Greetings, fellow citizens. I am delighted to serve Friend Computer in any way possible.

I will reveal to you the identity of the mutants after a round of troubleshooting.

Greetings, Friend Citizens. I am exceptionally happy to be here today.

My thoughts: Sefer/M4yhem is absolutely an enemy of Friend Computer. In Post 164 M4yhem states that not all citizens are in secret societies because such societies must be enemies of Friend Computer. I am in a secret society, but I am working for the good of the city. I assume that all Citizens are members of secret societies, and that not all could be enemies of friend computer.

1. Citizen M4yhem is a member of a secret society, as all Friend Citizens are.

2. Citizen M4yhem assumes that all members of secret societies are enemies of Friend Computer.

QED, Citizen M4yhem and his reasonably similar facsimile, Sefer, is a member of a secret society that is an enemy of Friend Computer.

unvote, vote: Sefer

Ok, who is willing to reveal whether or not they are in a secret society? No other role names, abilities, clearance colors, etc. Only a simple yes or no as to whether or not they're in a ss.

Can we have a deadline extension, oh benevolent mod/computer/whatever?

It's worth a shot.
Could you explain why you think Sefer is innocent and Stevie is guilty?

While I can see the case for Stevie, I'm not convinced that Sefer isn't scum either. Therefore, I'm not going to move my vote unless it looks like we'll no-lynch otherwise.

There's one way to know for sure. Lynch me.

My role PM explicitly says I'm on the side of friend computer. I've got this wacky role that redirects people's nightchoices. I have no buddies though.

But the point is that my role PM explicity says I'm a good guy. If my reveal comes up that I'm an enemy of friend computer, then you know we've got a Space Monkey Mafia-type situation.

Bump?

If we think that the Communists are scum, don't lynch me. If we think that anyone whose role pm says that they are specifically in support of Friend Computer is scum lynch me.

AFAIK I'm pro-town, and I want the town to win, and doing this should help the town sort things out.

dahen wrote:TCS: You state two scenarios.
1. Communists are scum. You are town. Town should not lynch you.
2. Pro-computers are scum. You are scum. Town should lynch you.

Of course you are correct that town should lynch you in case two. But the problem is that you would be playing against your own win condition by supporting it. Scum can benefit from helping town and therefore getting trusted, but in this case you would be dead, and the trust would be wasted as soon as town saw you were scum.

This means that if you really think that 2 is a possibility, then you are playing really bad as scum. I don't think so, which means I think that you are probably very certain that number 1 is correct.

One reason that you can be sure of number 1 is if you are a communist and scum yourself. There is something that's not right about you.
In the absence of evidence to the contrary, I assume I am pro-town. I have no scum group. I have no killing role. So I'm going to act like a townie, even if for some reason my role is not town. I'm not a Communist, I can tell you that much.

Let's just take a poll. I'd like for everyone to answer these two questions, unless you have a role-related reason not to (and in that case, further explanation perhaps?):

1. Are you
explicity
pro-Friend Computer?
2. Are you a member of a secret society?

If I'm scum, then I'm screwing scum over. But if not, I may be helping us.

Stuff lost in crash.
M4h3m OMGUSes Stevie. Baroman and Sarcastro wagon.
Notably, CES ignores this move, and votes for M4yh3m instead.
Dahen make a nice, but not very concise pbpa. Ill admit to not reading the entirety of that one :p
Sefer replaces M4yh3m. apologises for his play, and unvotes Stevie. Im not sure whether scum would do that.
Sarcastro asks Stevie to claim. Dahen hammers Stevie. End of Day VoteCount is wrong, but it doesn’t matter.
TCS offers to commit suicide. Sarc obliges. PWS votes Sarc. TCS reverts back to random voting.
Remus wagons TCS.

TCS could you please clarify how exactly your role works?
You redirect choices right? So last night you directed MM’s choice where? :?

If my lame ass ability can even be considered, a "power role" then spot-on. But as scum I'd rather take a chance at killing a threat than shooting someone with my completely worthless power. I revealed what info I had because I thought maybe someone with another power role might make use of it.

Lynch me if you think I'm scum, and if you think it's bad play, I simply won't do it again.

I explained it already.

I send the mod 3 names. My target, the person they target, and who to redirect the ability to. Which is why it's virtually a worthless ability.

However, predicting that Sefer would be targeted last night, and thinking Maz was scum, I redirected Maz's ability (if he had one) to himself.

So.

If you think I'm scum, you're either an idiot, haven't read page 14, or think I'm an idiot. "Please lynch me if we want to figure everything out" is the stupidist scum gambit in the history of scum gambits, especially with one dead already.

Are you joking?

The role he claimed is clearly anti-town.

Why would a town player make up something like that?

-Peter
Erm... because it's probably not actually his role? And if it is, I don't see how it's necessarily anti-town.

Why would a town player make something up like that? Because the game is on life support and no one is posting a damn thing?

I did similar things in Clue Mafia, and was lynched in two out of three games for overly aggressive behavior in a dead game. While I suppose I WAS scum in those games, I would do the same thing as town.

Well, you've already refused to give role information in the past, so I think it shows that you're worried about a pattern. No one else seems to share that concern.

But totally aside from the lack of clearance, I'm voting you because you didn't suspect Stevie on Day One, you doubt that the Communists are scum, and you went after Sarcastro before he ended up dead and apparently pro-town.

I think that we would be better served completely ignoring any information that comes from his reveal and focus on the rest of the game.

It's possible that sarcastro killed himself night 2.

I have no role-pm related reason to believe my powers don't work. They aren't activated by anything.

You should claim, Flay, because you're near the top of my lynch candidates.

Let's play the game.

I am MO-B-O-1, my clearance level is Blue; I am a member of the Illuminati (no partners listed, so I assume this is just flavor), and I have the mutant power of nightchoice redirection.

C_D is next.

I'm no sure why this game is so inactive. That it is makes me somewhat afraid that there are actually two scum left, lurking to kill us all at lylo.

But if you guys don't care about this game, neither do I.

Why am I voting for Fonz? Because this game gives the the distinct gut feeling that I'm being wooled. Fonz is usually a lot more pressing in hunting scum. I haven't seen anything great from him yet.

I'm a little suspicious of Flay at the moment. I'm a little edgy when someone points out examples of their scum play to verify their innocence. It's a major WIFOM-type game if you ask me.

I still have the feeling of being snowed this game, so I'm likely to vote Flay or Fonz at this point.

unvote, vote: Mr. Flay

I know Day 5 isn't the time for gut feelings, but I have the feeling that I'm being completely snowed, and if I were scum, I probably would have otherwise dealt with an experienced player like Flay by now.

Sorry I can't do more atm but school is eating my lunch.

Why isn't now the time for it? This town is out of discussion and whoever the scum is is just letting the game peter out into an auto-win. This is something good, experienced scum does. I would expect any of the other players to be much more active as scum in lylo. I think the vote is perfectly good in a situation in which there are no clear suspects and barely any discussion of suspects.

I'm sorry, I just thought killajay was entirely too obvious. I thought that either you or Flay was completely snowing us, and that there was only one scum remaining.

Had I thought there were multiple scum alive, I would have lynched killajay. Sorry.

Thesp, I thought that since the setup was a little closed and confusing, with relatively weak power roels, that 3 scum were more likely.
