Sorry for inactivity here, I've fallen behind a bit.

Right now, after re-reading the last few pages, I'm willing to say that just by mass of posts (though I don't rely on this much) that Wall-E and Surye (who make up about 90% of the posts for the last 5-10 pages) aren't scum. This doesn't take into account any posts that would make people look scummy, keep in mind.

And for that, a lookout for some of the others who haven't really posted too much at all (this unfortunately includes me, but I know my alignment).

That said, at Wall-E's post 929, wanna restate your reasons for Surye as scum?

Now that I rethink things, Armix, here's my way of saying it:

A criminal pulls off a bunch of small-time acts and gets arrested. The public overreacts and practically mobs him. The judge, influenced, did not truly allow him to give a case. None of the public realized that the acts the criminal were not very serious. The criminal surrendered without struggle, and he was executed on the spot.

That's my comparison now that I rethink the Slicey wagon.

It's weird how people defending me are setting off more scum alarms in my head than those attacking me. I've never run in to this phenomenon before. Usually I like to be defended, but this time feels different. I've decided that it's due to the unexpected magnitude of the impact of my careless words... I'm seeing stronger reactions than I've yet seen from people over my attempt at lurking. I rather like the reactions... polarization is good for figuring out who's scum. I think if I had it all to do over again, I'd have done it again just to get the information.

I was going to put something here that was so stupid that everyone realized it must be a joke, but then I realized: "This is the internet. That's impossible."

Anyway, I almost completely agree with Wall-E here. I'm gonna go back and see if I can verify this with some hard quotes, instead of memory, but I definitely see this as a valid opinion.
