My thoughts: Sefer/M4yhem is absolutely an enemy of Friend Computer. In Post 164 M4yhem states that not all citizens are in secret societies because such societies must be enemies of Friend Computer. I am in a secret society, but I am working for the good of the city. I assume that all Citizens are members of secret societies, and that not all could be enemies of friend computer.

1. Citizen M4yhem is a member of a secret society, as all Friend Citizens are.

2. Citizen M4yhem assumes that all members of secret societies are enemies of Friend Computer.

QED, Citizen M4yhem and his reasonably similar facsimile, Sefer, is a member of a secret society that is an enemy of Friend Computer.

But the point is that my role PM explicity says I'm a good guy. If my reveal comes up that I'm an enemy of friend computer, then you know we've got a Space Monkey Mafia-type situation.

AFAIK I'm pro-town, and I want the town to win, and doing this should help the town sort things out.

TCS: You state two scenarios.
1. Communists are scum. You are town. Town should not lynch you.
2. Pro-computers are scum. You are scum. Town should lynch you.

Of course you are correct that town should lynch you in case two. But the problem is that you would be playing against your own win condition by supporting it. Scum can benefit from helping town and therefore getting trusted, but in this case you would be dead, and the trust would be wasted as soon as town saw you were scum.

This means that if you really think that 2 is a possibility, then you are playing really bad as scum. I don't think so, which means I think that you are probably very certain that number 1 is correct.

One reason that you can be sure of number 1 is if you are a communist and scum yourself. There is something that's not right about you.

In the absence of evidence to the contrary, I assume I am pro-town. I have no scum group. I have no killing role. So I'm going to act like a townie, even if for some reason my role is not town. I'm not a Communist, I can tell you that much.

Let's just take a poll. I'd like for everyone to answer these two questions, unless you have a role-related reason not to (and in that case, further explanation perhaps?):

I send the mod 3 names. My target, the person they target, and who to redirect the ability to. Which is why it's virtually a worthless ability.

However, predicting that Sefer would be targeted last night, and thinking Maz was scum, I redirected Maz's ability (if he had one) to himself.

I did similar things in Clue Mafia, and was lynched in two out of three games for overly aggressive behavior in a dead game. While I suppose I WAS scum in those games, I would do the same thing as town.

Why am I voting for Fonz? Because this game gives the the distinct gut feeling that I'm being wooled. Fonz is usually a lot more pressing in hunting scum. I haven't seen anything great from him yet.

Why isn't now the time for it? This town is out of discussion and whoever the scum is is just letting the game peter out into an auto-win. This is something good, experienced scum does. I would expect any of the other players to be much more active as scum in lylo. I think the vote is perfectly good in a situation in which there are no clear suspects and barely any discussion of suspects.
