someone else's sockpuppet. What did SC have to do with it?

Anyway, on topic, I think I'm going to

I'm pretty sure about this one... just look at his posts in isolation. Says a lot without saying anything, pushes lynches without trying to appear to be pushing them... I'm comfortable with this vote.

Stop trying to tell the town what to do.

And you'll notice that in the two games so far in which I've died (N354 and M448), I've had an aggresive playstyle and I've been scum. So if you're argument is that I'm scum because that's not how I'm playing, then your logic is horribly flawed.

Flawed logic comes from deceitful purposes; deceitful purposes come from scum.

Unvote
Vote: Yogurt Bandit
And bringing up your own playstyle differences isn't flawed? That's Grade-A 100% WIFOM. "I played like this in scum game A, no way I'm scum in this one!"

And why are you not voting for me? You're all over the place, man.

TCS: You revised your thoughts on Xdaamno and removed your vote. However, you didn't put it back on YogurtBandit, who you were confident about earlier. Why not? The only reason you unvoted Yogurt in the first place was to put pressure on Xdaamno. Have you revised your thoughts about Yogurt? If so, why?

Hey, let me just post this now just to post something at all... I'll try to finish up the pbpa's sometime this century.

The aforementioned "long version"

A papaya

1. RV: Mcstab
2. Jokes with xdaamno
3. Jokes with Nekka-Lucifer
12. Votes Nekka-Lucifer for "sucking [sic] at mafia"
14. Unvotes Nekka after being PMed by him
16. No idea who to vote for
21. Comes out against no-lynch
25. Votes McStab for lurking on purpose

Overall: A papaya doesn't give out a whole lot of information. He doesn't often comment upon the scumminess of other players. In most situations, I would find this pretty scummy, but his choices haven't been terribly damning. Not necessarily an auto-lynch, but someone to keep in mind for later days if he neglects to contribute further.

Fletcher

1. Votes Nekka-Lucifer for uncertain reasons
3. Unvotes Nekka-Lucifer for uncertain reasons
5. Votes Xdaamno for vote hopping
11. Indicates that he would be ok with a no-lynch, but prefers to lynch
12. A little wishy washy here. Gives a good argument that no-lynch would benefit the town if Nekka-Lucifer comes up scum, says that he thinks there's a 'good chance' of Nekka being scum, and then declines to vote no-lynch. This play looks like he's trying very hard not to stick his neck out.
14. Asks mlaker about his thoughts on the game.

Overall: Not the lynch for today. He posts a decent amount of content, and thus is not a great candidate for us to get rid of just yet. His waffling defense of no-lynch and suspicion of Nekka's scumminess puts up a red flag in my mind, but it's not enough to lynch today. If Nekka-Lucifer does happen to come up scum, I would definitely encourage the town to give Fletch another look.

Haschel Cedricson

2. Casts suspicion on Nekka for being scummy and/or new. Has a gut feeling about xdaamno hiding in plain sight.
3. Votes mlaker for basically joke reasons
6. Misstates the odds on lynching scum tonight. Might be bad math, and if Nekka is scum, could be a definite scumtell. Pretty inconsequential at the moment. Comes out against no-lynch. FOS's Yogurt for suggesting no-lynch and xyzzy for advocating not lynching every night. Votes Fletcher for trying to lead the town to believe that Nekka was scum. States that he believes Nekka was town.
10. FOS's McStab, not sure why yet.

Overall: Haschel's play is pretty unclear to me at the moment. I'd need to see more of him before I can make a call. I don't like his vote on mlaker and I definitely don't like his Fletch vote. It seems pretty contrived. He votes Fletch for making the assumption that Nekka was scum, which then makes one wonder if Haschel knows whether or not Nekka was town. Definitely a figure to look at.

Haut Boy/inHim

1. Votes xyzzy, random?
2. Votes Nekka for making a pretty dumb statement.
3. Calls Nekka on bad argument
---Becomes inHim---
1. Posts something so useful to me that I'll repost:
inHim wrote: Nekka-Lucifer (5): (MidnightSun, Fletcher, IH, A Papaya, Haut Boy)
Also votes Haschel after first reading.
2. Quickly switched vote to xdaamno, following me.
4. Identifies xdaanmo, xyzzy, and mlaker as his top suspects.

Overall: I'm pretty sure this guy is town. I don't like the play of inHim as much as I did Haut Boy's.

IH

1. Votes Fletcher.
4. Votes Nekka for trying to make an intentional claim seem innocuous.
5. Votes Yogurt, not sure why
8. Votes papaya for pretty legit reasons

Overall: Not a whole lot yet. He has pretty decent reasons for voting papaya (and Nekka, though in hindsight I contradict myself). I need him to post more.

McStab

1. RV: Yogurt
2. Expresses amusement at Haschel's badlogic
3. Comes out against no-lynch.
4. I don't really like this post at all. A
FOS:McStab
for trying to say alot while saying nothing, and justifying his lurking.
5. Says he thinks Haschel is innocent, Yogurt is scummy, and that xdaamno can't be scummy because he's in the spotlight too much. I really, really don't like this reasoning.

Overall: I don't like McStab's play all that much. Saying a lot but not really saying anything is pretty scummy behavior. His reasoning clearing xdaamno was incredibly specious, leading me to think that if xdaamno comes up scum at some point, McStab might be on his team.

mlaker

1. Votes TCS, pure OMGUS.
3. Unvotes on 'a hunch'.
5. Comments on xdaamno as his top choice for scum, but neglects to vote him.

Overall: I'd like to see more content from mlaker. I'm a little suspicious of the fact that mlaker instantly voted me for an admittedly weak reason and he's not willing to do the same for xdaamno here.
FOS: mlaker

Nekka-Lucifer
- For completeness

1. Votes a papaya
3. Unnecessarily claims townie
8. Makes a "maybe when I'm mafia" statement, that makes me uncomfortable.
14 & 15. Points to A papaya as possible scum. This could go either way for me.

OVerall: I'm pretty sure Nekka was just bad town, but there is certainly a chance that he is scum. Therefore, in my estimation, we should ignore the possibilities of his alignment and focus on who is the best lynch
today
. We can vote based on his alignment when we actually know it.

The rest as I have time/motivation.

First, I think mlaker is pretty scummy. it seems like he acknowledges that hes been lurking and hasnt really tried to help out the town at all. he could be scum, or is just lazy. I need more posts from him to vote for him but he could quite possibly recieve my vote if he stays inactive. The next person I believe to be scum ATM is TCS. Frankly, i dont like the way hes been playing and it really doesnt seem protown at all.

I dont know who he thinks he is giving orders but i dont like it. Also, while i am on the subject, i know some of your opinions may be affected by metagameness (sp?). i have not been part of this forum for long but i have noticed a lot of players treat the more "accomplished" members differently than others. I dont care about your games in the past or what you have done. So if TCS is a vet or something... it doesnt matter to me. a lot of older members around here act like "tough guys" or "hot shots" but i think that is baloney. just because youve been here a while, doesnt mean yr better then anyone else.
now that ive got that rant out of the way, is there any more specific questions any1 has for me?

oh and given my argument above, i will
vote: TCS
I'm not a "vet." I'm not even good. I think you'll realize how bad this vote is once you see how many people say things like "lynch this guy now kthx." It's just poor logic. You should vote for who you think is most scummy, not who you dislike personally.

I voted inHim because I was suspicious of him yesterday, and his part in the quicklynch of a townie didn't exactly enamor me of him.

However,
unvote
for the time being.

I think it unlikely that both mafia were on the lynching wagon yesterday, as at least one tends to try not to pile on. Therefore, one of myself, xdaamno, and Fletcher are probably scum. That's my take at the moment.

You're saying I wouldn't mention my name as possible scum based on a site-wide generalization if I were scum. I would. But don't let that screw you up. The percentages say that you or Fletch have a greaterlikelihood of being scum.

IhHim and xyzzy are scum together.

Mini-PBPA of inhim:

2 - Follows me.
8 - Hops to mlaker when nothings doin
9 - Hops to schiz when lynching looks good
10 - Unvotes schiz because xyzzy defends him

11 - "Meh, I just want someone to hang."
14 - Revotes schiz
16 - Fos's Sonic
18 - Sucks up to sonic
20 - Votes xyzzy because of his "behavior toward" schiz

Mini-PBPA of xyzzy:

Pre-20 - Finds it difficult to accuse anyone
21-22 - Responds to TCS critique of this
22 - Votes Yogurt
29 - votes schiz 1st time
32 - unvotes schiz after reading Inhim's rationale, saying "this is how [schiz] always plays"

34 - Votes stab, who he's kept on the back burner all game
39 - attacks xdaamno for appealing to playstyle
(when he unvoted schiz while appealing to playstyle)

42 - "agrees" with ihhim, hops back onto schiz

possibly

But to be totally honest, ever since xyzzy came up scum I've been thinking xdaamno. His last few posts seem like desperate scum treading water.

Didn't say they both had to be scum, just that both are under suspicion.

There you go assuming numbers of scum again. I know it's typical of games this size, but... you've been around for three and a half months. I didn't know the typical number of scum in a 12-player game at 3.5 months.

Can we please lynch xdaamno?
