Old man: Look! A smart aleck!
Woman: But is he scum?
Guy with hat: quite possibly I'd say.
Guy with swollen lymph node: Aaaahhh
pisskop and vikingfan's RVs are the scummiest thus far, imo

Biggest flaw in towngames:
People tend to sheep me when I'm meh-, and ignore me when I'm passionate about a scumread. Which means I'm doing something wrong because it should be the other way around.

Meta is perfect for how it has been used up to this point, i.e. generating discussion. But Kitz is exhibiting townish paranoia. Which leads me to my second townread and I don't usually townread at all, but I'll give it a try this game.

By turning into a passive participant, you're also depriving town of your abilities. When players are aware of your capabilities and not seeing it, that can come across as scum play.

@elusive I called vikingfan lynchbait because it looks like we're lynching the guy due to being too lazy to look for someone else. It sets a bad precedent for this game, it's stalling discussion right now (which you seem to enjoy very much) and there's no info to be salvaged if he flips town, despite what others may have said.
@all I suggest we keep him (viking) and monitor his progress. He's an oldschool player and might have interesting perspectives on future developments if he shakes off the dust.
I sure as hell don't like people screaming "counterwagon, COUNTERWAGON! OMG SAVE THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN!?!" before we have a flip to put it in context. Scumhunting by statistical votedynamic is for the birds, we need to look for scummy posts and dragon seems to have a clandestine few, while viking is null. Mainly because of the topics you've picked out for yourself, like Wake's issues with voting and who called who lynchbait. I can't detect any urgency to prioritize alignment indicative data in your posting and your sole excuse for your existence in this game seems to be that you're pushing lurkers. I'm new to this site. First time I'm playing a Large Normal I get a scum role. It's pregame and I'm chatting to my scumbuddies in the QT when all of a sudden the QT gets locked because Day1 begins. And I'm like .. hmm that's a little odd. So I browse the wiki and turns out scum need an encryptor to daytalk which we don't have.
The game goes swell for quite a while, I'm just coasting voting some lurkers and propagating the fluff. But then I get ran up by this naked jogger dude who's obviously this godlike stud I can't hope to get with unless I play my cards perfectly. I'll play hard to get or else he'll think I'm a slut, but anyway. I began writing this big ass post consisting of a useless resume because I had to be careful not to actually say anything that can be used against me when all of a sudden I remembered the encryptor. I realized I could use it to fake a townslip and hide it in my huge ass post to make it look natural. A little this and that, acting clumsy and voila.. ready to submit. 7 minutes later:
In post 620, FakedBlogger wrote:^Was there a point to that mother of all posts other than to fake a townslip?

I'm suspicious of viking's alleged lack of creativity to come up with at least something vague or encrypted enough to be a safe crumb, but other than that it looks legit until someone CCs.

My Need to Be Pressured Pile is: Naked Jogger, Cheetory, Boonskiies, Croboss\Replace, Jared615, House, TSO
I voted Ramapage in RVS and stayed because he hasn't done the thing he does quite yet.

My I Have No Clue Pile is: Everyone else
Also, you didn't answer my like thrice repeated question? Are you a townie green ninja shadow cat?
NJ, hmm...different people play different ways. This is my playstyle. I disagree with your read of it and also your sacrilege against Victoria Beckham who even if she was a maneater which is in itself relevant, is legit status.
I'm also still waiting your tunnel....or I guess 1 vs. 1 whichever or both they are.
A lot of people are reading elusive as town but I really do not get that. This post reads like randomly tossing out reads to seem town. He is reading me as town and really there is little reason to do so considering the limited posting that I have been able to do (and then states he hates lurkers). I think that thus far he is the ONLY player to do so. @elusive - why are you reading me as town?
Vote: Elusive
(and yes, I just scum read someone because they town read me...)
This is exactly how I wouldn't start a justification for voting a scumspect: saying that a lot of people are town reading it. Also getting the gender wrong would discredit my read further. What does you asking what something that doesn't have anything to do with scumhunting has to do with scumhunting have to do with scumhunting?-

I already don't like the way we got our second claim, it was uncalled for and very anti-town.
that is the towniest post you've given so far.

I assume this is the true reason I'm actually being voted on.
Sounds like a strawman unless someone can confirm voting you for these reasons.

Like what?

So you do know why one might scumread you: not finding scummy stuff. You use the newbie card as excuse. Scummy scummy. What does you asking what something that doesn't have anything to do with scumhunting has to do with scumhunting have to do with scumhunting?-

Why?
Because it's a townie response. And because the rest of his posts have questionable townienes
I don't think it is. Nobody was going to mass claim so wining about the claims doesn't seem town to me. Also he hasn't posted for a while and this is the catchup post he's bringing to the table? What does you asking what something that doesn't have anything to do with scumhunting has to do with scumhunting have to do with scumhunting?-
