I am against policy lynches and I don't like people who suggest them

. It distracts the town, it cools down wagons and it's overall horribly bad for the town to enforce/discuss them. Same goes for Toogeloo.

[1]At this point in the game, my role is really not as much of a danger to scum as it will be later in the game. So NKing right off the get-go would, at least in my mind, take a back seat to getting a random strong player out of play.

In practice, don't mafia members usually kill claimed power roles even on day one? I don't see how it is far-fetched for them to be expected to kill those roles.

no scum also leave the claimed alive and just roleblock them (if they have that option). but the longer a claimed power role lives the more suspiucious they become and eventually become lynch bait.

about the jailkeeper role- to me it acts like hider player A targets player B . player A the jailkeeper hides the player b but while player B is jail kept he cannot be targeted nor can he target. ie if player b was say a cop he would get a no result for for the nite he was jailkept but then agian all attepts made on him that nite would fail

The reasoning we have for Oso is that his votes are fishy, and his actions aren't indicative of a Town Jailkeeper. I mean really, thank you for Roleblocking me last night Oso... We went over this on Day 1. A Jailkeeper is more of an offensive role because it hinders town power, so you are better off targeting scum with it to prevent their night kills and other abilities, or targeting claimed Vanillas who are quite vocal. So why are you targeting town, especially after power was hinted?

This. I had this discussion in another game as well.

A JailKeeper is a

DOCTOR

who just happens to be able to roleblock as well. The role's primary ability is to protect. That is what I am using it for. At this point, you an Toon Fighter are as close to confirmed town as we have. Until I can stand a good chance of being able to gain some information by targeting/blocking a Scum Action (i.e Nightkill) I shall continue to use this role as a protective role. Possible power roles inside the Masons aside, scum have to start killing you guys at some point, probably sooner than later, because one confirms the other. You are too dangerous to leave alive. When they start doing that they are either going to have to kill me outright or play the outguess the jailkeeper game unless they have a way to neutralize me.

Having said that, I will use the role in the way I see fit to use it regardless of any else's thoughts on the matter unless there is some way you folks can think of, at this point, that it can be used in an integrated plan to catch scum.

no i think you have this wrong. you are essentially forcing a player to hide, therby taking them out of play for the nite, when you jailkeep a player that player cannot be targeted nor can that player preform any night actions.

so say for instance you happened to jailkeep the town cop that would be bad cause yah the cop would live but the cop also would not be able to preform his duties. you see what i am getting at here?

We have too many unattentives in the game. If you didn't want to play it, why didn't you replace? (this kind of goes out to everyone to be honest)


At this point we are narrowing it down. I would recommend maybe claiming and presenting an argument for why Tazaro should be lynched instead. If you are town, it's playing to win, ya'know?

I don't get the players in this game. Wraith asked to be hammered. Charlie never became serious. Lowell and tubby just kinda dared us to hammer them.


Does no one really care about this game, and just want it over? If so, why not just collectively ask Porochaz to call it a draw and everyone walk away? I don't really think it's fair to players and host who have put months into this game, for people to have these kind of attitudes. It's a game that you signed up for. Play to win.
