I was re-reading the rules and the thread and I am convinced that Peach is a player and not a mechanic. While I may be mistaken I think it would be better to stop all the claiming so whoever is Peach can remain anonymous.

I think it just means he has no "real vote" toward a lynch, honestly I don't see why Gimbo put up such a stink about reveling the other mushroom property. Don't we see the real vote count on a majority lynch anyhow?

I was thinking about it and I was musing that Bowser's main goal is to find and kidnap Peach, which would be a quicker win than wearing down the town until they're outnumbered, so as long as you can protect yourself from flowers you should be alright. while a double voting townie would be a better target than a random townie, they also know your not peach so that may save you, from bowser's NK anyway

any thoughts? I know this thought wouldn't really effect the game play but it was just something I was thinking about on the bus.

also I know it means little coming from me but I feathered TSN, because I was suspicious of the coin pooling idea, and he checked out, for what its worth

getting pop a star is a good plan, after all whats another 3 coins if it means a couple 100% townies

also if you think about it that 1up is a fantastic scum item, it would give the scum 2 votes, remove a townie vote, and make them look very town when all they really did was give the scum a 2 vote swing

the star like cream said is to keep pop alive so he can return the verdict and a feather is 5 coins (unless of course your not town) and a star is only 3 more. don't think of it as a night kill, more like a feather shroom combo, and if the feather flips scum then its a kill.

I don't see one thing about that is not pro town. for 8 community coins, and provided we are all alive tomorrow we would have 2 more 100% confirmed townies, and if I'm scum I'd be killed. it's probably the most town thing anyone can ever do. ever.

As for the coin claim if we gave all out coins to pop they would all be safe for the night, and those who didn't give them up would be prime lynch targets, those scum who did give up their coins would have no night items aside from whatever they are currently holding or their character powers (if any), and if pop confirms me and TSN then we can take a portion of the coins and then that night we can confirm or kill 3 more people, and so on and so forth.

However, its possible that the shroom secretly changes alignment or something (known only to pop), I have no idea..so pop isn't as confirmed as you might think.

By that same token its also possible that the mushroom makes him supreme ruler the Philip Morris Co. and able to levy heavy tariffs on kraft dinners

I'd say that the mushroom does what it say it does, no more, no less.

I'd also venture a FOS on Alabaska J, if everyone gives up their coins you wouldn't need to protect yourself from a night kill because even the scum would be coin less, and why would you be a target without coins in such a big group?

This is a huge assumption you can only make based on your own role, and we've already had a night phase so people have all had the oppertunity to spend/gain coins. the only person who I can see being concerned is whoever killed pop last night, speaking of which, how many coins did you have at the time of death pop?

back on the coin claim/lynch front whomever it was that killed pop got his coins so, depending on how many pop had we may be able to find whomever did it, (I'm guessing bowser)

as for this coin claiming/night killing. the idea is that everyone gives pop ALL their coins, so tonight the only one with coins is pop who is protected by his star that way we can limit the number of antitown night kills to one if were lucky, as well as scum investigations, because as we know 2 scum groups can cause cross killing over night, saving a townie and dropping a scum. also all the coins will be in town control and can be redistributed the next day.

Here's a question for Wario Inc and the DK crew, what are your win conditions? If it was to steal the princess, then that ship is about to sail. If something else then if we don't lynch right today, you'll never see those conditions filled. Also do you all know who is in your group (ie masons/cultist)? I don't know what the case is but we all need to work together to figure this out.

also we need to hit the kidnapper or Bowser? Do we as the Kingdom have any sort of roles to help figure this out. Seems like a needle in a haystack.

IIRC, FL claimed first...he could have bounced off that to claim his role.
