Interesting in what way exactly? I think I'm on the same page as you here, but it sounds like you have more experience with her than I do.

From memory, and it has been a while, Ranger is very much "Just use the sledgehammer." in her approaches. Subtlety isnt often on the menu, and this falls under both.

Its a repeated, short, clear, statement that is scattered through her posts, its forcefully.planting that idea that shes town but also done in a way you desensitise to seeing the statement.

I'm fairly certain players aren't giving credit to me where it's due this game. I've been ahead of the curb at nearly every stage.

I was the one who brought up the mechanical reason for not putting everyone in, and people followed it after I brought it up.
I was the one who brought up Rautherdir was likely a town mislim off the back of players like Radical Rat, and people followed it after I brought it up.
Most of my reads, you've objective evidence I was the first to have, yet after forming them suddenly everyone had them. Examples include my DragonEater70 scumread, Titus read, Flea read, Aureal suspicion, and countless more.

I'm suspicious of the point of these comments from you and Flea. Neither of you are voting for me so are you just going to try to set me up for a push tomorrow?

Flea's entire premise is that I made a filler post when I was trying to get down to the base of the WhemeStar/Ranger lurking vs checked out argument. I understand that it probably reads differently when rereading, but at that moment in time it's a pretty rare spurt of activity of WhemeStar and I see the opportunity to clarify a few things that have been bothering me for a while. If it is the case that he's suddenly trying because Ranger is pushing on him, there's a lot of information to be gained particularly regarding Ranger's alignment.

The actual reasoning for the "or lack of a post" qualifier in 1809 is something I've mentioned earlier which is that I'm often thorough with wording to the point of obfuscating my comments. I meant if there was a time didn't post something that he had noticed because he was checked out or inactive. Also, if you read the entire interaction, there's a post in the middle of it that no one else has mentioned which is 1814. It's not like I asked him a question then gave him an answer. He responded to my questioning in 1815 and 1819.

He literally had his vote on me the entire day without explaining why. It's a little hard to figure out if someone is lurking vs. just going through the motions without actually asking them questions where they could say something revealing.

Yeah, but this isn't a Normal game, and in non-Normal games the distinction matters. There is a functional difference in this setup, and the original version, between a Cop and a Bloodhound.

As far as we can tell though, there is no functional difference between Alien/Marshall, and Marshall would be an original role name with no prior usage (for this ability anyway) on MS or any of the other sites/games I checked, which is a bizarre choice for what's supposed to be the disambiguation part of the role.

Given it my previous role were discussing, yes bloodhound is different from a cop.

Cop returns alignment. Bloodhouse returns town or not. Cop is more specific.

Absolutely. There's countless number of reasons scum would hand out +town inventions. Required by the mod. Gains an advantage. The inventions are sabotaged and don't do what they say. Or even quite simply, towncred.
