*Adds up the triple-6, the 1 and the 5*
750 points is mine! I won't push my luck, since that was rather good to begin with.
The CES-lynch wagon's looking pretty tempting right now, and his pro-town roleblocker claim seems a little off to me. Keep in mind that this game's roleset was designed to morph based on Farkle results. As such, I don't find something as specialized as an RB particularly plausible as a "default" town role.FoS: CES
I would strongly push for a vig no-kill tonight. Someone earlier in the thread compared the vigilante to a "second lynch," but there is one crucial difference. The vig isn't getting the full feedback of the town when he/she makes the kill. This makes a town (or even protown power role) nightkill a disturbingly real possibility."Truth is beautiful, without doubt; but so are lies."

Meh... during the day, everyone is a "town influence" (including the mafia). No offense, but a vigilante's decision willThesp wrote:If they choose on their own (and are town, which seems quite likely), then their decision is based 100% on town influence.alwaysbe based on what is said in discussion. Unless they have some combined investigative role, the vig is probably doing the same thing as any other townie and looking for scummy behavior in the thread. Vanilla townies can always reconsider their votes and unvote as necessary, but once a vigkill has been made, there's no turning back. I'm simply advising caution here.
On the other hand, I completely agree with you about the lurking. Even if they aren't scum trying to fly under the radar, the players who have avoided posting aren't helping the town at all."Truth is beautiful, without doubt; but so are lies."

Disappointing, but absolutely true. On the other hand, I'm not sure how necessary the turns are if everyone gets a Farkle roll or two in.Nai wrote:Mokina's roll is void because it wasn't her turn. This seems like an awfully early assumption. If CES turns up scum tomorrow,ThAdmiral wrote:Having read day one again I feel that if we lynch ces and he turns up scum we will find more scum from the following:
Seol (bird1111) - didn't vote ces (reasoning that this person was not cogito ergo sum) and jumped on the growing nocmen wagon instead.
Mokina (a3maniac, mojo) - looking back I find it suspicious that mojo put pressure on nearly everyone except ces, especially when there was, in my opinion, at leastsomegood reason to.
Thesp - basically avoided talking to or about ces all day 1. Also didn't vote him.thenwe can start talking about who didn't feel comfortable lynching him."Truth is beautiful, without doubt; but so are lies."

Fair enough. I certainly find him suspicious, if not enough to cast a vote.ThAdmiral wrote:@ Mokina: but dagger told me to discuss stuff today....
Who am I supposed to listen to!!!
Eh, I just felt I wanted to see if there were anyone with any obvious connections to ces.
There weren't. But there were a few with tenuous ones, and if (when) ces turns out to be scum we will have the jump on them."Truth is beautiful, without doubt; but so are lies."

No matter who the cop is, they should take into account the possibility of sanity issues. CES's reasoning makes a lot of sense, admittedly. Pointing it out would be very protown if he wasn't expecting a roleclaim.
Except he is. He wants the entire thread to know the cop's identity, and that's a rather scummy motive.

Quite honestly, the cop should be making his/her own choices about when to stay undercover and when to reveal. I'm slightly bothered by CES's attempts to expose said cop as early as D2, not to mention the suspicious roleblocker claim. The latter doesn't seem like a plausible story in this setup. On the other hand, there are definitely plenty of mafia who stand to profit from CES's rolefishing.Thesp wrote:Why the frick would CES want the whole thread to know the cop's identity? Wouldn't that key in the doctor to who the cop is? That, it seems to me, would be bad for scum.
Nice to know you're not jumping to conclusions. I've noticed you're being very defensive of CES today. Care to comment?Thesp wrote:Thanks for outing yourself as kilmenator's partner. Die Mokina die."Truth is beautiful, without doubt; but so are lies."
