then you ignored me and I began thinking:

why doesn't he want to dance with me?

if he's town I'd imagine he'd want to catch me and yeet me to get revenge for Turing
if he's mafia maybe he thinks I will get paranoid of him and yeet him.

but no that's not the complete picture because i could get paranoid of town him and leave him anyway because i always scumread townhim and he doesn't want to deal with that..
but he also wouldn't want to deal with that if he's scum.

so i started talking about how i wasnt going to take this game seriously and just wanted to have fun to set your mind at ease[both of which are true, I am just here to have fun]

and then you still were like nah there's no way i'm dancing with you.

so then I was like ok i'd dance with firebringer or STD because they might write a long story with me and that would be fun.

and at that point Drapion proposed to me out of nowhere, and I wasn't really sure if I should accept because he's sort of crazy and ranty and his reads are whack but then I thought about his approach to me skewed town because he was re-evaluating me in the moment and moved from his first choice.

then I remember he was ranting in the PT alone to himself and thought at least i'd have a pretty active dance pt so that might be fun.

so I accepted and I felt kind of happy in the moment because just the act of someone saying they want to be with you is kind of nice?

and like you're making it like I've decided to target him for reasons when that's literally not how any of this went down?

the reason is her mindset around her invitations to me, which she has said there were 3 of

which i understood to be a reference to me in invictus, but also it only actually applies if im scum here. the "i want to be pocketed" imo outweighs the "like andante" like, gramatically, so the request feels like it's more to scum than it is to me. which means that i, as town, don't really see it as a serious invitation to me, just kinda a cute jokey entrance post. (and before anyone says that my 1613 says otherwise, yes, you're right, i hadn't really thought about it at that point and i don't think my response of "yes" there was very accurate. i was aware it was a reference to me but i did not see it as direct of an invitation as ari seems to have thought it was)

but dancing with ari sounds fun regardless so i still respond to her other posts even if i don't exactly have a response for that one

i think her mindset of seeing my lack of response to the first post + my response to the second post as rejection only really makes sense if she doesn't know my alignment. i just don't really think it would occur to her to feel rejected by me apparently not being willing to pocket her if she knew that the invitations didn't actually really apply to me. i think she def could have that same approach as scum, but the mindset of the reaction and the consistency of that with what she posted at the time + her accept on drapion + what she's saying now all feel like she is unaware of the fact that i am town and wouldn't see those as invitations

Checking the first posts I don't see how she did a blatant lie like here, confidence isn't that usual from MariaR from what little I remember, but what is inconsistent about her knowledge there, I am not reading an entire day there to understand. Explain what I am looking at/for yeah?

to me it's the combination of gamestate reads and quick takes on dayplay reads that feel conflicting and don't make sense together, and stating opinions on slots that later she has said she hasn't read (which iirc she did with dwlee)

i think replace outs are hard to predict the exact motivations behind and i don't think it's generally a good idea to base a read on them

for example scum shea could have known that he would 100% replace out in that situation as town and so felt like he needed to in order to avoid any sort of trust tell type situation
