Going forwards my activity is basically gonna be limited to some key periods of time on weekdays, and whenever the hell I like at the weekends. I have to pay attention to my bedtimes now

Bell appears to be a player very much on my wavelength, which is a good and oft misunderstood length of wave. I believe this is one of the root causes for people having that read wrong. I also think it would make sense for scum to start shooting there while people still scumread Bell

Dunno where we're all at, but I should probably clarify the main gripe I have with Norwegian atm

Okay so I shot at him and that somehow made him think I'm town. I can maybe accept that.
Then when I voted away from him in a way that might build traction, he sheeped me. Quite directly. Pretty sure he was the main wagon at that point, and this was like, one of the first possible points for pressure to relieve there, and he took it. What's more, let's say you're town. Why do you sheep someone on a different read with no basis but that they are scumreading you? It's totally ridiculous- the only read they hold that you actually know whether it's right or wrong, and they have it wrong. So why sheep on another read?
2 reasons. Pressure relief, and trying to pocket me away from continuing to vote him.

With my playstyle what it was on day 1, anyone who respects my play in general would have shot me. I hardly gave any reads. Shooting me would completely negate any impact I cold have on the game. This will change in this day phase

Sometimes I feel like my reads must be horrifically wrong when I don't get NKed, but the only hard reads I committed to were Norwegian!scum and Bell!town

This XCOM sounds like a better one than XCOM 2 maybe probably I don't think XCOM 2 has accuracy stats for individual characters and character development is really samey

It's a very extensive mod for XCOM 1 that makes for a very long and brutal campaign

One of the options I've got enabled means characters start with randomised stats within certain boundaries, so mobility, willpower, accuracy, and their inherent defence all vary
Plus they get different amounts on level ups, which are also affected by the classes chosen, of which there are many because long war has 4 sets of 2 similar but distinct classes.
So basically everyone gets very different.
Can also promote people to officers

Also because of the size of the campaign and fatigue mechanics, you get a looooot of people. So it's pretty meaningful that you're my best sniper because I have like 6 of them

Tbh this was a pretty damn good return game for reinforcing my read accuracy, considering the shit I was playing the last few games before my hiatus
