Fourtrouble, why should we lynch transcend?

Voting mod-confirmed town is scummy. It's similar to self-voting but much worse, much more pro-scum, because while a self-vote might lead to a meaningful wagon on yourself, voting mod-confirmed town leads to nothing, because mod-confirmed town isn't ever getting lynched. There's no possibility of deriving anything meaningful from Transcend's vote and that itself is scummy, it obscures his motives.

But is it enough to jump on him for? Especially since it was the first vote of the day (and likely a troll vote). Seems kinda forced.

What's forced about it? He voted mod-confirmed town. Even if it's "troll," it's pro-scum, for the reasons I've already mentioned.

I certainly still find Penguin scummy. We actually have quite a few empty iso's and I feel certain that there is some scum there. I think Penguin; I guess you think Theta. But scum could easily be Vifam or Platinum. I'd like to lynch into that pool of 4, but it wouldn't tell us much and so is probably not the best lynch on Day1.
I will probably move my vote to Lore or Why, both of whom I am leaning scum on. I agree that WhyMafia seems to be trying to blend in, but that could just be nervous town play. And so am leaning towards Lore, but am holding out for better drinks.
I could potentially vote Gin or TChill who land just the scum side of null to me.

Let me explain how I'm using associatives, because apparently this sort of analysis is novel to ya'll. The weight of associative information points to Theta:

1. If Tchill is scum, so is Theta.

2. If Massive is scum, so is Theta.

3. If Transcend is scum, so is Theta.

4. If WhyMafia is scum, so is Theta.

5. If Gamma is scum, so is Theta.

6. If Texcat is scum, so is Theta.

7. If Ginn is scum, so is Theta.

If you don't understand one of these associations, I'd be happy to explain. To be clear, these associations don't tell us anything about the alignment of anyone but Theta. They don't tell you anything about the alignment of Tchill, Massive, Transcend, WhyMafia, Gamma, Texcat, or Ginn. But every association points to Theta. And that's telling, because it's likely there's scum among Tchill, Massive, Transcend, WhyMafia, Gamma, Texcat, and Ginn, at least one scum among them, so therefore it's likely that Theta is scum. This pattern -- and it's a scummy pattern -- shows up in most games. It almost always points to scum. I've seen it time and time again. I'm not using a single association to set up a lynching chain. I'm analyzing aggregate associatives to corroborate (not ground) my read on Theta.

If Theta is scum, we'll have to figure out who Theta's partners are. I haven't thought about who yet. Lapsa (and a few others) didn't want to lynch Theta because they were worried Theta's flip wouldn't give us information. In contrast, I'm confident that Theta's flip will give us valuable information, because there's lots of associative information to work with. I haven't sorted through the information yet. That's all I'm saying.

Are you just listing the people who don't like your case on Theta? Doesn't that say more about your case than it does about Theta or those on your list?

The reason I didn't give reads on those being replaced, is because this is only Day 1, and we have nothing to support the claim of either of them being Town or Scum. I can't give a read on a future player that hasn't posted or been recognized yet.

My vote is on Lore. Lore started out bad, voting Mutton and being very wishy-washy about the reasons. She seemed reluctant to give reads and then said that her top scum were Crush and Gin 356. This was followed by her saying that she agreed with most of what Crush had said 365. She looks to me like scum who knows who the townies are and is having a hard time trying to make a case on known townies. So she's now sticking to her case on Mutton.
WhyMafia and PMyst are voteable.
Theta is stuck at null for me. Something seemed wrong with the way that FourT was pushing her so hard. He was even making up pre-flip association reasons for lynching her.

i shot pm. i didn't read pm's claim as a soft pr claim though looking back now i can see why i should. it just didn't really even occur to me that thats what she might have been doing and the town seemed on board with a pm kill last night. like i said: i went back and forth between PM and WM (to try and get one of the town favored scum, tchill was not on my lsit because waffles was going to "confirm" him) and Mutton (my personal vendetta). i decided to follow what i thought the town majority would prefer since few if anyone else read mutton as scummy. that said: i do feel like total shit for shooting a pr so like..... sorry. i am basically vt now since i've used my one and only night action so i care much less if you guys want to lynch me today but it would still be a mistake over lynching actual scum.

I just went back and ISO'd them side by side and remembered vedith kept offering up whymafia as his preferred alternative to waffles. They might be scum together, but not for your reasons because I'm pretty sure that would have to have been a hard bus from vedith when waffles was getting lynched. He seemed to genuinely want whymafia lynched instead.

I agree that he seemed to. My problem is the next day when Why was actually lynched, he voted for Titus. It's a case of not putting your vote where your mouth is when it counts.

Why I didnt out myself earlier than now? Well when I first joined the game I figured that egg could have been a doctor that healed sling and saved him, but as time went on I eventually came to the conclusion that because there was only 1 visitor and 2 missing kills n1 that egg must have recruited sling n1. Add to this the argument a few pages ago that egg and slings case on someone were eerily similar and theres a bit more evidence for it.
By the time I worked it out though I had the result that implicated wm in slings killing so I went for that push.

Then when trans revealed his role I assumed that if he were town hed be getting a visit that night to off him so I chose him to watch, and saw piss but no death. So therefore in my mind that meant trans = scum so egg got pushed to the back burner again. But seriously though, why would I reveal my role early when I still had actions left to use since I'd be killed that night?

I was questioning why you didn't vote or push for an Egg lynch, if you thought you had a guilty on him. You don't have to claim in order to push someone. It still does not sit well with me.
