My first thought reading Theopor’s status post is “why isn’t there more pressure in this game on Adam?” My first guess is scum trying to avoid seeming opportunistic, and the town following. Which makes me want to zero in on Ryan, CMD, and Twomz.
In Ryan’s fifth post has way too many periods in that ellipses. It’s an off and dramatic reaction to CKD’s post.
I think Post 26 is interesting. Ryan expresses no concern for Adam’s thoughts before ThinMan posts.
Post 53 is a good way for Ryan scum to avoid being caught by the “XXX is scum” role, if it is one. Then again, this relies on Adam being scum, so it’s probably not viable.
Interesting that Ryan calls Aimee quiet.
Unvote Vote Twomz.Lynch all unfosers.
Unvote
Ryan doesn’t have anything to “jump on”. That wording is odd.
“You can rip me for not stirring conversation.” Admitting to lesser faults but vehemently denying bigger scumtells is a strategy I use as scum.
In addition, my meta on Ryan tells me he likes to jump around and attract attention to himself as town. He's doing the opposite this game: he's posting somewhat infrequently, isn't pursuing any scums very doggedly and his vote seems to be unmoving.
More later.SEND THE VECTOIDS-

CKD:
Post #1: Mirrors ryan’s interest in the Adam information.
Post #2: Guesses that the odds are Adam is mafia. Takes interest in a sentence of the flavor. Asks the cop to stay hidden.
Side Note: Interesting that he hasn’t voted Adam yet.
Post #3: Debates the flavor with Twomz.
Post #4 Debates some more and commends Theopor for the role.
Post #5: Says he will be disappointed if the town does not get another note. Wants to hear from Adam.
Post #6: Suggests it could be a miller or lyncher.
Post #7: Says that whoever wrote the letter will likely support it. Does not support a no lynch.
Side Note: It is very scummy to suggest the behavior of a possible cop.
I stopped there because I think those are the points of interest. The rest of CKD’s posts contain very few votes, but that’s probably a playstyle. It still interests me that he didn’t vote Adam, though. He continues to debate the information and question it’s information for the rest of the game. Post seven is pretty bad, but I’m happy with post five, and I think that’s good evidence that CKD is town for now.
Next: Twomz.SEND THE VECTOIDS-

Why not? What would you prefer? Do you think a nolynch is better than voting someone you don't think is scum? You have GOT to be kidding me? You don't think she's scum, but you're still gonna vote her? She's already at 4 (without your vote) and leading the way. You are gonna have alot of explaining to do tomorrow, I hope you're ready cause I'll be right on you, count on it.SEND THE VECTOIDS-

I'm sorry, but a random lynch is better than a no lynch. A lynch on someone I thought was scum wasn't possible at that point, so I went with the next best option- voting someone who could be realistically lynched. His reasoning is because an Aimee lynch is better than no-lynch, but how about a scum lynch instead? He didn't even read the thread. The only person who could vote for someone to lynch on a whim, without even reading the thread, and think it is better than a no lynch can only be scum.SEND THE VECTOIDS-

Not in the first post. But it was also stated that if there was a TIE than there would be no lynch. There was no tie at the time and everyone had weighed in (pdcakes might not have had a vote, but I'd have to check)
This isn't a question of what you feel would be scummy, this is a question about the proper play, which with the information I had I believed was the right one.I would be much better with a player saying they didn't feel good about a lynch of the current person and vote somebody they felt was scummy.
...It's an easy way for a scum to come in late, go along with a bandwagon and vote off a townie and than come back later and say "My bad, I messed up with the vote count"

It's not?ryan wrote:Listen whether you made a mistake or not isn't up for discussion, you could easily be lying about knowing what was the proper procedure or not. If you would have properly read the thread (especially the latest pages) BEFORE casting your vote you would have known the procedure as it was stated in the thread by the mod.
Yes, I could be easily lying. Any explanation in mafia can be reduced to "whether you made a mistake or not isn't up for discussion, you could easily be lying." This is not a way the game should be played.
Back it up.Your vote looks calculated and a way to lynch off a townie, hence why you are my #1 suspect here in Day 2.SEND THE VECTOIDS-

lol. Of course I made sure the Aimee lynch went through. Interesting you don't take any responsibility for it despite the fact you were on it.made sure the Aimee lynch went through
I didn't have the chance to read the thread so I assumed Theopor was abiding by his previous rules. Why is that a bad assupmtion?and now you're saying you didn't know what the procedure was for in lynching.
Already explained count: two.
What do join dates have to do with deadline rule inconsistencies? You've been around since 2006 (according to your join date) for you to make the game believe you didn't know what you were doing in your lynch is laughable at best.
I didn't have time to do so before the deadline, obviously. You didn't read the thread properly,
Already explained count: three.
Yes, in mafia, someone has to vote off the top candidate. This is how people die and games go into other days and such and such.you voted off a top candidateand now you are back peddling.

My first thought of reading ThinMan to be honest was "what a jerk". I should have known who it was immediately. :p
What I find odd about the notes is that SirWario wrote them with such formality. It's also interesting to note the how he lowered the severity. "Be wary of X" is not "OMG confirmed scum."
I want to know how any of those who thought the note could be credible thought about the balance of such a role.
I'm fairly certain that Gorgon, ckd, pdcakes, and Thin_man are town. The last one is based on an out of game reference.SEND THE VECTOIDS-

I'm interested Ryan. I want to see where you have asked me to clarify my day one play. I'm perfectly willing to respond to it.
It should be noted that GOW is voting ckd, our claimed vig, for some reason.
This is particular is bugging me and is reading more like "I'm too lazy to move my vote, sorry."right now, my vote is not endangering you, so im leaving it
And to answer your question, GoW:
1.Gorgon, you are a moron. You totally manipulated the point I was making about posting scumlists.
Scum tend to use the word manipulation more than townies (ooh an assertion).
2.
3.There is a difference between suspicious and scummy, which you apparently don't understand.
4.Also, lame and easy reasons? Like you're the Einstein of the game so far.
5.P.S. - Gorgon, change your avatar so everybody doesn't hate you anymore
These quotes especially make 703 sound like a frantic scum reaction. You really haven't made any progress towards the clearing of your name, besides a quite possibly specious vig claimSEND THE VECTOIDS-

So, let's take a count of things I've already explained. Here's one.ryan wrote:1) First off I would like some sort of explanation for your lurking on Day 1 AND your lurking right up until deadline. You went a good 5-6 pages without commenting one time, came in during deadline
I had limited access and a lot of work around that time. In fact, I even made a post to that effect!
Some of us don't share your ubiquitousness.
Already explained count: 2.2) Why you voted Aimee near deadline when you CLEARLY admitted you hadn’t read the thread or knew what was going on
Because I thought it would get her lynched, which was better than a no lynch. We discussed this in detail.
Already explained count: 3.3) Post 495 says that you didn’t think Aimee was scum YET you were happy with her vote before deadline (when we weren’t in danger of a no lynch, which was your reasoning)
Again, I didn't realize we weren'd in danger of a nolynch. Besides, did it really matter? Aimee was going to be lynchd regardless of rather I landed that vote or not. It was an attempt to make sure.4) Post 643 says you are fairly certain that Gorgon, ckd, pdcakes, and Thin_man are town YET you give no reasons for WHY they are town
No, and I will continue not to do so. If everybody gave a reason as to someone may be town, the scum will know who to kill at night. Mafia theory!
That wasn't day one anyway.
lie.You have done ZERO scum hunting on Day 2you've constantly used the "I'm busy but I'll re-read later" excuse.
back it up
That makes a lot of sense.I haven't seen one reason for you NOT to be the lynch here on Day 2
I want you to read the game, although the fact that you're scum probably means that excuse will fall on deaf ears. ):You can say I'm prodding people to vote you, or pushing your lynch but what I really want is something content laden from you for once, something actually worth calling "scum hunting"

To the argument that "scum are less likely to pay attention", I HAD POSTED I WAS WITHOUT ACCESS IN ALL OF THE OTHER GAMES, WHICH IS WHAT I SAID WHEN THAT ARGUMENT WAS BROUGHT UP BEFORE. sheesh.
It honestly seems that there's a reason I'm repeating things, and I think that reason is the scum here are trying their best to cement this as a label. Well, folks, it just doesn't work when the opponent has given a reason for every single attack brought up here.
Also, "I was just testing you to see if you were consistent but you dodged it lawl" is inane.SEND THE VECTOIDS-

It's also very interesting to note that you took a line of thought that wasn't even directed against you (that scum are more likely to not pay attention), and decided to respond as if it were part of an attack on you.
That's unfortuantely true. I really haven't been able to get involved with this game. Partially because when I try, I get consistently attacked for irrational reasons.
I tend not to suspect more than one person in a game. This is just like how "FoS" doesn't exist in my playstyle. I'm a stubborn person with a one-track mind. Focussing on more than one tends to make me just flail around.SEND THE VECTOIDS-
