I'm leisurely making my way through the game at the moment. Not that far too, but I have slight town reads on more than one of the candidates for lynch today.

I would rather not start explaining anything before completing my reread of the game [lol that might take a while] because that will lead to confirmation bias.

But lets just say toon fighter was really obvious scum to me in Matrix Mafia, and my scumdar hasn't exactly changed. (remember that one, muffin? the one that is wrong about everything? well, i can actually read toon fighter apparently ... though if his wagon is due to something that hasn't happened in the first part of the thread do let me know)

(Side-note: among the mental proof IS meta--two Toon-town games which Toon's play is a dead-ringer for me, a town Pappums game which doesn't match Pappum's play here, and a town Empking game which doesn't match his play here. It's something I do think about in my head, but I will not be using it [other than its mention here] in my physical proof, out of respect for GreyICE*.)

Empking's play can be sporadic from game to game. Need a larger sample size than one.

Though from those 4 I would be happy with a pappums rat lynch the most.

I've been really lazy with the reread. Massive apologies. But I am partway through it (and am going to use night to get further)

but my main reason for Toon Fighter was pointed out in GreyICE #216 where Toon Fighter is asked for his opinion on mastin and says "mastin is asking a lot of questions", and then is subsequently caught by GreyICE when Grey shows that all of mastin's questions were rhetorical. I see NO town motivation in Toon Fighter doing this. Toon Fighter was acting(lol) all VI-like prior to this but there is no reason to outright lie to the town and invent reads to satisfy other people.

A Toon Fighter scum flip also makes GreyICE town in my book.

How does this make sense if maxous is scum?

Why did he abandon the only wagon that was going to result in a lynch other than toonfighter... while choosing not to bus the hell out of toonfighter?

The only half-viable argument I've seen for Maxous being scum is that he was 'third party hunting' but considering he made no effort to really push a lynch on you, I don't see your point here. Thinking that you're playing like third party means nothing. Directing a tracker who may or may not have listened to him means nothing.

Uh... Muffin, how the hell does Maxous in that situation bus ToonFighter? You're being ridiculous here. He's spent the entire day defending him, how the HELL does he non-suspiciously change his mind? Wandering off to a non-viable wagon to build new suspicions for later days is EXACTLY what I'd expect scum to do, at least ones with more than 5 brain cells. Sudden 180s for little reason on "town reads" that were being strenuously defended just when the wagon was growing is so fucking obvious.

You're used to play with scumbags bad enough to defend their buddies the entire day than 180 just before the lynch because they think THAT will build TOWN CREDIT, well, okay. Not everyone sucks that hardcore. Moving to a non-viable person Maxous knows won't be lynched as a 'safe harbor' that allows him to sit the day out is ONE HUNDRED FUCKING PERCENT what scum would do.

And you're forgetting that Mal's mislynch will tip the scales further towards "Mastin's actually been right this game?!?". And the results of the night will prove once more that I'm right, via the dead bodies flipping exactly what I said they will.

Put bluntly. When tomorrow dawns, regardless of whether I live or die. The town will listen to my reads, because they'll realize exactly what they already suspected: the longer I live, the more dangerous I am...to the scum. They'll realize that my early reads might not have been perfect, but my later reads have been getting better and better. They'll realize that I was on to something.
