I had *influence* over the scum powers but not final cut in this version. Jingle mostly gave me what I wanted, but the Commuter and Visitor were his idea. He has a thing for Commuters, I think, and the Visitor is straight up negative utility, designed to provide bait for the Tracker and Reflexive Watcher, plus Tracker and Watcher fruits. In post 12608, Something_Smart wrote:I was just wondering if it's possible that Jingle put in a town tracker to interact with the scum visitor."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

Nonsense. The visitor can trigger watchers and trackers and get caught for the “wrong reasons” very easily. Besides, it’s not actually compulsive, so it’s not clearing them. PP actually did jail S_S, as we were concerned the instruction was a trap - thinking that S_S was a PR who would reveal that his action had gone through the night PP was supposed to jail him"Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

It's really not scumsided. We eliminated a lot of the major Town powers early (Hider, Vig, Bodyguard), many of the others were used to our advantage (Desperado, Hider and Vig again), avoided a bunch of pitfalls (we identified the Watcher trap N2 iirc), identified the Masons almost immediately, and conned you people into working against your own self-interest.In post 13130, Something_Smart wrote:
No shit, Sherlock. In post 13127, Gamma Emerald wrote:I’m getting the sense you are massively out of touch with the game
I'm really not wrong about Pine though. This setup is so scumsided he doesn't have to be proactive to win, so he can (and will) just be annoying.
Despite all of that, we're DROWNING in confirmed or near-confirmed Town, and if not for one Aristophanes-level deepwolf, would lose this game HARD."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

Dude, seriously, you're prejudging the setup before it's actually revealed. It's not Jingle's fault that we're playing a mechanically brilliant game and Town squandered its advantages."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"
