I'm not sure you all realize this, but he knows who ALL the scum are, and WON'T TELL US! He is CLEARLY an anti town force to keep this information away from us!"Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Interesting claim. Reserving judgement on it. I disagree with Glork about lack of town intent behind it, since I think some could exist, but it's rather tricky.
I'm going to pretend it didn't happen for the time being."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Should I? I disagree for the time being. I'm happy just chilling here for awhile and seeing what unfolds.
So, how are you doing Glork? Life treating you ok ^-^?
@Glork cut: Fair enough. As I said, I'm pretending it didn't happen, at least not until it matters. Which it doesn't right now. Jack might as well have claimed miller for all I care. Well, if he did that I'd be voting him since there isn't a miller in the set up, but you know what I mean."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Nothing wrong with a little lunacy in mafia. It's gotten so textbook (and INCORRECTLY USED TEXTBOOK) that you NEED to be a little crazy to scumhunt.
LMP is getting dangerously close to creating a certain shape associated with 360 degrees with his argument ^-^. And that does no one any good ."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

There was a question. What the hell were you talking about in that post? I knew what Glork said just fine. Yet you said I didn't, or something?
I mean, seriously, "Uh...what?" is pretty damn clear IMO. Explain yourself."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Can we lynch Nikanor first, assuming we take that plan of action? I'm getting more bad vibes from him than LMP. Not enough to actually VOTE, but enough so I want to inquire more and come to a decision."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Fucking Conciseness: How does it work!?
Seriously, what's up with the towers of text on page 8? I tried to read through them to see if anything could be gleaned, but it's basically reiteration of the same two stances in slightly novel and different ways. Also practically impossible to read ways. Could you each, in 5 sentences or less, without quotes, state your damned positions?"Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

That works, Yos. Interesting to see how he responds.
Oh my God I love you Yos.Yos2 wrote: I haven't played with Jack in a while, so no, I don't really have much meta on him. I don't think it's relevant, though. All you have to do is assume he's playing to his win condition, and his act doesn't make any sense as scum.
My scumhunting gets SO much better when I disregard meta. I think there ARE a couple of cases where you need it, but in most it's distracting. The memory is too selective."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Just kidding!
Just in case,Vote Snake
But, yeah.
Meh, I'll give you at least one little rodent morsel, dearest Snake. I find itinfinitelyinteresting that you should observe my apparent lack of reasoning on you but be rather...non observant when I first did it to Lowell (who still is a good lynch, btw, just Snake is a million times BETTER)."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

So, your proof of being town, Snake is...
that you're town? You...don't plan to show us? Just kinda insist and hope we go away?
Do you think this will work? I mean, think of it this way. As it stands, you're going to be lynched. So being unhelpful will CERTAINLY prevent that, right? Um...wait, I think you missed something here.
Put another way, as town, do you have ANYTHING to lose by providing reads, trying to hunt scum, and overall do townie things despite being in threat of lynch? I mean, I think your cost-benefit here is kinda screwed up."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

@Snake: So you conjecture that...because scum want to look town, and town is benefitted by posting a lot...scum would post a lot...more?
Huh?
I...isn't that just Too Townie with a special wrapper?
Let's play your game then. At what threshold does an amount of posts switch from being very townie to being scummy?"Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

@Nika: What, because I haven't blown up and called anyone a moron yet I'm probably scum ?
Unvote, Vote CJMiller
Dammit Glork, you beat me to that one!!!
Still up for Lowell or Snake.
mothrax is doing himself no favors.
Open to meta examples of dumb town CJ behavior. Yes, I'm sure I'm letting you down, AGar, but note I had a qualifier that meta occasionally helps for some players. Mostly for nullifying tells, actually. It's knowing when to use it which isn't very often."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

AGar brings up a good point.
My working scum list is now:
CJMiller
Snake
Lowell
Haylen
I feel CJMiller's actions benefit scum CJ more than town CJ. Glork is right that his jumping in just enough to vote the leading bandwagon is scummy. However, it is also explained by VI behavior. I am still fully willing to lynch anyone on my scum list, those today I REALLY want Snake or CJ dead.
All that said I'llUnvote, Vote Snakeagain.
@Haylen: Misrep is not a magical word that makes cases invalid. Especially when...

Except it's not. It's quite a valid tell, and very notable. Wagon behavior is critically important for finding scum, and he has said nothing untrue about you. Calling something someone says "stupid" does not refute it."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Can't fence sit if you don't acknowledge something.
But why didn't you acknowledge it? You do realize not providing an opinion on a wagon is scummy, right? Especially if the wagon leads to scum? That is the disputable part, granted.
The jumping onto CJ, an easily building wagon, without acknowledging Snake's wagon at all, is also scummy. It's a matter of "convenient for scum". It's convenient for scum to create and jump onto counterwagons when a scumbuddy is at risk. Again though, it relies on Snake being scum."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

The issue is that this is subjective. This may be true, but we aren't in your head. We're in our heads. Your actions lead us to a different conclusion. There's not a lot you can do about that.Haylen wrote: I didn't acknowledge that wagon because I was busy at the time and everybody was posting and it was too much to get my head round.

I feel intent is a decent enough proof, and I can see a lot of scum intent from you. If you start producing town intent, I'll still be suspicious but less so."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Fair point. I explained why earlier, though I still admitted that it's based on Snake's flip. I think I also didn't comment on the Empking wagon much, mostly because it didn't make a lot of sense. Though IIRC, I DID ask what was going on. Haylen never did as far as I can tell.
Haylen ignoring snake but conveniently jumping on CJ when a lot of other people were DOES still bug me though. It assumes Snake is scum, yes, which means Haylen is not the play today. But if Snake DOES flip scum, does it not become more suspicious that she magically appears for the counterwagon?"Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

@Snake: If you somehow flip town, which you won't, by the way, then I will reassess the situation then. But until that happens I see no reason to assume you are anything but scum. If we somehow end up lynching someone else, then I will also reassess the implications of that.
So, your choices are either start doing things that help the town, or die."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

@Snake: Why aren't you helping the town? Why are you wasting time trying to convince me that I'm scum? Scumhunt. Come up with a real case. I've only been exhorting you to do that all game.
If you have a real case feel free to direct it at the town but try to stay in the realm of fact, at least ^-^.

@Nikanor: I'm afraid I don't see your point. I've explained, I thought rather clearly, why snake's behavior is indicative of scum. For those that missed it, it's the fact that he refuses to do anything actively pro town, create cases that make any sort of sense outside of "THEY ATTACKED ME >=[!", and overall do anything remotely pro town.
Do you have some sort of reason to believe Snake is town, Nika? Because I would absolutelylooooooooooveeeeeeeeto hear what you come up with."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Could you explain why, at least, rather than insisting on it and hoping your (not) town flip will suddenly make us assume everything you say is 100% accurate?
Because so far I haven't seen a case, just a "guys, I'm town." "No, REAAALLLLLY guys, I'm towwwwwwwwn" "Why are you lyyyyynchiiiiiing me, I'm toowwwwwwwwwnnnnnnn" "Please guys, I'm towwwwwwwwwwn" "I'm going to name two people for WIFOM purposes without a case because I'm tooooooowwwwwnnnnnnnn"
So please, rectify this."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Glork isn't dead yet, we should lynch him.
More seriously, I need to reassess things, as promised. I'll be looking mostly around the start of the Snake wagon, I think. Yes, I am aware I started it. Doesn't mean scum couldn't have furthered it to the point of it being a wagon."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

With 20 alive, it takes 11 to lynch.
Of note are the wagons on Empking and LynchMePls. Also, I'm pretty sure Lowell didn't stop being scummy. Let me ISO all three of these individuals.
@Sudo: There was no chance Jack was being targetted by scum. It just wasn't going to happen. It would have been a suboptimal move."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Hmm...LMP starts out very solidly town, asking questions, getting into things. What's odd is when the Snake wagon springs up he seems to sheep more...He doesn't vote Snake until late in the day, but I'm still...finding it mildly odd. He does dig up a lot on Snake though after his vote to explain to Haylen, so maybe it wasn't as weird as I thought.
Eh, let's go with: Hey, LMP, can you post or repost a case on Antihero?
Now Empking."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."

Empking makes no sense whatsoever, theory wise. He does make sense as town, oddly enough, he's just...bad at it, at least in his early ISO.
OK, I'd REALLY like to know who is being quoted in this post. I'd also enjoy links to the quoted posts.
Hmm...I'm neutral on Empking by the end of his ISO. It feels like it should be townie but it feels like he also has some very convenient opinions at times. I'll keep an eye on him.
Now Lowell. Also, I forgot to recheck Xine."Never have I seen anybody glorify their own lynch."
