Phoebus: I try to never assume a game is "normal". If someone insists, without evidence, that there's exactly one serial killer, or 3 mafia, chances are they're selling something (or know something you don't.

But even without that, we had evidence of three killing roles last night: Venom, whoever killed Venom, and whoever killed prof X. The mod has already told us that Venom didn't get a chance to kill (and aside from that, neither kill looks like Venom's signature), so unless a vig unwisely targetted someone on night one, we have at least two killers left -- either the MoD and another mafia, or the MoD and a serial killer (er, or the MoD is a serial killer, obviously).

So....we're down a serial killer....

OTOH, it may be that Toodle is avoiding being in a lynching bandwagon in an attempt to avoid notice.

No, you see, when you say you are away, that means you cannot check nor respond. You could do both, and you chose to not respond.

I don't think he needs to explain anything. He was away, he came back -- it's not scummy to ignore a 3 vote bandwagon, just a sign of -actually- having limited access (far more scummy is to lurk until you are voted, and then only become active enough to shift attention away from you).

Your hounding, on the other hand, would seem to have no excuse.

All I have to say is...we was robbed.

3 Maf, 1 SK, 8 town, in a game where EVERY TOWNIE HAD AN ABILITY (many of which were better than the "standard" abilities) and no scum did? (Actually, the SK had a decent ability, but got kileld off lucklilly -- in a "normal" game, this would have given the mafia the edge, but since almost every townie had a useful ability, this ended up meaning the maf were doomed...especially with Phoebus voting us off that way (ok, I was doomed from the time I was uber-blocked).

Let's see:

Strange; Immune to night kills (can use ability on others)
Punisher: Supervig (who I didn't realize existed, since I thought we'd killed Venom)
Wolverine: Immune to night kills (can give up ability for a single vig kill)
Cyclops (actually, a town-harmful ability, but a minor one)
Daredevil: Cop
Grey: an actually useless ability (telepath)
Spidey: super-roll blocker (everyone can see who he blocked, so he doesn't have to come out to get someone lynched).
Prof X; Uber-roll blocker (optimal is always to target people with their own ability -- if they're trying to kill, they'll die, otherwise, they'll take minimal harm)

Given this powerful array, the mafia should have had abilities beyond "you're a mafia".

But fun game, everyone!
