i don't particularly like 68, it feels a little scared to put down a vote

I use that language cause I'm feeling somewhat conflicted on that slot right now. I'm a bit dissatisfied of 33 as an answer to 32 as it feels like a pocket-y answer to me, though it's also weirdly stubborn in a way that feels + town. I'm hoping that by placing some pressure on CCS I can get a better read of their intentions.

Was more so looking for more posts like this one that feel like their progressing the game along, Some of your posts in response to pressure came off to me as more focused on defending yourself then advancing reads on those interacting with your wagon.

Agree with this post here, I'm also getting conflicted read on CCS as well. The early posts he made pings me as a town moving the game out of rvs (like what I was doing in Normal Idea Mafia), but his later posts feel like, idk, posting as often as he could do to farm post counts?
Gonna park the vote on him until some more quality posts are made though.

Just curious, have you discussed in your hood to push someone together? If so, why smiley hasn't changed his vote/push at all besides a vote on ccs?

Not really. The closest we got was Snivy saying it'd be funny if we bloc-voted together which didn't go anywhere in the hood.

I haven't changed my vote due to me getting the most scum pings from Snivy so far, both in isolation and in light of Flavor's theory that you slipped knowing about the comp of the hood.

Basically, the public info for us now is the hood, so we can start with an ISO of the hood. Since idk what was going on in the hood, (eg, who initiate the push), I can only guess. It surprises me that the hood was voting for each other, and besides that, the hood only got voted by (excluding page 1 vote):

And when they vote outside the hood:

I'm trying to play more vibe-based and less analytical this game. There are times where it becomes super draining for me to keep up the analytical style, and I rather not lock myself into having to do that every game. My ideal balance I think would be having an established meta for both analytical me and vibe based me with me choosing which to apply depending on the game.

Aggressive- I've remained on CCS for most of the day phase, despite having ample opportunity to switch my vote to Heipizhu while their wagon built, so I don't see how my vote has been aggressive.

Pushy- Nah, if anything I think i've been more on the passive side this game. There were multiple instances of pushes being formed on me that I've mostly took a passive approach towards (Dann's 70 earlier and this most recent one now) which doesn't track with me being pushy (or aggressive for that manner).

Tunnely- This one has a pinch of merit, but even then it's not like i'm not giving takes on everyone else. If you look through my ISO you'll find plenty of instances of me poking and prodding as well as advancing the game along. Could I be tunneled on Camel? Potentially, though tunneling isn't really on its own AI.

What I mean by reactionary is throughout your ISO it seems like most of your content has been responding to what others have said, rather than analyzing game content. I did like 30 and 32 but I didn't see a lot of content that I liked afterwards. Did you try to begin this game by playing analytically and then give up on it?

Game 1 I played with you we were scum partners. In that game I recall you tunneled onto one player quite relentlessly, even when others were pushing contrary reads.

Game 2 You were town and you played very analytically, which you recognized here.

Game 3, this game, you're back to tunneling in spite of others pushing contrary reads.

What I'm trying to say is that it seems to me like you're acting more like you were in game 1 than you were in game 2.

I wouldn't say I was trying to begin analytically. I think my early posts came off as more analytical due to taking some time to settle into the groove I wanted to achieve. Old habits die hard .

I don't think my play in Game 1 (Newbie 2126 for reference if anyone wants to check) matches your description. There I pushed both Political Clout and Radical Polaroid day 1. I see where you get the idea, but I hard-pushed PC at the end of day 1 there mainly cause I thought I had caught them in a "gotcha" moment. I wouldn't say that people were townreading PC at that point (The resistance there was more so to the faulty logic I was using to push them).

I can see where you're coming from here though, so I think this is + town, despite me thinking your meta read is incorrect (gosh I really can't help myself sometimes can I?).

My thoughts as a mod:
Setup wise I think this was probably the swingiest setup I've ever seen, but I can't say it was particularly maf sided. If Dannflor remained alive he could get a second guilty (in fact, he was deciding between two different scum to investigate on Night 2!). If the worst managed to stay alive, he would've killed FL most likely. Still, 4 scum is very strong.

When I saw what role FL rolled, I was excited because it felt like the role was perfect for him. Well, it was. I think FL was MVP for the scum team, with his powerbus winning him amazingly good towncred followed by eliminating any towny that started to dissent and suspect him. Amazing play. The rest of the scum team also played really well though - Smiley with spotting FL early like a pro, Titus with making the perfect kill every single night, and gob with looking extremely towny so that in ELo town had no chance of actually voting scum correctly.

Very well played by the mafia. Thanks for playing, everyone!
